Two shots of espresso with steamed milk in a bowl "Parisian style". Loved it!

Surprisingly busy on a Wednesday morning. Had the best breakfast sandwich (number 2 on menu) with portobello mushroom and smoked provolone and egg. It was perfect I will definitely order again. Little nuggets of crispy potatoes with a side of ketchup and aioli rounded out the meal. I loved my Parisian style latte in a bowl . Seating was full we had to wait for a seat and it took a bit of time for the food to come out so I would not come in a hurry. The pastries looked delicious. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast

These croissants are amazing. Latte was super good too. The service was excellent. It is a noisy environment

Stopped by here randomly and I wasn't too excited after eating here. The staff wasn't very patient with me asking questions about what was in their pastries, which is unfortunate. They have a huge drink selection and I ended up grabbing a few beers for later. Pretty pricey and I only liked one of the two I got. For food, I got a Savory Scone, which was extremely dry and didn't taste fresh, and the Avocado Toast. I really liked the avocado toast and they didn't skimp on the fresh avocado they gave me. The Jacobsen Chile salt they use really enhanced the flavoring! This was 100% worth the price and I would come back just for this. Baked good were not up to par and the employees need a better attitude, but the cooks did great with the food.

    Wedge salad

I normally love Provisions and enjoy coming here for both breakfast and lunch. I ordered the wedge salad after a friend of mine had tried it on a previous visit. She loved it and recommended I try it the next time I come. I ordered the wedge salad to go but when I got it home it was TINY!! Not like the one my friend had received the week prior. For $14 this salad should have been large and able to fill me up. I had to supplement with lettuce from home. Very disappointed. That being said, the salad I did have was delicious but far too small.

    Marche burger, ordered medium well.

Medium sized cafe that caters to meeting up with friends and having coffee or a small bite. Definitely would recommend. Front staff was very friendly. Marche burger is solid, ordered medium well and cooked closer to a medium, I did not even care, it was delicious. Thick onion chunk was intimidating but cooked well so not overbearing and blue cheese paired well. Felt like a little more greens could set it off. Fries had great flavor and texture, salted perfectly. Bread pudding was lemon poppyseed, yeah it was awesome and only $3.50.

Provisions South is an outstanding spot to grab a coffee or bite to eat! The interior is open with lots of seating and natural light. Employees are friendly. They have a market area where you can purchase high end items like pasta, olive oil, and wine. Whenever I come in the morning there is a huge selection of fresh pastries- all amazing. I really like their sweet scone and kougin amann. I have also heard they have a great cinnamon roll. Coffee is hot and delicious. They grind all the beans fresh. Lots of latte/drink options. They also have a great lunch and dinner menu. Breakfast sandwiches, salads, soups, and more. I really like the fox hollow sandwhich which has turkey, pesto, brie, and arugula. It comes on focaccia bread too that is delicious! Huge portion and only 12$ which I feel is a very reasonable price. Everything here tastes extremely high quality and fresh. You can tell they use good ingredients. Check it out if you haven't been!!

More and more the enormously super Provisions South staff amaze me and my quests with extraordinary service and great meals. Great atmosphere, super crew and a menu that never ceases to please everyone. I applaud Jordan, Lauren, Wyeth, Crystal, Adam, Hanna and everyone else on staff. You are artists and masters at everything you do.

It's only fair to update your reviews and admit it when you've errored. The pastry case was in fact awesome! Yes it was earlier in the day but hey that's when they are fresh. Quality goodies for Easter Sunday thanks.

I'm in love with this place! Best burger in town in my less than humble opinion. If your looking for an addiction, try the Kouign-Amman pastry. You've been warned, you will need them on the regular. While your there, sit on the open patio with a friend, in a nice quieter part of eugene. The folks working there hustle to ensure your service is top notch, along with the glorious food. Keep it up!!

I went here on the 4th of July which is hella less annoying than 4th of July in the Mission in SF aka my hood. So my beloved Lotus Garden aka vegan Chinese food that is fab that I would frequent in the day when in lived in Eugene was closed on the 4th despite their website saying they were open and walked there to find out they only are currently doing take out. Damn like Kendrick Lamar So I walk back to Big City Gaming and the friendly bartender tells me that they have an all vegetarian menu even though it isn't pure veg aka they have non veg too. It's all good baby, baby. I am starving after walking heaps in the hard sun like Eddie Vedder. So I get some water and check out the all veg menu. Upon the bartender's suggestion I go with the jackfruit tacos. They were quite alright aka two corn tortillas filled with generous portions of fajita style grilled jackfruit, topped with cabbage, pico de gallo and our signature avocado crema sauce sprinkled with queso fresco. I decided to add vegan crema and non-dairy cheese for a buck. It hit the spot. I did feel like a fish out of water with all the screens showing baseball as basketball is my jam. I am a huge Warriors fan and sad we lost Donte yet he is going to the Knicks. Cool atmosphere with screens for sports and games such as shooting basketballs in the hoop etc. Recommended for sports night!

