I love this place! I've been here a few times and love their vegan Philly cheesesteak. It's amazing to go somewhere and know I can eat anything on the menu. The sweet potato fries with the thousand island? Sauce was awesome, the falafel wrap I got a bite of was also super loaded and nice, the tempeh satay was interesting, I don't have anything (like a non vegan satay?) to compare it to. I was a little bummed it wasn't served on a stick, because that's more fun, but this was amazing. I still need to get around to trying their soft serve! My non vegan friend also loved everything :)) i feel like the Philly is my favorite, I think it may be seitan shreds? Aka it may not be gluten free, but I would check! It's up there with the vegan Philly I had ~from Philly~ :) I hope this place sticks around for a long time, it's a real gem. The chili cheese fries are divine, past me didn't get a picture or make a proper review but this is the spot! It's a food truck with nice outdoor seating next to it. Had to check out this food stand in downtown Eugene. It certainly wasn't much to look at, but the food was good to look at though. Viva! is a totally plant based operation, with everything being okay for vegans and vegetarians. A lot of the drinks and food are based on fast food. They may not be as fast and certainly are more expensive, but the prices aren't that bad compared to other places for this kind of stuff. Came at lunch and it wasn't busy. It's because it was still kind of early. There's not any indoor seating, just outside with a few tables. Basically this is a permanent food stand. Orders are placed at the window. It's about $7 for a milkshake. Of course these are made with plant milk, so it's not as fattening as the real stuff. Has a ton of food to choose from. It's about $8 for the Savory Italian Soysage. Good and filling. This has marinara and cashew sauce. A lot more to choose from. There's also burgers, fries, and more. Good place if wanting to get plant based versions of fast food. It's closed Sundays. The whole menu is okay for vegans and vegetarians. read more

This comes with grilled tempeh, housemaid organic chili, cilantro-lime slaw, salsa, and a vegan cheese sauce all wrapped in a large whole wheat flour tortilla. I thoroughly enjoyed the burrito. It hit the spot! They have some outdoor seating near the food truck. Other options on the menu include housemate chili, falafel, vegan cheesesteak, tempeh tacos, sweet potato fries, polish soy sage, and several more options. Eugene, OR has a handful of vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurants, and this is one of them. It's a quaint vegan food truck located in the parking lot next to Claim 52 Brewery on Willamette St. (near the Ta Ra Rin downtown location). Their menu has a large range of various vegan options, from tempeh satay, hotdogs, a vegan Philly cheesesteak, to tacos and even vegan soft-serve. My last visit consisted of the falafel wrap & side of fries. The falafel wrap was a hefty portion size, and was jam packed with falafel, veggies, and vegan tzatziki sauce. The fries were crispy & fresh and paired perfectly with their fry sauce. I highly recommend checking this local spot out, but do be warned, they have funky hours. This place has good vegetarian food, good customer service, and it tasted very good. It's a food stand, so don't expect major ambiance. The Rueben was one of the best vegan Rueben's that I have ever had, a generous portion of sauerkraut with grilled tempeh on delicious bread. It's strange that more people don't know about this cute little cart, especially since it's on Willamette. I usually park at Chase and then walk over (shhh) but there's also a parking lot behind it. This is the perfect place to take carnies because the food is not only out of this world, but it's also vegan. And not vegan in that granola-hippie-snorting-broccoli sort of way, but just in that stuff-your-face-and-not-get-fat way. And yes, you WILL stuff your face after your first bite of euphoria leaves your taste buds tingling. The vegan cheese steak always makes me do my happy dance! Don't contemplate the logistics of how cashew cheese tastes significantly better than the dairy kind, just come experience it yourself. Viva! is a fantastic food truck. We live in Portland and have eaten at a lot of the vegan places there. Viva was better than the vast majority of offerings in Portland. The person at the window was nice and helpful, the food came out quickly. We both had the Hickory Smoked BBQ rolls. They were delicious. They make their own seitan and shave it. It was so tender and it melt-in-your-mouth. Their fries were really good too and the fry sauce was great. The next time we are in Eugene we will stop here to eat. read more

This is a great place for vegetarian food. You do not even know it's vegetarian. Their pulled pork sandwich is so good. The chili fries are a must. Their strawberry lemonade is amazing and the falafels are great. I opted fir the corn tortillas. They were a bit messy, but the taste was amazing. There is lots of yummy coleslaw with the falafels. Trust me, I do not satisfy the craving with the real thing! BUT, when there's a place like this that lets me fly my freak colors I am here! Their menu is full of all those bad boys that I once adored but now have realized that they are not good for me. They can hurt me, and my heart deeply. However, her bad boys are only pretending. The menu items have no meat choices, but instead are full of goodnesses like you've never had. She's got your cheesesteak, reubens, hickory barbeque, and let's not forget sausage. A local Willamette street favorite, this neat little cart offers a variety of vegan "dogs" and an assortment of other takes on traditional grill food. Examples include items such as a vegan cheeseteak, tempeh reuben, or the TLC Strip 'N Dip (which tastes like chicken!). To beat the summer heat they also offer vegan soft serves, smoothies, and an outstanding organic lemonade. They also have rotating specials which keeps the menu fresh if you're wanting to try something new. During my most recent visit I gave their Polish Poysuage a shot. I found it to be decent in general, though a little lacking in flavor and texture. However, the abundance of caramelized onions included really accentuated the flavor made it a satisfying lunch. Viva! also offers a few different sauces to try out which can spice up the meal and take it in different directions depending on preference. I'd personally give the food about 3 stars, but because of the steadfast commitment to animal friendly options, great service, and the classic Eugene atmosphere - I'd easily bump that rating up in terms of an overall experience. read more

For me this was just OK. I had the Hickory Smoked BBQ sandwich. It was a lot of "veet" (vegetarian meet) in a sauce in a sandwich roll. Unfortunately the sauce didn't have enough bite and the flavor was muddled together. This blended flavor had only one note, which was average for a bbq flavor sauce. The fries were crispy and not very greasy but they were nothing special. Pre-cut frozen fries given a quick bath in oil and seasoned. The dipping sauces were nice and the addition of the mango habanaro sauce to the red sauce was a nice flavor punch. Honestly so delicious. I even take my friends and family who are not vegetarian here and they enjoy the Tempeh tacos a lot. I wish they had some beverages that were less pricey but if you do get the lemonade it is super good. My favorite is the polish soysage, I load it up with relish on top of the heaping pile of onions and saurkraut. The soysage is great because it doesnt try to resemble a meaty texture and embraces that its vegan, it tastes peppery and pretty good but I'm in it for those hot dog toppings that ive missed since going veggie. read more

MMMM this place was good!!! I love all vegan places like this and its so fun to support the local community. the gentleman working was very friendly and fast. We ordered the Rueben, the philly cheese stake, and the sweet potatoe chilli fries hahha yes I loved it all! it dangerously good and filling!! Although I will warn this is a messy sandwich but well worth it! Update: came back here a few days ago and tried the tacos and wow they were amazing and so much more filling than I thought they would be haha bf got the Philly since it looked so good last time he ate that fast so I'm sure loved it haha he also got the little teriyaki triangle pieces forgot what they're called bit they looked really good!
