This place is AMAZING! Lincoln City is very lucky to have a place like this…read more.... DAY 1 Husband came in while I was getting the inside of the trailer set up. He return with dinner for me and told me of the best fish and chips and Pilsner. He brought me a burger which I hardly ever eat.. It was a burnt end prime rib and burger patty (with the fresh fixings) and with onion rings...WOW, it was literally the BEST BURGER ever........Thank you STEPHANIE for your great service. DAY 2 It was Sunday, Bloody Mary self service bar day (vodka was done at the bar) but you could anything you wanted at the set up area. It was fantastic!!!! Husband had Fish and chips, and I had a patty melt (HUGE!!!) could only eat 1/2 came with fantastic fries.... Thank you for the GREAT SERVICE and conversation, ANNIE. We will return

It seemed cool and was within walking distance to our hotel so my wife and I decided to give this…read moreplace a try. We do not drink alcohol and only wanted food. I think the drinking alcohol part is what makes the food edible. We were seated right away and the place had a few kids playing pool and 3 guys drinking beer (who spilled 2 while we were there). I got some wings and my wife god the "seafood combo". The wings were ok, nothing special no complaints. The seafood combo was pretty bad. The halibut was very fishy and I'm pretty sure it was all frozen before cooking. I mean c'mon man your at the coast and the halibut is old?! My wife got sick and was throwing up. The bathrooms were kids gross. There was poo stick to the inside of the toilet and there was hair stuck to the walls and sink. I would never go back again. The food with no drinks was almost $60.

On a recent trip to Pacific City, we found ourselves returning to Pelican Brewing Company more than…read moreonce--and that says everything. While there aren't a huge number of dining options in town, we never felt like we were settling. In fact, we looked forward to coming back each time. If you're a beer lover, you'll be in heaven. Their selection is extensive, with everything from crisp pilsners to rich stouts, making it easy to find something that suits your taste. The location is simply unbeatable. Nearly every table offers a view of the Pacific Ocean, and if you're lucky enough to grab a seat on the patio (my favorite spot), you're practically sitting on the beach. Watching the waves roll in while enjoying a meal is hard to top. Despite being incredibly busy, every server we had was friendly, attentive, and worked incredibly hard. The only minor downside was that the restaurant appeared to be a little understaffed. There were times when empty tables were visible, yet the wait was still 20-30 minutes. Honestly, though, we didn't mind. Any excuse to sit outside, people-watch, or simply stare out at the ocean is time well spent. The food was consistently excellent throughout our visits. We sampled the clam chowder, fish and chips, Backyard BBQ burger, cheeseburger, oyster shooters (both the Mignonette and Spicy Mary), and the cheese curds. My favorites were easily the clam chowder and the fish and chips--both were outstanding and exactly what you hope for when dining on the Oregon Coast. Even if beer isn't your thing, the cocktail menu is worth exploring. I ordered the Tsunami Warning, a refreshing blend of rum, pineapple and lime juices, ginger beer, and Pelican's Tsunami Stout. It's definitely a unique cocktail that won't be for everyone, but I'm glad I gave it a try. My biggest regret? Never saving room for dessert. Every time I saw one pass by our table, it looked incredible, but I was always too full to order one. That's just one more reason to come back. If you're visiting Pacific City, I highly recommend stopping by the original Pelican Brewing Company. Between the incredible oceanfront setting, excellent food and drinks, and welcoming service, it's a place that's easy to return to again and again.

Came to pick up our expensive "to go" order. Could not find a parking spot anywhere. They have a…read morepick up window but it is not open. So we had to go in. There is no dedicated parking for pick up orders. The order was more than what is on the "take out" menu from their website. When I asked about the price increase she said it was a "surcharge." (Had a bit of attitude when I asked about it as well. I just paid it cause I didn't want to argue when there was a line of people.) There is NO MENTION of a take out "surcharge" and it shows up on the receipt as "tax." There is no state tax in Oregon or a city tax in Pacific City. The food was not a good value for the money. Lettuce wrapped burger was wrapped with brown lettuce. The coleslaw was like mayo soup. I will say the fish in the fish and chips were good and the ranch was good but that was it. There is a lot of room for improvement. Starting in the parking lot!
