Since I was up in the Amazon area I decided to check out Provisions; I think the original has been around a while I've never been to it. This location is small but has some excellent stuff. I only came to get a sandwich but also got a strawberry macaron for my kiddo since she loves them. I got the Foxtrot sandwich, and I have to say it's one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. I wasn't sure I'd like the basil-hazelnut pesto--I don't like filberts--but you couldn't actually taste that signature hazelnut flavor. It was also really filling, and I only ate half of it in that sitting. I was really sad when I realized after I left Eugene that I left the second half in my sister's refrigerator. They usually make it with focaccia, but they'd run out the afternoon I stopped in so I chose sourdough instead and you know, I'd probably ask for it on sourdough again instead of the focaccia. An update, since I started this review in April 2026 and hadn't posted it yet as of August 2026 (but will today!): I had the summer BLT and it was delicious. It comes with micro greens as a side by default, but I paid extra for the frites instead. It was a very filling meal, and I'm glad I made it my choice this time! My sister got the fish and chips, which she wasn't as happy with, so next time she'll stick to the steak frites. Service was great. They have some nice quality foods for sale in the place--not a huge bit of merchandise, but a good selection. They also apparently have a happy hour daily from 3-5 with specials. There's a lot of seating, and on the nice days they have quite a few tables outside. Parking is a little trickier. There's retail on the first floor, but a few flors of apartments above, so the parking lot is split in half between the apartments and the restaurants. It took a few minutes and a few spins around the lot (plus checking street availability) but I got lucky with a space. But there's lots of residential streets around so you'll be able to find parking somewhere. read more

Back for the first time in a long while. Came early enough to get access to the bran muffins. Sometimes the best things are gone before 11 AM. Took a butter croissant as well as the ham and Gruyère cheese croissant, heated, for later. I think the server name was Lindsay and she was wonderfully understanding and helpful with the dilemma of which croissants to select. Write a book so I could read it while enjoying my tea in a mug and my pastry on a plate. read more

Best coffee in Eugene. Very good food and quick walk up style counter service. My go to place for breakfast or lunch in south Eugene. They definitely get busy during the weekend breakfast rush but I have found it's still fast enough you don't really have to wait which is a big plus for me. They have a nice outdoor seating area as well. read more

Food is very good. Love the crispy potatoes and the sauce on the steak and eggs. They are very busy at 10:30am on a Sunday, it's a bit overwhelming. I had to remind them of my pastry that got left in the microwave. Would be helpful if they printed the restroom code on receipt so I wouldn't have to bother them to ask. Surprisingly busy on a Wednesday morning. Had the best breakfast sandwich (number 2 on menu) with portobello mushroom and smoked provolone and egg. It was perfect I will definitely order again. Little nuggets of crispy potatoes with a side of ketchup and aioli rounded out the meal. I loved my Parisian style latte in a bowl . Seating was full we had to wait for a seat and it took a bit of time for the food to come out so I would not come in a hurry. The pastries looked delicious. This was my tried and true location for a great meal in Eugene. I still dream of the oatmeal with hazelnuts for breakfast. Because I was just there for a college tour, I would grab meals to go too and take them back to where I was staying for just about every meal. Eating in or out this is a very inviting, flexible space that makes you keep coming back for more. They have something for everyone. read more

Stopped by here randomly and I wasn't too excited after eating here. The staff wasn't very patient with me asking questions about what was in their pastries, which is unfortunate. They have a huge drink selection and I ended up grabbing a few beers for later. Pretty pricey and I only liked one of the two I got. For food, I got a Savory Scone, which was extremely dry and didn't taste fresh, and the Avocado Toast. I really liked the avocado toast and they didn't skimp on the fresh avocado they gave me. The Jacobsen Chile salt they use really enhanced the flavoring! This was 100% worth the price and I would come back just for this. Baked good were not up to par and the employees need a better attitude, but the cooks did great with the food. read more

We come here weekly! Counter service bakery with nice baristas and servers and great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The staff are receptive to feedback and will make things right if something is wrong with your order. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors so it is pet friendly. The website allows you to order ahead so you can skip the line. read more

I normally love Provisions and enjoy coming here for both breakfast and lunch. I ordered the wedge salad after a friend of mine had tried it on a previous visit. She loved it and recommended I try it the next time I come. I ordered the wedge salad to go but when I got it home it was TINY!! Not like the one my friend had received the week prior. For $14 this salad should have been large and able to fill me up. I had to supplement with lettuce from home. Very disappointed. That being said, the salad I did have was delicious but far too small. read more

