Such a fantastic experience at Willamette Valley Vineyards! Our tour guide, Owen, was incredible....knowledgeable, engaging, and great at walking us through the entire journey from grape to bottle. We tasted some wonderful varieties, and the experience only solidified my love for Oregon Pinot Noir. And an unexpected highlight: the pickled grapes on the charcuterie board were AMAZING. Best views for wine, very hospitable people, and great wine to top it all off! We arrived at about 4:30 pm and could not leave. The view just was the best one we have visited in the valley thus far. The place is first come first serve for seating. Most people decided to sit inside, so there was some seating available outside, but some seating has limited viewing of the vineyard. Outside has their own bar so you dont have to go inside to order food and/or wine. Their pinot noirs were my favorite. I usually dont order a wine bottle on my first visit, but if I were to come back and purchase one, I would get the Tulatin Estate Pinot Noir. Amazing experience! Love willamette valley vineyards. Wine is always great! We got flatbread, a burger, charcuterie boards. Of course, the food was great. Views are amazing here. They have an indoor space where they do the wine tastings and have a pizza oven. There is a multi-tier outdoor space with view looking over the valley. The best part of willamette is the services, every experience I've had has been great with the staff. They set the experience apart from just another winery. Consistently great quality wine and service! Our wine ambassador, Shane, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, engaging, and gave our party a great tour. We were hosted staying "Into the Woods" in an Airstream that was more comfortable than any of the hotels we stayed in.... A winding walk through a beautiful trail and to the tower that creates a distinctive look for the Oregon gem. Paul did an outstanding job as our tour guide. You can't help but want to stay and join in as a member or owner! Hearing the history of the region and Bill's start, struggles, and ultimate success was inspiring. More inspiring is how the vineyards support each other in so many ways. The views were epic, wines amazing (Fuller was our favorite)... food was beautiful and regionally inspired. Whether you are a local or adventuring from out of town, put this on your bucket list. Ask the questions, taste the wine, make time to dine! When the wedding photos went long after the service and the wedding party showed up later than expected, the WVV team pivoted and called in staff to support so we could keep the venue for another few hours. It was our first time here and we enjoyed a tasting and lunch out on the patio, taking in the gorgeous vista on very warm late September afternoon. Since we were on the patio, the process was to get a wine glass and your first taste at the station outside, and then go back for each additional pour. if you want food, you also order at the outside station and they give you a number to place in your table. We enjoyed the whites, but personally I was excited to get to the reds. Both of the Pinots were wonderful, a bit more on the bolder side which I prefer. While it wasn't on the tasting menu, I had a glass of of the Metis, a red blend of grapes from Walla Walla. For me, it's so satisfying on its own or with a meal, and why I bought a few bottles to take home. Whenever we visit one of the Willamette Valley Bineyard locations, we plan on having our meal there because the food is always high quality, large portions, fresh ingredients, and delicious. This proved true for the Turner location. We shared a humus and veggie platter which was a great starter. Then for lunch, I ordered the shrimp dish and it was fabulous! There were six jumbo shrimp cooked to perfection in a pesto sauce, served with grilled tomatoes, shaved Parmesan, and two slices of grilled baguette. Enough for dinner, or in my case, half for lunch, half for dinner later. My friends were equally happy with their meals, one a vegan pasta dish; the other, a salad with feta. In addition to the patio, there was ample seating inside where we moved for our final pour because we needed some AC. This is a very large vineyard with several parking areas. It gets super crowded in nice weather or when they are hosting events. For those that are challenged walking distances and up hill, try to park in the lot just past the main door to the tasting room. There are a few handicapped spots there. I was 5 weeks post a major surgery and all those spots were full. There was no way I could have walked from the lower level and up the hill, thankfully, they provided a free shuttle van that perused the parking areas offering rides. Yes, please! The driver told me to have the hostess call him when I was ready to leave, and sure enough, he came back to give me a ride to my car. Without this service, I honestly would not be able to visit this location. All and all, it was a lovely afternoon filled beautiful views, delicious wine and food. read more

