We drove to Depoe Bay from Lincoln City to check out their winery. At first I was expecting it to…read morebe much larger, but it's actually really small nestled between two different businesses right on the bay. The winery is inside a small cave with so many dollar bills hanging from the walls and the ceiling. You can actually hang your own dollar bill on the ceiling/wall and decorate it with sharpies that they have on the counter. We really don't carry any cash these days so we didn't have anything to hang on their ceiling or the walls lol. The nice gentleman behind the counter showed us what kinds of wines they had available upon our entry. He explained to us that if we did at least three different tastings, then we would be able to buy a wine bottle for $10 off, in which we agreed upon. We tried the following wines - Chardonnay, peach, pear, and apple jack. My absolute favorites were the Chardonnay and the apple jack, while my boyfriend enjoyed the peach and the pear. The apple jack was kind of like apple juice but with alcohol mixed in. I loved the apple jack so much that we decided to buy a bottle of it. We were told that Depoe Bay Winery is able to ship their wines to Las Vegas, where we're visiting from, and the best part is that there's no sales tax involved when we buy from them when we get back home! Amazing! This is definitely something I'm looking forward to. Will highly recommend this winery to everyone visiting the Depoe Bay area. Great customer service and absolutely great tasting wine.

I sure missed out on a lot. Their event was made extra special by the staff, as they were all knowledgeable and well-versed in the food and wine pairings that were offered at this event. I was particularly impressed as to how they were keeping the bottles of white wine cold by using ice that they had frozen flowers in. It was a beautiful presentation. There was a brick oven pizza set up and the pizzas were delicious. I am not sure if they are there all the time or because this was a special event. The wines are on point with each presentation and the outside area is spectacular. The inside area can hold a lot of people, especially on rainy days and very nicely decorated with lots of large windows. I can hardly wait to go back there again when all of the roses around the outside patio area are in Bloom! I will be bringing my small senior dog next time I visit their winery as they are dog friendly.

We went on a Sunday and did not have reservations and our group of 4 were able to be seated right away. Two of us did the red flight and one did the white while our driver sipped a coke. We had the Mediterranean plate and I would not recommend it, however the pickled asparagus and onions were delicious. Rest felt like it was left over from many days before. Wine was tasty and interesting to try a Chardonnay from the region. My favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc. Coolest part was seeing all the other tables bringing in their own boards and snacks. What a beautiful place to taste or have a glass of wine with your own assortment of goodies. Staff did a nice job explaining the wines and what made them unique with grapes from the region. Truth be told the name of the winery is what sold us on checking it out.

All grapes grown right there, and they make just one varietal: Pinot Noir. The owners are pouring and they were very friendly. $5 will get you a flight of tastes, and you can apply the tasting fee to a purchase of a bottle of wine. We like Oregon pinots and are happy to have found TeBri. Reasonably priced & a neat little place to visit. Oh - and they also have a lavender labyrinth around a gazebo ~ which was past the blooming season when we visited. What always stirs the strongest memories/emotions are the earthy Pinots of OR's Willamette valley that we stumbled upon in those days. Over the years we found the style elusive, at least for us out of staters. All that changed this weekend - I found the last few miles driving to the property to be inspiring - this is as picturesque as it gets for me when visiting a winery. The setting alone is worth the drive. Tasting the wines makes the trip exceptional. Brian, the owner, is a super swell host. Honest to a fault and very passionate about his Pinots. It shows in the wine. This is what I remembered about OR and what makes me regretful about having left. Brian is what makes me happy to return and inspired about tasting Pinots again. If you are lucky, you'll be able to meet Nettie and Willow, their well behaved happy dogs. Cheers to TeBri! P.S. The place reeks of lavender :)
