My first time here and i will definitely be coming back! I would order the soup dumplings and pork spicy wontons, and a side of fried rice for the table super yummy!

I really like Mapo Tofu... and make it at home often. But occasionally when I get lazy, I will eat it at a restaurant. First time for Mapo at Jade Dumpling, and it was good! I ordered it with Sichuan Peppercorn (apparently you have to ask for it?) and medium spice. It was excellent... more flavor than some of the other local restaurants I have tried. This is a vegetarian version, although the traditional version has ground pork in it. Portion size was great too... got two meals out of it with my takeout. I would definitely order it again!

This will be a regular stop every time I'm in Eugene. We had spicy pork dumplings, cold cucumbers, pork dan dan noodles, and green beans. Very busy. Worth the wait which isn't that bad.

Not gonna lie, Eugene, Oregon does not have the greatest food scene. When I walked by this little dumpling shop, I knew I had to give it a shot, but I was definitely nervous. I love dumplings so much, and I am very picky with them. This place ended up exceeding every expectation. Everything was delicious and tasted genuinely authentic. The soup dumplings were perfect, steamy and full of flavor. The orange chicken was honestly the best orange chicken I have ever had. The fried rice did not need any sauce at all. The dumplings with the spicy sauce were incredible, and the dandan noodles were rich, flavorful and so satisfying. The inside is super cool, quaint and cozy. It has such a fun little atmosphere. Overall, I had a really yummy dinner here, and it is probably the best restaurant I have tried in Eugene so far. If you are in town and craving dim sum or noodles, this spot is a must. The food came out EXTREMELY fast. Like the service is so so quick it's amazing

Been around Eugene a few times and have experienced okay food at best, but Jade Dumpling hits it out of the park. Quite authentic Chinese food that's full of flavor. Attractively designed restaurant with rustic tea house feeling. Direct but friendly staff. Dan dan noodles - affordable, great flavor, a bit more peanutty but I like that Chili pork wontons - might have been my favorite. Generously filled with a lot of flavor. Chili is present but not overwhelming. Sweet and sour pork -Really flavorful but definitely get some rice on the side to balance out the flavor because on it's own, it can be overwhelming.

A group of us went for a birthday celebration dinner and couldn't have been happier. The service was awesome, friendly and truly made the experience. Food came out quickly and was flavorful, hot and portions were great for sharing. If it's a birthday you just let them know...the birthday song is delightful and sure to bring attention.

Good option for solid Chinese food in Eugene. We ordered the following: House Noodle with Tomato and Egg - Hearty and classic dish reminding you of home - Noodles were very bouncy with the right amount of chew. Definitely tasted hand made in a good way - A LOT of eggs were used for sure, probably 3-4. They did NOT skimp General Tso's Chicken - Nice and crispy - Chicken inside the breading was a little on the smaller side - Decent portion size Port Wontons with Spicey Sauce - The spicey sauce was basically their chili oil - Wonton wrappers were not too thick or thin, perfect amount of chew - Very well handmade and did not fall apart - Pork filling had a bit of soup in it which was a nice surprise - A bit on the salty side Dan Dan Noodles - Smaller portion but to be expected for $8 - works as a good appetizer - Good spice level - Moist/oily noodles - not dry at all Overall, this is a solid place for some handmade quality noodles and dumplings. Big fan of the tomato egg house noodles. Excited to return to try the soup dumplings.

Fried rice. Dumpling, green beans short ribs fumbling I can get the same mean at Chinns for 1/2 the price.

Very pretty but the serve was poor the employees were robotic no smiles. I felt unwelcome. Fried rice was soul foodish. It's there opening month. Perhaps they were nervous. Go see for yourself I give 5 stars because they are new

After Bao Bao, had pretty high expectations of Asian cuisine in Eugene. Unfortunately, had a very average experience at Jade Dumpling - we ordered the Xiao Long Bao = good but not enough filling, very small shrimp wontons = best thing we had here, only ruined by an overly salty broth Meatlovers fried rice = remember the generic Chinese fried rice you had as a kid? For $20, this was exactly that. Service was excellent, food just didn't meet the bar unfortunately. All in all, worth trying once just won't be returning.

