    Falafel plate with feta

I decided to try Shalosh on on my dinner break and was pleasantly surprised by the quick service and friendly service provided by Corey. The fresh ingredients and the tasty food made me definitely want to come back since I only work a block away. I loved the dish I ordered. The hummus was silky smooth and had a great taste. I also loved the accompanying tomatoes, cucumbers, other veggies. The falafel were hard on the outside but soft and flavorful on the inside.

Craving Mediterranean food with my spouse-we remembered hearing about this gem! New fans for life. I got a plate lunch, he got a wrap & we both left completely stuffed. The people behind the counter were really kind, patient with me when I checked on my order & made a 10/10 meal. Already excited for the next time!

What a hidden gem! Located outside at the Springfield Public House, this spot should not be missed! Flatbread wrap with chicken - we LOVE the flavorful, moist and perfectly seasoned chicken shishlik. The crisp dill pickle spear, pickled cabbage, sweet picked sumac onions, Schug (herbs, lemon, garlic sauce), and tehina (tahini) all lend to a bomb of tasty goodness. Make sure to add the award-winning hummus for a next level experience. 5+++++ stars!!!! Za'atar Fries - a little pricey for the amount of fries, but super delicious! The garlic toum sauce was superb and was a nice aioli for the fries. 5 stars! The owner is super kind and always checks in to see how everything is tasting. We always look forward to coming here for authentic Israeli and Mediterranean flavors. See you soon!

We'll be back! Everything was delicious! The staff was helpful answering our questions about the dishes when we were ordering. The setup of the Public House allows everyone in your party to get something that suits their appetite and Shalosh was perfect for us. My husband and I shared these dishes and cleaned our plates.

This is the best food in Eugene/Springfield right now. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. We had the chicken skewer plate and the Labneh for a side. The hummus is light and smooth. The labneh was refreshing and had great spices added on top. The chicken was spicy, not hot, best zesty and robust with za'atar and some other flavors. The whole meal had a homemade feeling that reminded me of my grandmother's table. We are not middle eastern, but the food was prepared with emotion and joy the way my Nanna used to do it. Can't recommend highly enough.

Delicious! Chicken shawarma is nearly impossible to find in Eugene/Springfield and this place makes it so good along with all their bomb sauces and silky smooth hummus. If I lived in Springfield I'd eat there every day

Ask the Community - Shalosh Levantine Cuisine

Still in business? Organic ingredients?. Vegan options?

Yes, still in business. Ingredients are not listed or on menu as organic, so I would guess they are not. There are a lot of vegan options as this type of cuisine lends itself to veganism very easily. Hope that helps.

    Gluten free options?

Everything is gluten free except for the bread

The sauce on the falafel pita was super weird, like something I've never had, and I've eaten plenty of falafel sandwiches, and the falafel was cold (I dug one out to see if I wanted to eat just the falafel). I threw the falafel pita away...did not eat it because it was so gross. It was kinda bizarre how much sauce they put on it...see pic. Not only unappetizing (the sauce), but overall gross in appearance, especially being in such quantity. I can't recall ever throwing away a falafel pita, but this was really gnarly. So...the worst falafel sandwich I've ever had. I can think of one in Tucson that would be competition for worst ever, but I did choke that one down. I ate the chicken pita but did not enjoy it. The place was in significant disarray, didn't seem clean...an overall bad vibe for a Saturday afternoon. I regret going there, but it had good reviews. Sorry.

For 20-plus years I've been making the pilgrimage to Eugene every few years (usually on the occasion of PIELC) -- and without fail, at some point we would end up at Sam Bond's Garage. But this year -- no Sam Bond's. It's turned into the Whit franchise of a pizza place, apparently. (No disrespect to their pizza. It's delicious.) But. What happened to my favorite bar/music spot in Eugene?? Such an unspeakable loss, if this venue is actually permanently closed. I will remain hopeful that it will be reborn... somewhere else?
