    February special, fish tacos
    Kris W.

I have been wanting to try this winery for years and finally made it on a rainy weekend. This tasting room is nestled on some gorgeous land in Amity. Our reservations were for 12:30 on a Saturday and the place was already about 75% full. It turns out the 2025 Rose was being celebrated ahead of its release date. We started off with a taste of that, then to the 2024 Rose before ordering some fantastic Fish Tacos, special for the month. We continued to dive into the rest of the Whites Flight, and they kept getting better and better. I'm not a sweet white fan and fortunately, these were not. Before we were halfway through the tasting, my friend, decided she wouldn't leave until she joined the club. There are 3 club levels and are very accommodating if you chose to switch out to a red or a favorite white. Another benefit, the winery's goal is sharing the love with wineries all across the country and as a member, you will get the same discounts. They are already partnered up with L'ecole, one of the great Walla Walla Wineries. Can you say, road trip? I walked out so happy with my bottle of Dry Muscat and anxious to go back when the sun stays for more than a minute.

Even though the day was not sunny, they have a covered patio and heater, and everything was warm and cozy. The food is always excellent as usual. The dessert today was Panna cotta and it just melted in your mouth. So happy to be a member I got caramels that are way better than what I can make myself at home. One is a star shaped, which is incredible and oh so cute. Yes I ate it before I could take a picture. Wish I could take pictures of the food, but I ate my plate as soon as I got on the table- as well as all the other delicious things we ordered. Cremini mushrooms, grilled cheese and tomato, and a perfect dish with wine with gnocchi and chicken and vegetables. I got the amycas (?) and the dessert wine was sweet pea, which was not too sweet and with the dessert. My husband had to Syrah and it was so good with the chauterie plate

We really enjoyed ourselves here at this winery while in town. The views are exceptional and on a nice day, it's really really great. The pinot noir wines here are very tasty -- we were able to sample quite a few of their different wines offered (they make a lot of wines here). We walked out with 4 or 5 wines, and we rarely purchase wines from a winery. Our host was very friendly and super chill. Definitely recommended for the views and the wine is very pleasant. Enjoy!

Beautiful view and tasting room. We enjoyed the wine although it was pricier than we are used to. Logan did a great job with our tasting and gave us a bunch of recommendations for the weekend. Enjoyed the charcuterie.

We took out of town guests here for our first visit. I had made a reservation for the patio and I was so happy I did! The view was beautiful! Our server was wonderful and explained each wine of our flight with great detail. He shared with us the history of the winery, which was an interesting story. The foods I tasted were the Brussel sprouts, the steak sandwich and the charcuterie board. All delicious! The only negative about my review would be, for the flight, I never received a clean glass when a new wine was introduced. Otherwise, my expertise at Brooks was great!

We had a wonderful experience at Brooks Winery! Beautiful views, excellent wine, relaxed service. Our server Kandace was fantastic -- friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely comfortable. She gave great recommendations and made the whole tasting experience so much fun. Highly recommend stopping by Brooks if you're in the area!

The views at this winery are wonderful. We made a reservation out on the outdoor covered patio which I highly recommend. In addition to the wine they also provide food. I got a pass of Pinot and also the BLT sandwich. The sandwich was banging. Bacon had really good flavor/crispness and the tomato jam was the perfect contrast to the bacon. I normally love Pinot noir but I think I just didn't prefer the style at brooks. Theirs tastes more earthy and drier than I like. I prefer a cleaner, fruitier taste. But that's just personal preference. Service was wonderful and very quick. They let me try a couple styles of wine before I committed to a glass which was appreciated.

Lovely wine, beautiful views, food and friendly people that work there. We've only been twice so far when we can get away and have always enjoyed our time there.

I think this is my new favorite winery in the Eola Amity Area. The wine is great and the food rivals any Michelin Rated Restaurant.  The menu changes every month and uses local seasonal ingredients. We had the brussel sprouts, which had beet chips. Typically, I hate anything beet related but there was nothing in this dish that was not incredible, beets included. I also had squash with a horseradish aioli. I could have just had the aioli and been happy.  My husband had a radicchio salad with shrimp with a creamy dressing. Everything was excellent!!  I have not pulled the plug yet, but I am still deciding on joining their wine club, as I liked their wines that much.  The ambience is cozy, and they have a great patio. Of course, when we were here it was not even 40 degrees so not a good patio day, but I look forward to returning when the weather warms to sit outside.

Black Friday for me usually means avoid all stores and shopping. There is no deal I need or anything I need bad enough. That said this seemed like a great alternative. Their tasting is $8 this includes 5 wines to taste and they also brought us a little plate of olives, crackers and almonds. We purchased one wine which waive one of our tasting fees. I have to say I really loved all their wines. When you walk in their tasting area may seem a little primitive and not as fancy as some you see in places in the McMinnville AVA, however, the service was great and friendly. The server indicated that had just recently been bought out by Union wines which produces Underwood wine and is based out of Tualatin. This must have been a real recent purchase as neither of their websites reflect that. All in all a good solid group of reds and whites. Stop by and give them a try. I know I'll be back again.

They have the best wines I have ever had! Love their Late Harvest Rieling (sweet dessert wine)…read morewhich I believe is termed an "ice wine". They also had a sweet "Wedding Song Riesling" which was my 2nd favorite. My friend enjoyed the Eco-Wine Pinot Noir, which was what she bought. The tasting fee was incredible, I think it was like $5 for 8 or 10 tastes. I lost track of how many tastes we had. And then they waived our tasting fee as well. I had so much fun and had such a great time at this winery! Out of all the wineries we went to in the Salem area, this was definitely my favorite. And the staff was super informative. They were so friendly and nice, very helpful. Not only that but one of there wine specialists was super hot too! Nice eye candy :)

We thought Dukes was pet-friendly, and we saw two (2) large dogs lying on the concrete beside a table. One of them got up and lumbered toward ours (a 17-pound rescue). Intimidated, our little dog barked exactly once, prompting an employee to storm outside. Scowling, he said pets were absolutely not allowed. "We had a dog bite last year," he said grimly, oblivious to the other canines already present. Proverbial tales between our legs, we left, feeling pretty crappy--especially since we drove almost forty minutes out of our way to visit this winery. PS: Here is the initial response by Dukes Family Vineyards which they posted and quickly removed: "Your dog barked and snipped in a very aggressive manner twice upon arrival. You were asked to leave by the owner after he heard your dog being aggressive. Sorry about the disappointment, however; we had several patrons that witness your arrival and they thanked us for not letting you stay." PPS: To Dukes Family Vineyards: Your response, and your suggestion my chihuahua was "very aggressive" is completely absurd. My wife was carrying him. The instant she set him down, a much-larger dog came straight over and got in his face. Ours barked once. (He was frightened.) Please answer this question: Why are other dogs allowed to be there if your establishment isn't pet-friendly? Also: we were not "asked to leave." Your server told us you were "full," despite the number of empty tables. Your claim that several patrons witnessed our arrival and then thanked you for not letting us stay makes you (and them) sound like creeps. Further, your withdrawn statement illustrates for potential customers the way you will judge and treat them.