Wow!! We are driving through Eugene from San Francisco to Vancouver and needed a good coffee and breakfast before we hit the road. We got breakfast sandwich 1 and avocado toast. Both were absolutely spectacular - and I'm pretty particular, having had some great Sammies and avo toasts. The sandwiches bread was particularly amazing - and just overall a nice amount of bacon and cheese and egg- the ratio is everything!! The potatoes that came with it were also SO TASTY!! Soft on the inside, a thin crispy layer on the outside. Wow. And the garlic aioli was perfection. Wow. The avo toast was fresh, had a nice amount of citrus and a nice kick of spice. The fresh fruit was more fresh and tasty than the typical side of fruit you get from an average breakfast place. You can bet we will be stopping here on our drive back to San Francisco! Medium sized cafe that caters to meeting up with friends and having coffee or a small bite. Definitely would recommend. Front staff was very friendly. Marche burger is solid, ordered medium well and cooked closer to a medium, I did not even care, it was delicious. Thick onion chunk was intimidating but cooked well so not overbearing and blue cheese paired well. Felt like a little more greens could set it off. Fries had great flavor and texture, salted perfectly. Bread pudding was lemon poppyseed, yeah it was awesome and only $3.50. read more

Provisions South is an outstanding spot to grab a coffee or bite to eat! The interior is open with lots of seating and natural light. Employees are friendly. They have a market area where you can purchase high end items like pasta, olive oil, and wine. Whenever I come in the morning there is a huge selection of fresh pastries- all amazing. I really like their sweet scone and kougin amann. I have also heard they have a great cinnamon roll. Coffee is hot and delicious. They grind all the beans fresh. Lots of latte/drink options. They also have a great lunch and dinner menu. Breakfast sandwiches, salads, soups, and more. I really like the fox hollow sandwhich which has turkey, pesto, brie, and arugula. It comes on focaccia bread too that is delicious! Huge portion and only 12$ which I feel is a very reasonable price. Everything here tastes extremely high quality and fresh. I love Provisions South. The food, pastries and coffee are fantastic. I have been going there since they opened right before COVID.

Waited an hour on a Thursday at 1pm for kids Mac and cheese and a burger.. still haven't gotten food, but getting bored and unhappy.

Finally tried this place, it was very good! I had a double shot 12 oz latte, loved it! Smooth coffee no sugar needed. The breakfast sandwich #1 was also great! Even the potatoes were surprisingly nice, not overwhelming salted or seasoned. Husband had avocado toast which he thoroughly enjoyed, the only reason for a four star review is the price is a bit steep. I do understand that it's a new and expensive building. I had two cookies for dessert I'm ready to go back and get a couple more! Husband was not terribly excited about the cinnamon roll. However, I think we're going back again. read more

Stopped here this morning to finally try the breakfast sandwich. It was huge and quite tasty. The bacon was super crispy, just how I like it and some of the best I've had at a restaurant, especially on a sandwich. It also had a fried egg, cheddar cheese, and garlic aioli on a toasted pan de mie bun. My only complaint is that the bun was a bit large and heavy for a breakfast item, it felt like it was made for a giant burger. The garlic aioli has quite a strong flavor too, I liked it and I think it helped differentiate this from other breakfast sandwiches but it might not be for everyone. read more

So a friend took me here and she's a big fan of the whole Marche and Provisions restaurants/businesses! (Which includes this place) I am now a fan too! My friend also told me her favorite thing was the Fox Hole Sandwich which looked good to me and didn't have much dairy (normally has cheese that I didn't get). Y'all this sandwich was DANG GOOD. I'm usually not a huge sandwich girl either but this one was well worth it. And the bread. Dare I say this was the beat bread I've ever had??? It may be. I will be going back AND I can take my hubby because they have a veggie/vegan sandwich that also looked amazing!!! They also had some Macaroons AND Macarons which I love both of them so that made me happy. Overall 10/10. Oh also inside and outside seating available for whatever you're comfy with and they were cleaning in between people! Yay! And super nice employees! As far as price it's a little more than normal but barely. But it was one of those I didn't care because it was THAT good. Just go and try! I'm in love with this place! Best burger in town in my less than humble opinion. If your looking for an addiction, try the Kouign-Amman pastry. You've been warned, you will need them on the regular. While your there, sit on the open patio with a friend, in a nice quieter part of eugene. The folks working there hustle to ensure your service is top notch, along with the glorious food. They've been open for a short time, but we love provisions south! They opened just before covid hit, but they've done a wonderful job adapting and have created a welcoming and safe atmosphere. As far as food and beverage go, you can expect a similar fare to what Provisions at 5th street offers (this is owned by the same people as Provisions and Marche). Definitely order the Marche burger--it is Eugene's best kept secret, and our favorite burger in town! They also offer a small market with to-go items like wine, beer, cheese and kitchen staples. They have a small but robust selection. You should definitely stop by! read more

