Laughing Planet - Korean BBQ Bowl - Salad Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

Not as good as I remembered from 20 years ago when we frequented Laughing Planet on our trips to Eugene to visit our daughter at U of O. Not bad- but not great. read more

I've been eating here since I was a kid. It is always a solid choice. I love their healthy wraps their balls in the smoothies.

I wanted a salad for dinner and this place peaked my interest. Very good choice on my part. The menu is big and the selection is plentiful and the prices are very fair. I have never had sumac before and the gal taking the order got me a sample to try. It was uniquely tasty so I ordered the kale sumac salad. Very good choice on my part. It was delicious! I also ordered the Bollywood bowl because I just love Indian yellow curry. That was also a very good choice on my part. As much as I wanted to order the massive cookies, I just didn't have any room. To summarize, make a very good choice on YOUR part and come try this restaurant. Parking is provided by lot. Indoor seating. Casual. Great service. read more

Caesar salad hit the spot! The dressing was more mild than I prefer but it's still a staple and grateful when I'm traveling to have a healthy option. The burrito bowl my friend got looked really good, too. read more

Amazing!!! Stopped in on a road trip. We are vegan so it's always such a treat to find GOOD QUALITY VEGAN FOOD!! Laughing Planet was a winner. The young man that waited on us was super kind and greeted us with a big smile. I had the Thai Bowl with jasmine rice. My hubby had the Harvest Bowl. We also shared a bowl of vegan chili soup. All were made to perfection!! Inside and outside dining areas. We sat outside. It was pleasant. Make this a MUST STOP when passing through Eugene!! read more

Laughing Planet is a great little restaurant, one of the first I frequented in Eugene. They have low prices and a great kids menu. Right now, Laughing Planet is one of several restaurants in Eugene that are giving free meals to those of us who lost our SNAP benefits to to our greedy unlawful president. I work 50+ hours a week self-employed at 3 jobs in the music industry, hustle like crazy to support my daughter, and barely make it by even with the SNAP benefits. I encourage those who need help to stop here for a meal- don't forget to leave a 5-star review for their kindness. Equally encourage those who don't need help right now to stop in and support business thaf care read more

Took my family here to eat. The employees were nice but unfortunately the food was off the mark. I ordered the Thai bowl and it was overly acidic and spicy. Was like eating pure tang. My kids did enjoy their burritos. What concerned me more was there was an individual absolutely spun on meth who kept coming in and out of a store. My work very closely revolves around such people, and they are absolutely unpredictable. This person also was handling all of the water cups that are left out for the customer. Disgusting. Staff never addressed this and was super casual and okay with it. Eventually this dude left the store and a tweaker female came in to use the restroom. Apparently this is normal? If it were my establishment, I would have immediately told them to leave. I'm forgiving with the sub-par food, but I will never take my family here again. Not safe. read more

Laughing Planet is a favorite in our neighborhood and we get take-out there a lot. I usually order their Cheese and Pico quesadilla. Several times recently I have gotten home with our order only to find a very small layer of cheese on it, some of the tortilla without any at all. I recently asked them about this and was told that they had been told to cut back on the cheese on their menu items. I can understand doing that on an item that has other ingredients, like a burrito with beans, etc. But one expects a normal amount of cheese on a "cheese" quesadilla that only has pico with it. I probably won't order that item from them again. read more

I walked in at 7:11pm. They close at 8:00pm. I tried to order a quesadilla. She tells me they don't have quesadillas for tonight. I look over at the kitchen and dude is covering a tortilla in cheese. Maybe they had already turned off the grill? Is 45 minutes before close really too late to expect menu items to be available at a counter service restaurant? read more

Just love this place. Cool vibe, great food, friendly service. Awesome vegan and gluten free options make it a go-to for us when we roll through Eugene. read more

been ordering form laughing plant for years and just had one of the worst burritos from them. I always order the bubba burrito, it was half the size it usually is and missing the beans. I'm sad more than anything, I was craving the burrito for days read more

Great, fresh food that's tasty, nutritious, and wonderful! And if you're traveling, it doesn't weigh you down. Fast, friendly service, too. We've twice split a Zappatista Salad and SW Chile Burrito on road trips traveling through Eugene. Perfect! read more

Laughing planet has something for everyone. Wether you are gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, or none of that you will find something you like. They have a lot of Mexican inspired food. Tacos, burritos, appetizers, and more. They also have bowls and salads. We got the Bollywood bowl and a smoothie. The bowl had rice, broccoli, sweet potatoes, chicken, and more. It was super nutritious and filling. You will feel good after eating here. read more

Beautiful lighting. Can all restaurants please have lighting this thoughtful? Thx. I got a tofu Autumn bento and it was a delightful pile of perfectly seasoned vegetables over rice with an amazing sesame miso dressing. It was everything I needed in that moment and I loved it from start to finish. I wish there was a Laughing Planet where I live, but alas. There is not. read more

We've eaten at Laughjng Planet in Eugene and Vancouver. Great vegetarian choices, burritos, salads and entrees. Fast service and tasty food. read more

Staff was very nice, food is pretty reasonably priced, and I love that they have a symbol for vegan food on their menu! I often avoid going out to eat because I don't want to bother staff, but this made ordering so much easier. The seating area is also very nice and has cute little figurines, murals, and posters. Definitely recommend! I'm sure I'll be back :) read more

I got the Kbbq bowl with tofu and there was hardly any rice or tofu. and the bbq sauce is more like a sour spicy sauce.. not "bbq". as you can see in the photo it's just a big soupy bowl of water. It tasted microwaved and comes with wayyyy too much coleslaw. This is more like a coleslaw salad with some hot water at the bottom. Not a fan at all... wasn't what i was expecting. to say the least. read more

Amazing!!! I has the best vegan burrito I've ever had... it was huge and one would never know it was meat and dairy free. Made to perfection. read more

Thanks for offering vegan options! Delicious place! Great atmosphere too and fast service.

