We made a quick stop here on our way to Portland and we did not regret it. It was a small restaurant that was super clean and very well maintained with smiling staff. We were greeted pretty well and our order came in pretty quickly too. The malai kofta and onion kulcha exceeded our expectations and the masala tea is a must. We love the Taste of India. Our son is a UO freshman, and we try to go here regularly when we come visit. The folks who run this restaurant are the absolute friendliest, with excellent service. We had this place recommended by some of our Indian friends, and it did not disappoint. My chicken curry was really flavorful. I got the mild this time, but will probably get medium spice next time. My wife's shahi paneer was also really good. It was creamy and smooth. We also had the paneer naan and the garlic naan, both of which paired well with both of our dishes. I'll probably pass on the paneer naan next time, but it was worth trying. I just love garlic too much! We ordered to go. There's no indoor seating, but they have a nice deck with a few tables, so I'm looking forward to coming when the weather is nicer. It was decently pricey ($41 for our meal), but I know that our love for good Indian food will bring us back again soon. read more

I'll admit, this review is a bit biased from the nostalgia of eating at their old location almost weekly when I was in high school, but since then I have been to well reviewed Indian restaurants in cities around the world, including London, Los Angeles, Dubai and Singapore... While visiting Oregon this was close to our hotel. The night we reached here, thought to try but they close at 9pm and we called them at 8:57 pm. Hence, next day after our trip to silver falls we ordered on the phone and picked up food. It's a small place, due to covid it's a take out service only but you can eat outside at the sit down place. It seems like a family restaurant husband and wife working at this place. Our food was plain naan, chicken Tikka masala, chicken biryani and mango lassi. Food was delicious and thanks to the hotel for having a fridge as we saved the left over and ate next day as well. Great service, great taste what else you need in this difficult time. read more

We were starving after a long home renovation project and opted to try this place. I love the metal cafeteria style trays that they use! We ordered the lamb korma, vegetable thali, and chicken tikka masala. We added garlic naan and paneer naan and mango lassi. We were blown away by the flavor of everything. Each dish was amazing and had us making too many sound effects than was normal The lamb korma and chicken tikka masala had amazingly creamy and rich flavors. I salivate thinking about it. The vegetable thali plate is perfect for the person who wants to try a little bit of everything. It has several dishes on it as well as regular naan and dessert. After waiting for a decent amount of time, I got my food and came home to dig in (there isn't any seating inside the restaurant). Overall, it was pretty good, but the dish felt a little bit dry. I always recommend the set meals but the a la carte curries are such an incredible deal that it's hard to choose.
