The Bard Chard and Blush Rose are a good start, but if it's the reds you crave, you'll crave all of their reds. Katrina and Scott are always helpful and fun to talk to, and very knowledgeable. It's so hard to choose from the different combinations of clones, all estate grown, so we are always tempted to buy one of each. The prices for the wines (deserving of Oregon Winery of the year in 2020) are outrageously affordable, currently $40/bottle for the estate's best. With it's unique micro-climate, the vineyard overlooks Marys Peak adding to the ambience of the tasting room and deck. Our dogs have always been welcome!. Summer music on Friday nights adds to the experience which is always laid back and chill. It's 15-20 minutes to Corvallis which is great for us since our son is at OSU. We love that they are a Harvest Host location. When we got there, we went into the tasting room and they directed us the best place to park. After we got set up, we got a couple bottles of wine, brought some snacks from our rig and played bocci ball on the court they have, then just sat back and relaxed on the patio. All grapes grown right there, and they make just one varietal: Pinot Noir. The owners are pouring and they were very friendly. $5 will get you a flight of tastes, and you can apply the tasting fee to a purchase of a bottle of wine. We like Oregon pinots and are happy to have found TeBri. Reasonably priced & a neat little place to visit. Oh - and they also have a lavender labyrinth around a gazebo ~ which was past the blooming season when we visited. What always stirs the strongest memories/emotions are the earthy Pinots of OR's Willamette valley that we stumbled upon in those days. Over the years we found the style elusive, at least for us out of staters. All that changed this weekend - I found the last few miles driving to the property to be inspiring - this is as picturesque as it gets for me when visiting a winery. The setting alone is worth the drive. Tasting the wines makes the trip exceptional. Brian, the owner, is a super swell host. Honest to a fault and very passionate about his Pinots. It shows in the wine. This is what I remembered about OR and what makes me regretful about having left. Brian is what makes me happy to return and inspired about tasting Pinots again. When pressed for what I was looking for, the man became insulting and told me he doesn't sell "cutesy" wine; that I was looking for "supermarket" wine, that wines with interesting labels didn't have anything good inside the bottle.