Place is perfect, would give an even better review if i could, Food is very good, The lamb flatbread sandwich is one of my favorites with another one being the normal Marche Burger. Pastries are always fresh and pair very well with a cafe au lait. The bread they sell is also quite good and is definitely worth the price. And finishing this up, The cinnamon rolls are to d-i-e for, i love them alot so i always pass by on the weekend. edit: forgot to mention this, The avocado toast is definitely worth it as they use their own bread and fresh avocado. 5/5 stars definitely recommend coming read more

OMG this is such new place it doesn't even have any reviews yet! I think the new Provisions South is a great addition to the Amazon area. I visited this location on a very sunny day so they had the giant rolling doors open and it created such an open and relaxed atmosphere. A great place to silently work on a laptop or chat with friends. I came to try their PM menu and ordered the Porto Sandwich. It was very good. Grilled portobello mushrooms and a sun dried tomato relies crammed into the fold of a flatbread. It was wonderful. Even the side of greens it was served with was great. A spring mix simply tossed with a little oil and seasoning. Goes to show that when the ingredients are fresh it doesn't take a lot to make a delicious dish. I also washed everything down with a glass of white wine. Not my intentions before ordering but that wine menu was just taunting me, I had to. My only complaint is that I don't live closer to make this a more regular stop. read more

Provisions S is a great little restaurant open 7 days a week. The food is consistent, the staff is FANTASTIC. I am alarmed to learn it will be adding Door Dash delivery. Tonight the restaurant appeared not too busy. Then I learned my order would take 40 minutes due to large To-Go orders ahead of me. pI urge Provisions NOT to add Door Dash services in addition to the unpredictable To-Go orders. The staff receive no tips for DD orders, yet they produce the same quality of food and service. My personal experience with DD has not been good. When an order takes longer than expected; the "dasher" is allowed to abandon the order. DD eventually finds another "dasher" but in my experience, the food has sat, the delivery is delayed, and the quality of the product degrades. As someone who is a regular at Provisions S, nearly daily, and not just for a coffee, I feel Provisions S will suffer its reputation, its excellent service, and wonderful staff, along with faithful patrons. This is a small quaint restaurant in S Eugene. I would be extremely disappointed in the ownership of Provisions S if it pursues Door Dash as a means to boost profits. A 40-minute wait will become common place and those who regularly and faithfully patronize this amazing restaurant that excels in service and quality will be turned away. What makes Provisions S so special is the quality of staff, their friendliness and the product Provisions S provides. read more

Eugene is lucky to have so many amazing coffee shops. Provisions makes a great Cappuccino. Also got veggie quiche. Very good and has a good amount of fancy cut fruit. The service was also superb. All that is 5 stars! But the vibe, yuppie, rich people. No thanks. Ambiance is terrible and you can go a few blacks to an equally quality coffee shop with no Tesla Cyber Truck. read more

I just moved in upstairs and decided to have a bite to eat with my family for lunch. The counter service was fine, and the food didn't take too long which was nice. The seating is casual, yet it feels upscale because of the location. Unfortunately, the food just isn't all that great. I had the Fox Hollow sandwich, as recommended by the staff. The focaccia was not crunchy, as I was hoping, the chunks of Brie were far too rich and overpowering, and the turkey meat was cold. It felt like I was eating a refrigerated grocery store sandwich. The greens that came with the sandwich had okay flavor, but I would have preferred to have other options for my side (or at the very least, a full salad with toppings). My sister ordered the burger, which was burnt -- granted, she did order it well done -- but it was far past well done. My mom ordered the oysters, which had good flavor and texture, but did not feel like a meal. Again, these only came with the greens and a side of tarter sauce, and a lemon wedge. This menu item just didn't feel very well thought through. I know this place is mostly known for their breakfast, so I am excited to go back and try that instead.
