Amazing falafel!!! The falafel balls are fantastic texture and seasoning. All the sauces are delicious, and the produce used is the highest quality. Service is fast and on point. I could not be happier with this addition to the area! The Fat Falafel cart is situated in the OG Corner Market parking lot on River Road, next to their garden with a few picnic tables. Owner super nice! The falafel is SO flavorful and I like that they tasted so fresh - not dry and chalky like they can be. The harissa dressing was delish, as well. The only thing I didn't enjoy were the olives - they had pits that I wasn't expecting and the flavor was very strong (the marinade on them), almost competing with the flavors of the rest of the salad. So delicious! You can really tell when someone that is preparing your food cares about how it's received. The menu is small. Falafel salad or falafel sandwich. I love this Falafel cart -- feels like a hidden gem considering almost everywhere else with falafel in Eugene uses a dried pre-made falafel mix. This place makes a beautiful from scratch mix of chickpeas and herbs, just like it should be!! The Pita is also phenomenal, definitely seems homemade. I love it when I can stop by and it's open... which brings me to my friendly suggestions, the hours are a wee bit unpredictable which I understand but I just love the falafel so much I want it all the time.
