I have had tastings with Barb and Alec in recent months. The wine has been excellent and the staff very knowledgeable. Andante's wines are very good to begin with, but they also allow one to explore less common wines such as Aligote and Marsanne. The food items I've tried have been top notch. The winery is in a gorgeous spot with relaxing views. Our host was welcoming and we enjoyed a tasting and took a few bottles for later. I love that they have sparkling wine in their line up and the Sauvignon Blanc was delicious. Yes, this is the valley of Pinot Noir but my palate needs a break. We visited on a Wednesday so the kitchen was closed but the menu looked inviting. I hope to visit again soon. read more

Our visit to Andante Vineyards was an amazing, memorable experience! As Club Members, we were able to reserve a two-night's stay at the Club House. José Cruz, Director of Sales, was in contact with us many weeks before our Oregon visit. He provided us with information about the house, coordinated our personal wine tastings, and a host of other information we inquired about before our travels. We were very impressed with the professional and kind responsiveness to our many questions. José conducted our two wine-tastings personally. Through José, we learned so much about Andante's history, wines, and the background of some of the staff. José was key to making our visit a time we will not soon forget. Thank you, José! The hosts/vineyard owners, Joe Allen and Karen Saul were very welcoming and greeted us personally. In addition to the wonderful wines, beautiful rolling vineyards, amazing sunrises/sunsets, and interactions with the staff, we were there to also see/hear a prominent Oregon Folk group. Unfortunately, one member became ill, and the event had to be cancelled. Joe, Karen, José, and Brandon Correa (Tasting Room Lead) realizing how disappointed we were to miss such a concert that they arranged a special surprise for us on day two of our wine tasting. Joe (on a Steinway piano) and Brandon (on Viola) played a special piece especially for us (an arrangement of Ave Maria). This was such an unexpected personal touch! The entire staff at Andante was amazing. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable. You can sense that everyone genuinely loves being there. All in all, we find Andante Vineyard to be classic, peaceful, vibrant, tasteful, and inviting. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and staff. We cannot wait for our next visit. Came here recently for a wine tasting with my family, I'm not a wine drinker but I loved the experience. It was so fun, the wine was good, the food absolutely incredible and the service was amazing. For food we ordered a Caesar salad, a cheese plate, and a mushroom sandwich, everything was delicious but we couldn't get enough of the Caesar and ended up ordering another and I haven't stopped thinking about that salad since. We had a spacious table, set back in a corner with beautiful views looking over the vineyard, which was perfect because we are yappers and we laugh a lot so it was nice to have a little privacy and by nice I mean it was nice for the other patrons for us to keep our noise to ourselves. If you're in the Salem area, make the drive, it's worth checking out. read more

Andante is for me the best winery in the Willamette Valley, it is a cozy place with an incredible view, the wine reflects love and dedication, each grape is harvested with love, they not only use grapes planted by them but also use grapes from other regions to convince savors and smells that make their wine something different and special, the menu is excellent accompaniment to each of their wines, you can tell that everything in Andante is made with love, now if we talk about the excellence of employees, their knowledge and how they treat all diners makes the difference. We stayed here one night in our Airstream through Harvest Host. We left the tasting with six bottles of wine. we ordered the spinach artichoke dip and the crab cakes and both were quite good. All the other food we saw going to other tables looked amazing. All the staff were very friendly. The best part for me was walking around the amazing property and sitting in Adirondack chairs at the top of the hill, looking over the vineyard and tasting room. Spectacular! Beautiful vineyard, worth the drive to Dallas for the views. The interior (and exterior) design is absolutely beautiful. Seating is comfortable and classy. The service is super friendly (and they don't push you out the door after 1.5 hours like some other places). The wines were all great and the food options were excellent as well. There is also an option to drink by the glass or the bottle in case you're not into the tasting option. I Highly recommend checking them out. It's hard to imagine finding a more beautiful and friendly place than Andante Vineyards. We spent a charming morning on their generous veranda overlooking lush vineyards and charming gardens while tasting a full flight of delicious wines. The hosts were knowledgeable but also personable with just the right amount of friendly conversation. We ordered the fromage cheese board and had enough to easily please the three of us with yummy cheeses, nuts, fruits and bread. The veranda was shady and cool on a warm summer morning and we never felt rushed by the staff or crowded by other patrons. Bu the end of our visit we joined the wine club and left with 6 bottles of excellent wine to enjoy at home. I highly recommend this place. read more