This is our second visit to Willamette winery for the holidays! Beautiful restaurant with views of the vineyard and surrounding valley, the interior is cozy with a fireplace and glass enclosed dining areas! The patio is a must in the spring or summer. The servers were very knowledgeable and friendly; taking extra time to talk in detail about each wine . The charcuterie platter had many options with cured meats, pickled vegetables, jam, mustard, mild cheeses and crackers. I enjoyed the small bites to enjoy with a variety of red and white wines. The burger was slightly charred and juicy with a side of savory truffle fries-- Delicious!! Tip- this place gets very busy, suggest a reservation to guarantee a table with a server to discuss wine pairings, otherwise, you may have to enjoy the extra seating upstairs and along the bar at the main level. read more

Team here for Mother's Day yesterday and had a great time and experience. The food was delicious. The wine is tasty as it should be and I wasn't disappointed. The views are great. It was a little cloudy but still nice outside. I love the interior and I love the service and they have these delicious chocolates that they sell. The Mother's Day had a $75 down payment or something like that for a bottle of wine as well. They also have a fire pit inside. I'll definitely be coming here again. I also recommend subscribing you get a bottle of wine each month and you can pick and choose if you don't want the one that they're gonna be sending and getting invited to events and what not just like all the wineries, but this one seemed a little different. read more

My wife and I had a great time at Willamette Valley Vineyards' home estate (about 10 miles south of Salem, OR). When we arrived, the power had just gone out, disrupting just about everything. Our wine ambassador, Nelli V., brought up wine from the dark library and conducted admirably the Library Wine Experience in our Winery Suite. In lieu of dinner, the kitchen supplied a complimentary charcuterie platter for us to eat in our suite because the kitchen was closed due to the power outage. Soon thereafter the power came back on and we enjoying a quiet evening "at home." The second day's highlight was the chef's counter food and wine pairing experience. Delightful! Thereafter, Nelli worked with me to select wines to take home with us. Several of the winery activities (including the Library Wine Experience and the Chef's Counter) came with "wine credits" that, in essence, reimbursed the cost of the activities. Even the stay in Winery Suite came with a $150 wine credit. Once we were back in our suite, the kitchen delivered complimentary pizza, which we enjoyed with a complimentary bottle of wine they'd left in the room. The hospitality was exceptional. read more

Wine is subjective, so this review has nothing to do with the wines which were sampled. We were greeted quickly upon entering, but it was confusing where we could go and what service we would receive. We ended up on the balcony since the patio was full and the first floor was reservations only. After some minutes of no service, we decided to go tot he first floor to the casual sitting area. This was better but we moved to the tasting bar when places opened there. Service at the bar was disjointed. There was a shift change while we were there and they basically stopped service to the bar while working through logistics, which didn't get resumed smoothly. Once we received one of our two next pours, then new bartender detected that an incorrect bottle had been opened. Instead of pouring for both of us, they left with the bottle and returned to open the new one and pour two new samples. Why not pour both and call it a bonus? After a while with empty glasses, I asked for the next pour. It seemed like we were a bother to the bar server. Given the cost and service, we likely won't return if we are in the area. read more

Beautiful tasting room with a fantastic view of the vineyards. So impressed on how the vineyards are organized and labeled with the different types of grapes. This was far away the best experience we had of the vineyards we visited. Service by Sarah was fantastic. We tried the artichoke/mushroom flatbread while we were there, and it was frankly one of the best if not the best flatbreads we have ever had. We had two different tastings and liked every single wine on each of the tastings. I compare this with one of their competitor's vineyards where I didn't like one of the five sample tastings we were given. I highly recommend the Willamette Valley vineyards. read more

It's Wine Time! We absolutely loved our time at Willamette Winery. If you're a wine lover and foodie, this spot is a good one. Located in a beautiful, sprawling vineyard, the winery is picturesque and perfect for a relaxing day out. The view is up on a hill and in sane. The highlight for us was the delicious cheese board and shrimp salad, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly paired with Willamette's excellent wine selection. The staff was great. Our favorite winery just got better! We stayed in the rv park attached to the winery called "into the woods". It was amazing. Honestly the most beautiful rv park we have ever stayed in. Clean and each site is surrounded by beautiful trees. It is quiet in spite of the freeway close by. And it's private- completely gated so no one can enter unless they are a guest here. Our experience at the winery was excellent. We had some delicious wine, ate some delicious food and just enjoyed the beauty...we even became members of the winery last night! read more
