Went here with friends to do a tasting. It was very easy to make reservations via the online system. We opted to sit inside but their are tons of options when you make your reservation. After that visit I opted to join the wine club because of its many benefits (free tasting, special pricing, wine clubbpickups) We usually sit outside by the big tree. The tasting comes out all at once ( thanks god cause we have a toddler and I hate awkwardly waiting around). They will tell you as much or as little as you want to know about the wine. They also have charcuterie (yum) and other goodies. The truffles are yummy and the other local goods are perfect for gifts. Service is top notch.

This is a great family owned winery right on the outskirts of Portland My wife and I were one of the first wine tasters at this place when it opened and we were glad to be back for a late lunch. Ambiance is welcoming, and the place is pet friendly and casual. It's a perfect place for an intimate wine tasting or casual chill. The views from the patio are breathtaking if you are lucky to come on a clear day. Their wine flight was $25 and has a nice blend of whites and reds...perfect for your taste buds. They bring your entire tasting flight to the table at once and give a brief rundown of the wines. Then it's up to you to proceed with pouring at your leisure. The wines are very good and affordable compared to other wineries I've been to. The staff is knowledgeable on the wines and go above and beyond to ensure you get good service. If you are hungry, they offer caprice sandwiches, Italian paninis, chocolates and a lot of other treats to munch on. You can even take a shot at bocce on their courts if you have time.

We stopped by recently on a sunny Friday afternoon for a tasting. Nice setting, smaller venue than some, but quaint with a cute outdoor patio seating area. There are quite a few tables set up on either side of a bocce ball court with the vines on the hill behind. The service is welcoming and casual, and the place is pet friendly. A little less formal than most, they bring your entire tasting flight to the table at once and give a brief rundown of the wines. Then it's up to you to proceed with pouring at your leisure. We also requested a charcuterie board to accompany our wines. It was nice, a small sampling of crackers, two cheeses, two meats, and nuts. Everyone in our party enjoyed the experience, pretty decent wines. Friendly place for a casual tasting!

We have been club members for years and we love this vineyard. I'm a fan of whites and my husband can do either whites or reds. When they have a good event each month the food is excellent. We love the seating and they even have bocce ball if you have the inclination. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Love and definitely recommend.

Cute cute cute. I was so excited when driving along the highway on our way back to Portland that we saw signs for this winery. We whipped a U turn and headed back. It was a bit overcast and rainy that day, but they had a tent set up outside for those who wanted to sit out there. We opted for an inside table and they got us in no problem without a reservation. Their wine flight was $25 and was a nice blend of whites and reds. It was the perfect afternoon pick me up!

Pleasant afternoon with a beautiful view. Enjoyed the wine flight sampling! Wine varieties covered the spectrum so something for everyone. Enjoyed viewing the Cave. Would love to come back for an event!

Wonderful experience! My wife and I chose Apolloni to be the winery for our first wine tasting with both our adult children. We tasted 6 wines, and heir pinot noir wines were excellent! We enjoyed the Pinot rosé the most on this hot September afternoon. Spencer was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back, especially on the way to the Oregon Coast from Portland.

My partner and I stopped here on our way back from the coast and had a lovely experience. Shea offered great conversation and expertise, they gave a lovely overview of the history and the wines, truthfully making this a very special trip for us. Get a flight and relax!

Super cute grounds with bocce ball area, nice outdoor seating for wine tasting. We did the flight and charcuterie board. The wines were nice and reasonably priced. If you spend $50 on wine, your $25 tasting is waived.

It feels all holiday festive at the Apolloni!!

Stopped off at this picturesque vineyard after seeing a sign on the road. Lots of options to taste test from bubbles to reds. I have to admit a few of the varieties I had never tried before....like Nebbiolo! We tried one of each tasting along with 2 truffle chocolates. I highly recommend the raspberry truffle! Yum! The vineyard is beautiful even in winter. They are dog-friendly which I adore. Even though we didn't find the perfect bottle match today, I can't wait to come back in Spring!

This is one vineyard that's a short drive, and not very difficult to get to for being located in Cornelius. No long and windy roads is what I'm implying. An easy vineyard you can show out-of-town guest what Oregon wines are all about. I feel this would be a quick treat for them. Even after work, just to relax with a glass and charcuterie board, we've been here! ~ The Views (or a view) ~ If you've seen the yelp pics on the views, then that's exactly all you'll get. You can chill inside for a tasting or out on the patio while enjoying an excellent view of the vineyard. On a clear sunny day, you can see Mt Hood in the background. Down below the patio, at vineyard-level, there are a few wooden beach chairs and picnic tables as well. It's relaxing wherever you choose really, to say the least. ~ Reds, Whites, and You ~ If you're looking for a white chard that's not too sweet, then this is your place! Their wines are simple enough to enjoy. I don't recall having a bad pour. But like practically every vineyard in Oregon, they too serve pinot noirs. I personally have more of an earthy pallet, so I do not have a taste for pinot gris or rieslings, but theirs I did admire. You'll have to try them for yourself. Again, I believe all their variations can satisfy anyone's pallet. ~ Owners, Staff, and Service ~ At one of the member events, we did get the opportunity to meet the owners, and their pup. All of them really down-to-earth people in my opinion. But I would like to give credit to Mach and Melissa as well. These two hustle! Not for you to just purchase their wines and join the club, but they're attentive on what you'd be interested in. Thank your Mach and Melissa for your generous and friendly hospitality. We've had questions, they've had answers. This little winery just gives you everything you'd expect from a winery. Case and point!

My usual M.O. with sake is a small, hot carafe when I have sushi. But my experience here has made me rethink this incredible beverage. I opted for the Daiginjo flight, which I highly recommend. Daiginjo is the best form of sake, with the process polishing down the rice grain to 50% or less of its original volume. The ones I had ranged from 40% to 50%. I'm not sure exactly what this does, but I can sure tell you, it makes a massive difference in the smoothness and taste. The first 3 sakes in the sampler are from Japan; the last is their exclusive sake made right in Forest Grove. Here's my take on the sakes I had: The Murai Family was aromatic and slightly floral. The Hakutsuru: smooth, slight fruitiness, subtle, with an interesting aftertaste on the back sides of my tongue. The Yoshi No Gawa was smoother with a slight tang at the back of my tongue. And last but not least, the in-house Nagata had a nice balance of bold, silky, and fruity/floral. I even admired its "legs" as I did a swirl to see viscosity. After the flight, I decided on a cocktail, the Blackberry Lime Martini. Tart, sweet, deliciousness. When I left, I bought a bottle of Sho-Une, which didn't break the bank, but is supposed to be great for the price point. I'm saving it for a special occasion. I'm looking forward to visiting this fine establishment again.
