We found this place by a random google search. We had no idea it's been here for 3 years!! We went for the soft-serve ice cream and it is so heavenly!! I had the peanut butter with chocolate sauce and my wife had vanilla bean with mint chocolate sauce. Both were amazing, but the peanut butter was the best I've ever had. One of the owners also gave us a sample if the blueberry pie smoothy which was creamy and delicious. We talked to big owners and they are so kind and sweet. They were busy and running out of food, even though they said they double-prepped. The chef-owner pointed to items they could still make and I went with the mango tostada (which is what I originally wanted!). My mom got the last soft-serve nice cream and got the strawberry/raspberry swirled with vanilla bean. The owner brought out my tostadas and a small bowl of the Coconut Kung Pao to try. What a treat to get to sample something! The coconut meat was "breaded" and served over zucchini noodles and veggies with a sweet teriyaki sauce and peanuts. He added chile flakes, which he said he could leave out if someone didn't want it spicy. It was really good and I might get it next time. My tostadas really hit the spot that day. They were topped with cucumbers, onion, mango, avocado slices, and a cashew sauce. The tostadas themselves held up pretty well and the flavor was great. Very fresh tasting. The nice cream was also fantastic. The swirl was the way to go. The vanilla bean made the fruit nice cream more creamy. Fancy a fresh and light lunch to carry you through the day feeling great? The Coco Nut has a lot to offer even with a more curated menu. I tried the dragon roll, which was absolutely delicious with a variety of veggies and avocado wrapped in collard greens and topped with two sauce, sesame and teriyaki. I was definitely trying to sop up every last bit of sauce on the plate with every "sushi" bite. Next I went for the soft serve. They change the flavors daily but it's usually vanilla, chocolate, strawberry or some other fruit. On my day it was a peppermint vanilla which was just great for me because I love mint ice cream. They have a ton of toppings to choose from to truly make it your own. I chose the cookie pieces and she offered a sample of the coconut whipped cream too. I was expecting something similar to cocowhip but it was actually much thicker and creamier, and not as sweet. It paired really nicely with the sweet soft serve and cookie pieces, which were made from oats and chocolate. I decided to hang around for a while and get some work done on my laptop. They provided the wifi password and had plug ins. It's a very casual environment. While I worked I had the opportunity to sample a few of their smoothies too and each one was delicious! I definitely saw a lot of customers stopping in for the smoothies and soft serve while I was there. So even if vegan food isn't your thing, maybe sweet treats are! I love love love love love the Coco Nut. This might be my favorite spot to get smoothies since they are more located in my neck of the woods. Their overall mission is to serve organic, raw, vegan food and they are so good! While I waited for this order I sampled their soft serve and it was incredible! Looking forward to ordering that in the future. Eventually, I would love to try everything on the menu. But they are a bit pricey due to their goal of serving nothing but the healthiest of options. So The Coco Nut will have to be the place where I treat myself to a big lunch occasionally. However, their smoothies and juices are reasonable. This place is now my new favorite lunch spot. I discovered this place about two weeks ago and have gone back 5 times for lunch since. My go to smoothie- Chocolate Cherry Smoothie My go to Meal- I LOVED the sushi but everything is good! At the very least you HAVE to try the Kale chips and soft serve. I love that there is a spot 10 minutes away from my work that I can get lunch and still feel energized/healthy all day. Even my friend who doesn't like coconut loved this place! The two that run this place are always so genuinely kind. My only complaint is they aren't open 24/7 so I can have breakfast, lunch and dinner here. This is my favorite place to go for amazing, delicious, nutritious and creative raw and vegan food. It doesn't get better than this! The chef owners create their daily changing specials and I have loved everything I have ordered. Their homemade kale chips are the best I have ever had and by request they have made some extra spicy for me. The daily changing desserts are decadent and delicious, bursting with flavor and always so fresh! They also have homemade frozen soft serve that you can add many creative toppings to, such as fresh fruit or brownie bites, that are oh so good! They serve daily dessert specials, and goodies such as cookies, crackers, kale chips and homemade chocolates for take out. All that plus a great menu for fresh healthy fruit and veggie smoothies.
