Very nice wine reception! The salmon, wine and cheese were yummy. Lots of space. Would come again

Cute little spot! I'm not a big wine drinker but the lady who helped was so patient and kind ! She gave us two wines to taste , both of them were pretty good and something I would drink . She asked what we planned on ordering from the food trucks and paired us a wine that went perfect with our meal . We also got their bread with oil and balsamic which didn't disappoint.

    Pinot Gris and pizza.

The three day a week addition of the terrific pizza truck really takes this comfortable wine bar up a notch. The outdoor tented area is also very special. Decorated to use space to make sipping wine and enjoying your dinner and snacks feel like you are away from it all in a very special place. The wine is fine. The pizza is too. I suggest the Pinot Gris and the Bianca pizza. A very nice spot to enjoy the evening with great neighborly service.

Sadly this was the first time I had visited Capitello. Happily, it will certainly not be my last. What a great establishment with an equally great location right off 5th St. Service was friendly and efficient, and they offer a wide selection of wines. Owner and founder Ray Walsh used to be a wine producer for King Estate, so it's safe to say he knows what he's doing. I also really like how Capitello infuses Walsh's New Zealand roots and influence into some of their wines. It's different and should be something valued here in little ole Eugene. When COVID passes this makes for a great place to get together with friends and family. They also currently have some outdoor seating as well. I highly recommend this place, and while it's difficult for great wine to separate itself given our area, don't let this place go unnoticed!

    Sauvignon Blanc at its finest!

Such a truly wonderful evening filled with good food, excellent wine, and the best company! The Valentines Asian inspired Cooking Demonstration class with Keith was amazing and everything tasted incredible. The wine pairings with each course could not have been any better! The owners and staff were incredible! Tevin in particular was outstanding! We can't wait to go back!

    Fabulously tasting room.

I don't go to tasting rooms very often, because I don't like the "sales pitch" as part of the process of trying something new. This was a fabulous experience and the wines, both red and white we smooth and had depth to them. Ray, the winemaker truly is a skilled winemaker. Great tasting room as well in Eugene. Highly recommend this place for a visit.

This was the very first winery visit for me in Oregon. I love that they have food trucks right next to them. Their tent set up is awesome especially in good weather and adds to the atmosphere. It was a bit windy on the day I visited but they offered blankets to their guests. Great price point for their wine. I ordered their Syrah Rogue Valley and fell in love! If I didn't just flew here with a carry on, I definitely would get a bottle and bring it back home with me.

I had my first wine flight today because I typically get a beer flight. Alesong is about the beer, but the wine flight was really good. But for me most of their styles aren't to my taste so I haven't tried many more than the stouts. Visiting their brewery is a unique experience, and if you appreciate beer, wine, food, or farm-to-table initiatives, this is a must-visit. It's located outside of Eugene, a worthwhile and beautiful drive through farms and wineries. The brewery is in a field overlooking more; amazing big skies and plants all around. The house has a number of tables with a small bar and big windows/doors that can open during the nice parts of the year. They also have a lot of outdoor seating, including a tent and warmers for the colder months. We were there on a weekday around lunchtime so it wasn't busy. Immediately the bartender was welcoming and quick to get us going, including talking us through the menu. We ordered pretty much the entire menu of food, that rotates as produce is available. The kitchen is a separate trailer building outside and it was fun to watch them get ready for later meals that day. We shared a bit of everything, which was fun. A memorable experience was the truffle farmer bringing one in he just found the size of a softball, which they then shaved over the fish dish. Their beers are wild fermented, then blended in a similar process to some wines. I enjoyed branching out with different fruited varieties, plus stouts and rare variants. Their tasting boards are beautifully done as well. The beer competition medals are proudly displayed with their merchandise, they also have a large selection of bottled beers to go. I bought a bottle of peppermint stout to share at home, which was wonderful and it was worth the effort. Prices are reasonable for the terroir of the food and beer, it's worth it to spend a little more than miss out. The bartender also took us on a tour, explained how they blended. It was a wonderful memory and Alesong will always be one of those special breweries for me.

I sure missed out on a lot. Their event was made extra special by the staff, as they were all knowledgeable and well-versed in the food and wine pairings that were offered at this event. I was particularly impressed as to how they were keeping the bottles of white wine cold by using ice that they had frozen flowers in. It was a beautiful presentation. There was a brick oven pizza set up and the pizzas were delicious. I am not sure if they are there all the time or because this was a special event. The wines are on point with each presentation and the outside area is spectacular. The inside area can hold a lot of people, especially on rainy days and very nicely decorated with lots of large windows. I can hardly wait to go back there again when all of the roses around the outside patio area are in Bloom! I will be bringing my small senior dog next time I visit their winery as they are dog friendly.

We went on a Sunday and did not have reservations and our group of 4 were able to be seated right away. Two of us did the red flight and one did the white while our driver sipped a coke. We had the Mediterranean plate and I would not recommend it, however the pickled asparagus and onions were delicious. Rest felt like it was left over from many days before. Wine was tasty and interesting to try a Chardonnay from the region. My favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc. Coolest part was seeing all the other tables bringing in their own boards and snacks. What a beautiful place to taste or have a glass of wine with your own assortment of goodies. Staff did a nice job explaining the wines and what made them unique with grapes from the region. Truth be told the name of the winery is what sold us on checking it out.