The new public house is pretty much behind their original spot, overlooking Coburg Road. We sat in a booth with very tall walls that felt very private but I don't feel like I could tell you the vibe of the rest of the restaurant. Since I was sitting in the back of the booth, I could only see two other tables that were along the windows and the traffic going by in the dark. Next time we'll ask not to sit in a booth so we can see more of the restaurant. Our server informed us that the public house was split into two sections. We were in the full-service restaurant part and there was a more casual (order at the counter?) section by the front door for people that just wanted to grab a beer and sit at a communal table. Our server was excellent. Not the typical Eugene service from him! He answered our questions about the beers and brought us tastes and had all the answers ready about the food. They were out of two things (understandable at such a new spot) but I noticed that they had already changed their menu a few times in the few short weeks they've been opened. Yay for seasonal menus!! Our party went super basic and we all ordered the Butter Burger (the butter is mixed into the patty so it helps the burger caramelize) which came with fries. We also split the grilled potato salad(served chilled), which was a good sized portion to split with our group of five. My kiddo got the wings (sauceless) and fries. We'll be back to try more of the menu items and sit at a table without walls.

The beer I tried Minute After Midnight was very good and thoroughly enjoyable. Now for the downside. The food. The Butter Burger resembles a regular McDonald's hamburger, the patty is grossly over seasoned and completely unenjoyable. As shown in the picture the bun was burned on the inside and the outside. It was very unpalatable. The Pretzel was large and warmed through nicely however the overall quality of the pretzel was that of a common bulk discount store. They placed four very small slivers of cheese on it that did very little to improve the flavor and appearance of the pretzel. That being said the mustard dipping sauce was very good. The French fries were spot on and very enjoyable particularly with the garlic aïoli that was served with the unimpressive hamburger. And finally let's get to the Delicata squash , unfortunately I will spend the rest of my life trying to remove the taste of that culinary disaster from my taste buds. The appearance of the dish is a complete disaster the aroma is as repulsive as wondering into a public bathroom shortly after someone spent far too long blowing up the toilet. I made the mistake of tasting it, that left a mark. The texture was the best thing about the dish with as poor as the texture was. The flavor was so putrid that I had to spit it into a napkin. It was a totally unpleasant experience. The ambience was warm and inviting. It would've helped if they had a section where kids could be, so the noise does not bother the customers that went to an adult location like a taproom to enjoy an adult beverage. I do believe this establishment does potential. The servers are amazing and the beer I tried was excellent. They do however need to fire whoever has created the menu and the recipes. The food is truly a crime against humanity. I truly hope they can get the quality of the food under control. I would be willing to give them another try if in fact the menu and food is corrected.

With that meal you will experience actual satisfaction and contentment. That's the first thing I have to say in case you're reading for a recommendation of what to order. Even better if you have it late night after experiencing the best Handel's Messiah concert at the Hult in December. I had a small slider of corned beef along with his amazing fresh Kale salad garnish with shaved Parmesan, walnuts, added protein -- sausage. It came with a toasted slice of soda bread that was great. But the slider was how I realized the corned beef was PERFECTLY prepared. A taste was not enough; I decided to get the dinner plate version to take the next day up to Seattle with me. Fantastic staff included Barkeep Illyia, whose birthday it was. She kept up a steady stream of attentive care, skillful service, friendly banter with each of the clients that came in and said good by to them as they left. Hospitality was her middle name. Love that they have mugs for the regulars hanging from the ceilings, the bar space is great but so are the arm chairs and cushioned seats in the corners of the pub. I even ran into two other concertgoers who had also been so energized after the Messiah concert that they didn't want to go home. We spent a half hour at the bar unpacking the highs and best points of the performance by the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, and the symphony choir, and each of the soloists. We also unanimously agreed the tenor was fantastic, the baritone a paragon of artistic talent, the soprano sang incandescently, and that the final AMEN movement was soul healing and mind blowing simultaneously. Yeah. It was that good. This place was the right place to come to unpack it all over a Guinness and the best corned beef and cabbage in town. Love that it was open late enough to enjoy after the concert. Will be back.
