Jade Dumping & Noodle House was good. We got the xiao long bao (not pictured) and the dan dan noodles. The noodles had good spice.

Wonderful cabbage pork dumplings. No wonder this place is so popular.

There are two Jade Dumplings I. Eugene run by the same owners. Both are fabulous. The downtown location has a bit more on the menu but you can't go wrong at either place. Great dumplings cooked to order, generous servings of soups and other specialties including a string bean dish to doe for. Our family loves these fine friendly locations. Always a great choice for an inexpensive lunch or an affordable get together with the kids or friends.

Fantastic! Hands down the best Chinese food in Eugene. We come to Eugene every year to visit family and I can't believe it took this long for us to discover this little spot. The dan dan noodles were very delicious - nice kick, bouncy, fresh, and with a generous amount of ground pork. Only $6.99 too! (Yes, it's a "side" noodle dish but restaurants typically over charge for it.) The pork xiao long bao was tasty as well - the skin was not too thick and it was juicy!! Exceeded my expectations. The crispy chicken with chilis was still good but our least favorite out of the 3. Flavor was good but the chicken could be crispier. Good portion size though! Comfort food with a bowl of rice. Small location but clean and cozy. Bathrooms require a key and outside the restaurant. Easy parking. Friendly service. We will be back!

Had some good Asian food at this place in Eugene that doesn't look like much. It has better food than how it looks thankfully. Jade Dumpling & Noodle House has a couple locations, including this one on Williamette. A lot of the typical Asian items to get here. There's also plenty of vegan and plant based options. By using the name of the place as a guide, we had an easier time making choices. It's a pretty big menu. They have dumplings and noodles, obviously. After that, just choose whether to get meaty or plant based. It's about $10 for the Vegetarian Dumplings. These are filled with Shepherd's Purse and shiitake mushrooms, and vermicelli. At the time they only had carryout. There was a good amount of dumplings and they were filled, and filling. Good stuff as far as dumplings. It's located on Williamette in College Hill. They are closed on Tuesdays.

Love coming here every time I'm in Eugene! The spicy wontons are my favorite. I have yet to try something on the menu that I haven't liked.

I live in Corvallis and the lack of asian food (or good food for that matter) is appalling. It was refreshing to come here after a hike at mt pisgah for some take out before returning to Corvallis. Would definitely come back here again. Simple food but delicious!!

Get the dan dan noodles and the spicy pork bao dumplings. Efficient menu, no frills environment. You can see the dumplings being made right when you walk in. Dan Dan noodles were less than $10 for a hearty bowl, and the dumplings were about $15 for 8.

On a road-trip from the San Francisco Bay Area to Portland, we stopped here in Eugene for some take-out. Having our Princess with us, we could only eat at restaurants with outdoor seating or find a place to park and munch. We ordered: Spicy Cold Chicken - 4 - pieces of chicken and cucumber swimming in a super flavorful chili sauce. I was disappointed that the chicken was not as tender as I had expected being that it was advertised as steamed chicken. Had it checked that mark, this dish was easily a 5. Pan-Fried Pork Bun - 5 - It took a few minutes to find a place to park and eat. Because of that, whatever soup that had been in the bun had been absorbed by the bun itself. In spite of that, this dish was tasty. House Noodles with Tomato and Eggs - 5 - This simple dish was amazingly delicious. Well-seasoned and perfectly portioned. It was absolutely perfect when we ate it hot and then again when we finished it cold. This is a place that we would definitely come to again and again to try all the flavors.

We wanted to try this location and was sorely disappointed. First there isn't even a hostess to take our name and inform us of a wait time. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! Instead they provide a notepad and a handwritten sign to put your name down. In the 15 minutes we stood around waiting for some shred of customer service we witnessed one guy walk in, grab a menu then was followed by his wife. When my wife confronted this guy and his wife she stated "they had reservations". THIS PLACE DOES NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS AND THERE WAS NO ONE TO STEP IN FOR THE 6 OTHER PARTIES BEFORE THIS COUPLE that had "RESERVATIONS". Clearly they don't give a shit about their customers and STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! I guess they feel they have enough business they don't need future customers but if they're so busy then why be so cheap as to not hire a host/hostess? Just bad business practice.

Only after we had already ordered did the same staff member inform us that the restaurant only allows service dogs and that we would need to remove our dog. This was extremely frustrating, as we had called in advance specifically to avoid this situation. If this was truly their policy, it should have been clearly communicated over the phone or at least before seating us--not after we had already committed to ordering food. As for the food, it was average and nothing memorable. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed the entire experience. We will not be returning.

I ordered Mapo, and it came with some steamed rice. I ordered it with Medium Heat, since this my first time here, and I have no idea what their spice levels are like. My Mapo had just the tiniest bit of spice... not much at all. I tried the chili oil that was on the table... and found it lacking in heat also, but flavor was ok. Mapo was decent... not very MA LA for those know the term... hardly any numbing Sichuan peppercorn in it that I could taste. So this is more of an Americanized version.... not the Chengdu version. Lots of sauce, and a good portion of tofu... enough that I brought over half home with me for later. Rice was ok... edges were kind of dry, so it was not super fresh. But I would eat here again... there are a lot of traditional Sichuanese dishes on the menu, and they even have meat skewers that I will have to try. Next time I will order HOT (extra Ma La)... and see if that does the job.

They do not have any hot tea, which would have been nice on a cold day. So I got a coke. I sat down and had to move... as the sun was coming in the window and blinding me where I sat. Other patrons came in and had to move also for that reason. They brought my food out and placed it on the table, which was nice. Portions were decent sized. The breaded chicken in my Sweet and Sour Chicken was mostly breading... very little chicken (see attached photo). Breading was not crispy at all... a bit mushy (I suspect they use pre-breaded chicken that was frozen, which is becoming more common... blech! Hard to make that crispy, unless double fried). The sweet and sour sauce was a little bitter... which I associate with pre-made (sysco? Not made in house) sauce. Very thin, overly sweet and a slight bitterness. Rice was ok... pretty good actually.