We came in with a group of 12 on a Sunday afternoon and they sat us almost immediately. One of my favorite things is that right when you walk in you can see them making the dumplings. Of course we had to try those which were delicious. We family styled the rest of the dishes. The menu has tons of options so it was hard to narrow it down at first. On our end of the table we decided on a chicken stir fried noodle dish, broccoli beef, both the jalapeno chicken and the chili pepper chicken. Everything was delicious. The spicy dishes definitely had a kick to them but my friends who like spicy enjoyed it. I loved the broccoli beef and can't wait to come back to try other things on the menu!

WOW! This was the best dumpling spot I've been to! My mouth still waters and the spread ordered. Shrimp shumai, pan fried pork buns, spicy dry beef, green beans and soup dumplings! Everything was full of flavor, not just full of- BURSTING with flavor. This helping was shares between two and was the perfect amount of food.

Loved this spot! A great handmade noodle/dumpling Sichuan house, conveniently located in the 5th St. Market area. Everything was flavorful, generously portioned, and just so delicious. I came back twice throughout my trip because it was so good! You can order online or over the phone for takeout, or show up for a table. Service is quick and casual. Menu has great variety of noodles, dumplings, soups, apps, and entrees. We loved everything we ordered! FOOD RATINGS: - Pork soup dumplings (5/5) - Pork and shrimp dumplings (5/5) - Vegetable dumplings (3/5) - Dan Dan noodles (5/5) - Mapo tofu (5/5) - Spicy boiled fish (4/5)

I've walked by this place tons of times but never went in. It's Chinese food, and this lady's making dumplings right there--fresh dumplings gotta be good, right? We tried a bunch of stuff: spicy fish, grandma's ribs with green beans, pork dumplings, pan-fried buns, and zhajiang noodles--all amazing! We're totally going back.

I always find that Asian food hits the spot when I'm really hungry, so I looked online for a place that "the locals" rated highly and I came across "Jade Dumpling and Noodles" on Willamette. Let me just say that the fine people of Eugene didn't steer me wrong! My oldest son loves dumplings and I love noodles (really any type of Asian food), so this place was a gem! We ordered 3 different kinds of dumplings, shrimp, pork and a spicy pork and they were All Delicious! These "soup dumplings" were small and bite sized but were packed with huge savory flavors! They are made right there and are amazing! I myself had the mixed noodles. House made noodles with beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables, stir fried in a delicious lite sauce, that enhanced the flavors of the dish, without overpowering it. You could taste all the ingredients and they were fresh and delicious! I cleaned the plate and now I can't wait to return to Jade Dumplings and Noodles again and try their other dishes, that I know will be tasty! The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, all in all, a Great dining experience! Try them out and you'll be hooked on them, just like I am now!!!

There was a strong odor of burned cooking oil that was off putting. The lady at the counter was friendly, and took my order quickly. They do not have any hot tea, which would have been nice on a cold day. So I got a coke. I sat down and had to move... as the sun was coming in the window and blinding me where I sat. Other patrons came in and had to move also for that reason. They brought my food out and placed it on the table, which was nice. Portions were decent sized. The breaded chicken in my Sweet and Sour Chicken was mostly breading... very little chicken (see attached photo). Breading was not crispy at all... a bit mushy (I suspect they use pre-breaded chicken that was frozen, which is becoming more common... blech! Hard to make that crispy, unless double fried). The sweet and sour sauce was a little bitter... which I associate with pre-made (sysco? Not made in house) sauce. Very thin, overly sweet and a slight bitterness. Rice was ok... pretty good actually. Some might say I am too picky? But with the meal, a coke, and a tip... this was over $20... and there are other places that do this meal better for about the same price.
