The Bellini beer was my absolute favorite!
Victoria A.

Unique tasty beers even ones that may seem strange like cucumber and mint blew my mind! The food was outstanding as well. I'll be dreaming of those potatoes and melon salad for the rest of my life! Yum! The staff was so so friendly and helpful...oh and you can't beat the incredible view here! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We hope to be back one day...Cheers from Chicago!

Burger was delicious! Smashed potatoes were phenomenal! Buttermilk chicken sandwich was awful. It tasted fishy like it had been fried in oil that had already cooked fish. Our beertender tried to defend the fishy taste saying that it was the Caesar dressing. We have been ordering Caesar salads for our entire lives including the legendary Tom Ham's Caesar which is made with Spanish anchovies . Nothing has ever tasted that fishy! Thankfully they swapped it out for a burger which was great! The dark beers we tried were delicious but not worth the drive and hassle to find Alesong. The dark beers we had at Port Townsend Pourhouse and at home in San Diego are every bit as good.

Located right next door to King Estate Winery it's difficult to believe this wonderful treasure chest of craft ale and excellent food is in the city limits of Eugene. A half hour ride from downtown it's so very much worth the trip. Of course you can take home a few bottles of unique great tasting ale and even some delicious Pinot Gris - we did- but sitting down to sample a few ales while enjoying a grilled apple sandwich topped with prosciutto makes for a most enjoyable afternoon in a breathtaking atmosphere.

Alesong has always been my top choice for the best brewery, and my recent visit only solidified that opinion. It had been a while since I last stopped by, but this time, I decided to try the food truck, and it was stellar!

The fantastic and awe inspiring Stonefruit Sonota from Alesong!

Alesong is another Eugene brewery that Steven and I got to get under our belt to try for the brewery scene in this lovely college town! I love coming across breweries that make their beer with delicacy and elegance. There are more breweries like this out there than you think but not to the point where they are so commonplace that there is no novelty to it when you discover such a brewery! Alesong does fits into the elegance of beer and ale drinking perfectly and was a refreshing treat to have! We had their Stonefruit Sonata which so great! It was a sour ale aged in French oak barrels with nectarines. The tart and sourness is handled expertly with the the subtle oak and earthy notes along with the citrusy tasting nectarines. Truly a fun and enjoyable ale to sit back and enjoy! There are a lot more intriguing options from Alesong that are well worth our attention after our first tasting experience and we would love to explore those in much more thoroughness! If out trying different breweries in Eugene I highly recommend this place if you want something unique and truly different from many other breweries out there!

The folks that work there are very nice. Their beers are fantastic as well as the food, and the setting is just absolutely amazing. The ride out there on my motorcycle is epic as well. I love the location. The only reason I gave it four stars, is because they don't let you have any tasters.

Oh Man! You do not want to miss this fantastic brewery. Out in the Willamette Valley, this brewery resides on a beautiful piece of property. Our experience here was nothing but out of this world wonderful! When we got there, we were greeted with a "welcome pour" to start the experience. Two people in the party had the tasting flight which was amazing and comes with explanations of each beer. For those of you that cannot have beer, they also offer wine. We purchased one of the cheese plates which paired perfectly with the different beers in the flight and it was so, so good! We also got to see their barrel room and hear about the process of brewing. The customer service was the best. You do not want to miss this wonderful brewery!

Wings, potatoes, sparkling Pinot, and seasonal flight

Came across this place adventuring off the beaten path one Sunday afternoon with my girlfriend. First off I want to say that Jake gave us the most amazing service. He was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. One of the coolest people we've ever met. He was very knowledgeable of the menu. I got the seasonal flight and my girlfriend got the sparkling Pinot and I have to say every drink was amazing. Jake walked me through my flight and made sure to check to see if we needed anything else throughout or visit. I bought a bottle of "Touch of Brett" to take home it was THAT good. The food was also really good. We got the wings which had a perfectly crispy coating and the potatoes which were delightful. Only thing I would change would be to add more of the chili topping because it was THAT good. The ambiance was also incredible. They played great music ranging from blues to soul to RnB. The front has an amazing view of the countryside and they even have activities like cornhole to play. Will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone. Who knew that randomly adventuring the countryside would lead us to such an amazing place.

Great things first: the view, the service, the outside picnic tables, the band that was playing, the laid-back vibe of the place, the wood fired pizza (by Marché) But: I just thought the beers were awful! Belgian style ales??? Not even close to true. I had a tasting flight with 4 different beers, from ales to Kriek to darker barrel aged beer. Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 beers were un-drinkable. The Kriek was way too tart. (Yes, I am picky growing up not 8 miles from Belgium where I drank Kriek all the time). The blueberry ale beer was so bad I had to toss it out, pure tartness and bitterness combined. The darker beer and the lightest ale were drinkable but far from delicious, too bitter, too Oak-y and just plain weird tasting. Sorry guys, better head over to Belgium for a crash course in making "Belgian Style" beers.... Too bad since I really really wanted to like this place!!

Love Love Love this place!! We drove out here from Vida to go to King Estate. The winery visit was short, so we hopped next door to Alesong. So glad we did!! Stellar set up and vibe + great beer. I sincerely hope we make it back here someday soon.

I love Alesong. From their beautiful brewery and tasting room located on the outskirts of town to their cozy tasting room at the 5th street market, they are a must visit for beer lovers. I normally go to their scenic location outside of town because I love the beautiful location. I've celebrated friends birthdays here on the one patio that offers covered seating, corn hole, giant jenga and other lawn games. I've also had cute date outings here and sat inside on a cold day. They allow you to bring your own food if you'd like but they have delicious snack boards and recently I had an amazing sandwich paired with comforting squash soup. They have food trucks that rotate too! I love doing a flight of their beer to get the full experience. They use really creative ingredients that bring such a depth of flavor to each offering. They have won many awards and for good reason! The staff is always so helpful and accommodating and they welcome all ages.

Patio views and a delicious glass of Rhino Suit!

This down home, family run winery is casual and friendly, with a terrific back porch and view of the Umpqua River. It's a great place to hang out and sip a while. The winery, which makes its product in very small lots, was started in 2019 and has a 4 acre vineyard. An average production here ranges from 25 to 125 cases. If you pick up a bottle or two to add to your cellar, you'll truly have something special that very few will also own. The winery produces a variety of whites and reds, from Pinot Gris to Cabernet Franc. I tasted four of Knostman's flagship wines: the Estate Sauvignon Blanc, Estate Pinot Gris, Estate Gamay, and Estate Malbec. I found all of the wines in their portfolio to be very light-bodied with a thin structure. This isn't necessarily a sign of an inferior wine, it's just that my palate gravitates towards more bold and highly tannic wines. The red wines here are perfect for wine lovers who don't want too much weighing down their palate. I found both of the whites to be very tart, and overly so for my taste. The tasting presentation was super cute and clever, with the wines being delivered in a tasting flight of tiny carafes. Tasters are able to control their own pours, which is a welcome safety feature that keeps things sanitary during the pandemic. I also liked that the by-the-bottle wine prices are clearly posted in a very visible spot (behind the main tasting bar). You can see these as soon as you walk in, so there are no surprises. Most of the wines are reasonably priced, hovering in the mid-$20 range. If you're looking for a terrific view and a laid-back tasting, this is a great stop on your Oregon wine journey.
