Tried this place right before moving out of Eugene and I wish I knew about it before. There aren't many mediterranean restaurants in the area so Tradewinds is a really good option. The food was good and there is a ton of variety within the menu. We tried the lamb gyro, greek salad and sampler plate. There is also great patio seating in the front that makes for a nice dinning experience during warmer weather. The only complaint we had was the wait time. This restaurant is self order at the counter so we expected a quick dinning experience, but it did take a while to get our food.

I love this place. I've only ever ordered the Greek food and I would say that's enough. They have traditional gyro meat (thinly sliced beef/lamb), souvlaki chicken, and falafel for protein choices. You pick if you want a gyro (sandwich), plate/bowl with rice, or a sampler plate (like a snack plate). All are tasty! They also have burgers, sandwiches, and salads. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. It's pretty small, but there's a nice little patio too. It used to be a market so the place is still lined with coolers. Not the fanciest place but clean and cozy.

I had a great experience at tradewinds today! Cute spot. They had a rlly nice outdoor patio for seating. Good ambiance. The menu had a lot of great options! Mediterranean food as well as burgers, salads, sandwiches, and more. Huge drink menu as well. Perfect for a quick lunch! Would recommend. Will definitely be back!

Talk about a hidden gem. Once you find this place your reward is the best Mediterranean food in Eugene.

Still my favorite for Mediterranean food, TradeWinds also serves some of the best sandwiches, burgers and fries on the West Coast. You can't beat the gyros but don't stop there. Today I had a most fantastic Cajun Cobb Salad. It was great. They also have a super beer, wine and coffee selection. This place ain't fancy but with fantastic food and low prices you can't beat it for casual dine in or take home for large or small parties.

Love this delicious place! Have been coming here for a year now and have never been disappointed. I 99% of the time get the voodoo chicken salad. Fiancé gets the mezzi plate, this time tried the burger which looks yummie. They have house made non alcoholic drinks, CBD drinks, beer and wine. A must try!

Tradewinds serves up some super tasty Greek/Mediterranean style food and has a nice enclosed outdoor seating area that was surprisingly comfortable. We were helped by a very friendly lady at the counter (Abbie?) who also served up our food when ready. I had the classic Gyro Pita, my wife had the sampler plate and others in our party had the veggie pita, Medi plate (falafel plate?), My Big Fat Greek Pita, and the Chicken pita. Everything was tasty and filling. Good place to try for some wonderful Greek or Mediterranean foods. Thanks!

Amazing and good tasting food. Garlic fries were so tasty! I will be craving them for sure. Food was done quickly too!

This was probably my favorite place from what I tried in Eugene! Everyone was so nice and the food was delicious! It left me feeling satisfied and was by far the best value for a meal! It was just crowded because it's so popular. So, it got very warm inside because there are no shade blinds in the second room. Otherwise, it's cozy and I would totally be a regular if I lived here!

For the parents, kids menu! Please add this menu to your online order menu, thanks!

Good food and friendly service. Can be very busy! Eat-in vibe is a basically jiffy mart.

But last night, my dasher kept pushing my delivery time later and later so Cafe Agora reached out and asked if I felt comfortable with one of their employees delivering instead. It was an unexpected moment of kindness after I had a rough day. PS - get the Saj Wrap! I've tried every protein option and you can't go wrong.

It was labor day and we were looking for something that was open in the downtown area. We stumbled…read moreupon this food truck and it looked good. I ordered a combo plate with the chicken over salad (instead of rice) and a side of baba ganoush that came with some pita pieces. The food was good, the baba ganoush was probably the best item out of my meal. It had a real nice smoky flavor. What caught me off guard was the chicken. It had curry seasoning. Not the regular mediterrean curry taste, but kinda like the red curry seasoning you buy at Trader Joe's taste. It was not expected, but I ended up accepting it and finished my meal because I was hungry. Price point was a bit higher to what the portion and quality of my meal was worth. But given the fact that it's one of the few places open on a federal holiday, there's no real other options to this type of cuisine here in Eugene, and costs of owning a business in a food truck, I get it. I'll try again and get the gyro next time. Will update then.