Bollywood bowl was good. Healthy, tasty, and filling. Service was nice but rather slow, as it took maybe 15 minutes for my bowl to be ready. That's quite slow for a casual fast food (I'm assuming) place, but at least, it means the meat was served warm and fresh. read more

Absolutely phenomenal food and fast service. Such an extensive, creative and deliciously healthy menu. The only drawback was that the girl behind the counter was a little grumpy. Maybe she wasn't having a good day, but everyone in my group loved their food. read more

Great clean eating and healthy menu! The bowls are wonderful. We are fortunate to have them in town.

How dare you... You don't understand what you've done.. taking away such a glorious, comforting, and supportive menu item known only as the "spankys bowl" Now this may no effect you the way this deeply and personally hurts my being, but make no mistake the world is now a worse place. The spankys bowl (RIP) had brought me incredulous amounts of joy and prosperity for over of my lifetime, but now my life no purpose.. I'm beside myself with grief and will need the next 30 business days to process this request.. thank you Ps for real why'd you take it from me read more

If the place had been a tad cleaner, I would have gladly given another star or two. Service and food were great. I recommend the pork burrito and mango smoothie. Parking area is a cluster f*cm, so be mindful when entering or leaving the lot in your vehicle. read more

Super good. Clean, nice, good attention to detail for food allergies. We'd come again! Health conscious.

The best food and service, great choices for vegetarian/vegan food. Their "Comfort Bowl" is a delicious mix of rice, black beans in a creamy sauce that definitely lives up to its name - pure comfort and healthy. Service is always friendly too! read more

Terrible, terrible service. Laughing Planet (at all locations) is the only place to consistently mess up orders - all while serving mediocre food in a poorly designed location. Do not go here. read more

I was on a somewhat spontaneous road trip and we got hungry, so I whipped out my iPhone and did a Yelp search for vegan options near-by. The promise of burritos sounded wonderful, so we chose to head on over to Laughing Planet. (We were both pleasantly surprised to discover Eugene had a good number of vegan options!) We were both intrigued by the mention of plantains and sweet potatoes in the Che Guevara burrito, so we got two of those $4.95 burritos. (Good price, I think!) They were a little spicier than expected and definitely delicious. I could have easily consumed a few of The Farm-Boy Tim smoothies. They were delicious! I love fruit and this smoothie had plenty of it, so I think it was hard to go wrong with that smoothie option (or most any other). We loved their compostable straws and that they care about sustainable practices. The only weird part was when someone (a staff member? a random person?) placed a dinosaur toy on our table for a little while and later someone else asked if they could take it. I understand having toys available for kids to play with at a family-friend joint, but randomly placing it on someones table seemed really odd. For a little while we wondered if we were out of the loop on some kind of ongoing game at the restaurant... read more

$10.75 for a burrito and a fancy, healthy juice. I was surprised by how good this place was... and friendly, and fast, and filling! They had multiple hot sauce options, including my favorite: tapatio! But after asking for the medium salsa on the side, I regretted not keeping it in there because it was might tasty. I would've taken some home if I had been allowed to do so. The juice is why I didn't give Laughing Planet 5 stars. It wasn't horrible by any means; I just didn't fall in love with wit what I ordered. It was a cucumber, apple, kale, ginger, lemon juice. More ginger and lemon than anything else. Spicy and too foamy. I tried the chicken burrito with pinto beans, chicken, brown rice, jack cheese, and pico de gallo on a wheat tortilla. I was told that this is one of their stars, and it did not let me down. On my way out, I saw someone had the quesadilla and that looked good too. Parking is really easy because there's a lot. Though I was hesitant to try it, I would DEFINITELY recommend Laughing Planet :) read more

It's a bummer to have such a cool atmosphere, good food but the absolute worst service possible! The girl at the front needs a new job. She seems miserable with her life. Definitely won't be back! read more

I want to start with saying that the food is EXCELLENT. But as prices went up the portions got smaller and I started coming less often. I don't mind paying $15 for a bowl, plus $8 on a smoothie, but I'm NOT ok paying that for a LITERAL half bowl of food, and a smoothie with chunks and strings in it. For $23 I should NOT LEAVE HUNGRY. C'mon guys! It's fine to charge more, but you're at that point of needing to order two meals. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. read more

My husband and I were a little underwhelmed. We have heard really good things but what we got wasn't amazing! We are thankful for a place for us to get easy vegan/veggie items though.
