I am so happy! I saw this yesterday on one of my walkabouts. LOL! It looks like Poppi' is coming to 5th street in October I believe! It will be in the Old Sushi pure/ Pho King store on the second floor with street side entrance and inside entrance close to the Elevator for those who need an elevator lift. I love Poppi's food. It's delicious! Give it a try.

I was downtown for the Saturday Market today... but also planned on stopping by a certain food truck I have been wanting to try. Food truck was supposed to open today at 12:30... but nobody ever showed up. So went down the street to Poppi's! And I am glad I did... greeted when I walked in, and was told to grab any open seat. Server showed up quickly with water (it was hot and sunny outside and I needed it, lol!)... and a menu. I chose to keep it light and simple and ordered the Gyro Pita. It was delicious... and had a fair amount of meat, and the Pita was perfect! Staff was great... and I love the atmosphere too.

The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Please be aware that street parking is required and may involve a fee. The restaurant is somewhat small, so depending on the day and time of your visit, you may experience a wait for a table. Their menu is quite extensive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, including two daily specials and a couple of appetizers to share. We found their mango lassies to be more tart and yogurt-forward than mango-flavored.

Stewed chicken special - A baked dish garnished with microgreens is presented on a decorative plate with a black and yellow geometric pattern. The dish appears to contain vegetables and possibly meat or grains. A small side salad with sliced cucumbers, tomato wedges, and a black olive is placed on a white plate behind the main dish. A tall glass of water is positioned to the right of the plates on a wooden table.

Very quaint Middle-eastern/Indian restaurant that's been in downtown Eugene seems like forever. Prices for dinner come to about $25-$40/each so sort of a special dinner place. Flavors are strong, portions are less so. There are better Middle-eastern eateries and also better Indian diners in Eugene/Springfield so Poppi's works for those groups who can't decide or wanna try 2 cuisines. Good service and cozy yet sort of noisy setting make for an enjoyable meal. Truly eclectic in every which way.

Gyros - A person, wearing a blue and yellow patterned jacket, holds a gyro sandwich filled with fresh vegetables such as lettuce, tomato, and cucumber, along with meat, wrapped in paper. The sandwich is presented over a metal plate with a small pickled pepper. The setting appears to be a restaurant or casual dining area with wooden tables.

Fresh Greek food, well prepared. I had the salad with Gyro meat added a Julie had a Gyro. So full! Servers and the space are awesome! Love this place!

. - The image shows a restaurant table with Greek and Indian dishes, including a seafood dish with vegetables and herbs, and a plate of rice with roasted peppers. There are drinks, including a glass of orange-colored beverage and a bottle of white wine, along with a pumpkin on the table. The background reveals a bar area with bottles and a bartender, indicating an indoor dining environment.

Marvelous dinning at Poppi's new 5th St Market location. Sunday is "Greek Menu Nite" - chock full of Greek culinary classics & specialties. TOTAL YUMM!!!!! Reservations a must if you go on Sunday! Ambiance- crisp, unpretentious decor; lots of tables, and small bar with seating. Utterly delicious food- be prepared to wait if restaurant is swamped. Worth it!

Lavender Lemon Drop - A lemon drop cocktail is served in a stemmed glass with a salted rim and a lemon wedge on the edge. The drink appears clear or light-colored, and the glass is placed on a wooden table. The background is slightly blurred, showing a casual dining or bar setting.

From seeing Yelp reviews, my daughter chose this restaurant for my bday dinner. All in all a good experience. Our server was sweet. The service however was slow. I absolutely loved the spanakopita and the hummus. The lavender lemon drop was delicious however extremely tiny- consumed in only 3 sips. The potatoes in tomato sauce were quite unremarkable. It was an eclectic yet noisy interior. If in town again I'd stop by for the spanakopita.

So warm and inviting on a cold winter's day. - A man with glasses and a beard, wearing a red jacket over a white shirt, is seated at a wooden table inside a restaurant. The interior features wooden beams, string lights, and large windows allowing natural light. Other patrons are visible in the background, seated at tables along the wall, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

First of all, we are trying to eat clean these days, and chose Poppi's Anatolia in hopes of a good protein with vegetables. The roast chicken was absolutely delicious!!! So was the Mediterranean salad. We didn't have anything else, but if you are looking for warm and flavorful cooking that makes you feel like you are sitting right in the middle of a Greek mama's kitchen, this is the one!

Mid-Mediterranean and slow service. They forgot part of my gyro and I had to check in three times.

Quality of food was marginal. Service was good. I've definitely had better Mediterranean food.

Sadly this trip was a while ago and now I can't remember what we ate, but I do know, it was HOT upon presentation, authentic and plentiful. If you are ever seeking a good middle eastern meal, are in the area, I so run don't walk to this restaurant.

Knowing they closed at 8 we didn't know what to expect. We were actually greeted immediately upon entering and she seated us. There were two other parties there at that time. A table of 6 with a toddler and a party of four. We ordered the drink special, a Mai Tai, which was strong and so refreshing. Hubby said his iced tea was really good too. (Sometime it tastes like it was brewed yesterday. You know what I mean.) The menu is greek inspired of course. And we wanted to try it all. I love that there is an appetizer that introduces samples of many choices. I'll get that next time. Because this time, we opted for the Olympian, which included lots of our favorites. Pork kabobs, shrimp kabobs (yum),pastisio, and mousaka. Normally, served over rice, she actually gave us an upgrade to Greek pasta which was delicious. The meal came with a salad to split, and we finished off with baklava of course. I can't tell you how delicious the meal was. The fresh pita bread ...I couldnt get enough of it. Dipped in the salad dressing ....I was in heaven. Wish I hadn't eaten so much, since the meal had a ton of food. I'm not a fan of lamb, but the mousaka was pretty tasty. It wasn't as gamey as I expected and I found it actually something I might order again. The shrimp kabobs were on point, as well as the pastistio. The pasta was creamy and perfect. I guess there's an uncharged normally for it but I think at any price it would be worth it. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had what we needed. The vibe was cute, and made to appear like you were in Santorini, with huge floor to ceiling wall murals. It was nice and relaxing. A great experience. I definitely recommend this place and, I'm happy to say it looks like we might have found "our place".
