Viva! Vegetarain Grill is a wonderful all vegan food truck in Eugene. Friendly staff works here. I went with the tempeh burrito. This comes with grilled tempeh, housemaid organic chili, cilantro-lime slaw, salsa, and a vegan cheese sauce all wrapped in a large whole wheat flour tortilla. I thoroughly enjoyed the burrito. It hit the spot! They have some outdoor seating near the food truck. Other options on the menu include housemate chili, falafel, vegan cheesesteak, tempeh tacos, sweet potato fries, polish soy sage, and several more options. Recommended if in Eugene to stop and get a bite.

Eugene, OR has a handful of vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurants, and this is one of them. It's a quaint vegan food truck located in the parking lot next to Claim 52 Brewery on Willamette St. (near the Ta Ra Rin downtown location). Their menu has a large range of various vegan options, from tempeh satay, hotdogs, a vegan Philly cheesesteak, to tacos and even vegan soft-serve. My last visit consisted of the falafel wrap & side of fries. The falafel wrap was a hefty portion size, and was jam packed with falafel, veggies, and vegan tzatziki sauce. The fries were crispy & fresh and paired perfectly with their fry sauce. I highly recommend checking this local spot out, but do be warned, they have funky hours. Check their website eugenecooks.com for updates on their menu and hours, delivery options, and discounts. As of now they are open 11:00am-5:00pm Monday through Saturday. For more photos and reviews, check out my food IG, @sammychews!

This place has good vegetarian food, good customer service, and it tasted very good. It's a food stand, so don't expect major ambiance. I liked how the falafel was not too dry, and it had nice cucumbers and nice salad to go with it. The sauces tasted good as well. Great spot for vegetarian/vegan food.

Really solid spot for a quick bite to eat! I like the philly cheesesteak, rueben, chili cheese fries and the soft serve.

Best falafel I've ever had :D a little messy, but not dry AT ALL, and so so good. 100% worth the mess, just grab napkins :)

So happy to have found this little gem! With a very unassuming exterior, the food that comes from this place is out of this world! The gentleman working the grill was so nice. The Rueben was one of the best vegan Rueben's that I have ever had, a generous portion of sauerkraut with grilled tempeh on delicious bread. My hubby's BBQ sandwich looked amazing and I'm told he's ready to go back again! Parking is easy across the street or in the adjacent lot if you come by car. Order at the window and either take out or sit in the outside chairs.

It's strange that more people don't know about this cute little cart, especially since it's on Willamette. I usually park at Chase and then walk over (shhh) but there's also a parking lot behind it. This is the perfect place to take carnies because the food is not only out of this world, but it's also vegan. And not vegan in that granola-hippie-snorting-broccoli sort of way, but just in that stuff-your-face-and-not-get-fat way. And yes, you WILL stuff your face after your first bite of euphoria leaves your taste buds tingling. The vegan cheese steak always makes me do my happy dance! Don't contemplate the logistics of how cashew cheese tastes significantly better than the dairy kind, just come experience it yourself. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly (but limited, so be patient). Unfortunately, Viva! hours are short (11:00AM-4:00PM) so get here before they close. Your mouth, body, and wallet will thank you...and you might even find yourself doing a happy dance of your own.

Bottom to top, falafels tacos with coleslaw(if you eat bread you'll want the sandwich). Chili fries and pulled pork sandwich.

This is a great place for vegetarian food. You do not even know it's vegetarian. Their pulled pork sandwich is so good. The chili fries are a must. Their strawberry lemonade is amazing and the falafels are great. I opted fir the corn tortillas. They were a bit messy, but the taste was amazing. There is lots of yummy coleslaw with the falafels. You get two in each taco, or four in the sandwich. The service was very friendly as well.

With my dad being in town with me, the two of us decided to go on a late-night taco run. We went with a big order that included 2 carne asada tacos, 2 tacos campechanos, an asada burrito, and a chorizo breakfast burrito. Starting with the asada itself: it was just depressingly, woefully bland. The meat was crying out for any sort of seasoning. Somehow, though, this wasn't the worst part -- even more strikingly, it was clear that liquid smoke was likely used as well. If you've never tasted liquid smoke before, it's a horrible, powerfully artificial flavor that should go nowhere near any quality piece of meat. Color me thoroughly impressed if this was not the case here. The asada burrito had almost no asada in it, despite my dad requesting "double" meat. The chorizo had a strange aftertaste, not super pleasant. Furthermore, proper chorizo gives a bright punch of acidity, a stout kick of spice, and a rich unctuousness (aka: that sinful, I-hate-myself fattiness... you know the one) -- this had none of those things. Making a duo of the asada and chorizo in the tacos campechanos did not elevate either meat; it ended up kind of just being a tandem of sadness and regret. My dad -- who never, ever says anything bad about Mexican food -- may have put it best: "Yeah... this was pretty freakin' bad." I will say that the service was friendly and informative... I will always, always appreciate and recognize that in a business. The food, on the other hand, I'm sorry to say might have been the worst I have had to date as far as Mexican goes. I am hoping (praying!) that I find a go-to taco/burrito spot around these parts soon -- I may go certifiably insane if I don't.

They were open late night but food was horrible, should've just opted for an overpriced hot dog instead. Do not recommend the carne asada at ALL, maybe the other meat is okay but everything was super greasy as well, the tortillas full of grease, the torta unnecessarily greasy too. Everything was just terrible, don't recommend especially if you're hispanic and actually enjoy good tacos.

The little slice of lemon it came with was a great topper for it all too. I would definitely get it again! I also got the sparkling lavender lemonade and it was so so good. It was perfectly balanced and I couldn't stop drinking it. The food was all pretty affordable which I appreciated. Lunch and drinks for two people was about $35. They don't do tipping here, they actually pay their employees a livable wage which is fantastic. They have a pay it forward program you can donate cash to instead, it goes towards breakfast for people in need. The employees seemed happy and were very friendly.
