    Loire Valley omelette
    William D.

Probably the best omelette I've ever eaten. Loire Valley,3 egg's (they use local farm eggs) grilled artichoke, Gruyere cheese mushrooms and an artichoke cream sauce. Split it with the Mrs with a house made English muffin & a latte, plenty for both of us. . A great way to start your Saturday after the Farmers market around the corner. We've had the eggs Benedict previously & some of the other baked items, all good. Servers are polite & on it. Only open Tuesday to Sunday

Yummy food, good service, kids had a good time too. Cool artwork around the cafe. We will come back!

To our disappointment breakfast is not serviced past 11am. We arrived at 11:10am. We ordered Monte Christo, herbed pork sandwiches and coconut lemon cake. My husband amused himself with the fun folding vintage ladder chairs while we waited for our food. To my surprise the Monte Christo was amazing. It was made with a thick slice of turkey, nice amount of thin sliced deli ham. I missed the cheese type but it was delicious. The herbed pork sandwiches was good, but the Monte Christo was the best. As for the coconut lemon cake. It was good, but I'd preferred it to be just coconut no lemon. Friendly staff, cute vintage charm house cafe. We enjoyed our experience and will return when visiting.

We found this gem while looking for a breakfast spot in Newport. The interior is small, so there can be a wait when it's busy, but we were able to be seated quickly with just two of us. Our waitress was attentive even with a full restaurant, which was very appreciated. Sides of honeydew and cantaloupe were served first, alongside our beverages. The menu was simple, but the classics they focus on were done sensationally! The omelette pictured was fluffy beyond compare, and I ate it slowly and savor each bite! Easily one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. There was also a fantastic variety of baked goods and pastries available for purchase, and I know that when I come back, I will be eagerly sampling from the display case. Overall, this was our favorite place that we tried for breakfast on our trip. Definitely a must-try!

It was indeed. Chance find... small parking on the side - that helped - the portions are BIG and very tasty.... I am sure going to return with more appetite

Another Delicious French Breakfast @ La Maison Cafe in Newport, OR. !! I made sure to bring a friend here this past Saturday and she loved it so much, we came back again on Sunday! The service here is always delightful. The coffee and fresh squeezed OJ flavorful. The ripe cantaloupe and honeydew refreshing. Breakfast entrees are mouthwatering delicious. I tried an omelet this past time, after getting my usual crepes the day before, and it was the best omelet I've ever had, ever! It's one of those places where even if you're full, you finish the plate because it's totally worth savoring. The restaurant is inconspicuous and lovely. A hidden gem until you know.

What a lovely place with lovely service and amazingly delicious food! The ambience is very tiny and cute. It's a little rough around the edges and could use a little cleanup on the decor in the bathroom. But really that's a sidenote compared to how good the food is. We will definitely be back and I definitely recommend the eggs sardou!

    Bananas foster French toast

I'm a pastry fanatic and when I saw the photos from this little cafe, I knew we had to try it. It's very tiny, like a very small little house with very few tables, so keep that in mind if you visit. They also have a pretty small menu, but a beautiful little pastry case. Our first time here we sat down for some breakfast/brunch. Each meal comes with a little appetizer bowl of fruit, which is a lovely touch. I went with the Paris omelette, which was filled with brie and wrapped in prosciutto, and it was a great decision! The omelette was perfect and the savoriness of the brie and salty prosciutto worked perfectly together. I also appreciated their homemade croissant on the side. It didn't look like much at first, but it was flaky and delicious. My daughter went with the bananas foster french toast and she was thrilled when they arrived. It was stacked high and piled with toppings. My husband went with crepes which were also delicious. It seems like you can't go wrong here. We enjoyed it so much that we called in an order the next day before we left town. We each got a breakfast sandwich, which were bigger than expected and served on a house made english muffin. I also couldn't resist a pastry, so I grabbed a banana eclair on my way out. The pastry was a little sweet, but soooo good. While it's a little on the pricey side, it is most definitely worth a visit, even if it's just for pastries or a slice of cake. Everything is homemade from good ingredients and lovely people. We can't wait to come back!

    Crab Benedict, delicious!

Worth the wait, small restaurant in Newport with delicious, quality food. The Benedict was very filling. Worth the trip from Lincoln City.

Cozy spot with 9 square tables, which 8 of them can squeeze in 2-4 people each, then one only fits for 2 right in front of the restroom door on on side and the main cook on the other. We called ahead to make sure they open since the hours are limited for breakfast on most day with last sitting at 1:30pm and closes at 2pm. Yelp listed they open for dinner only on Friday and Saturday also limited hours. I would strongly recommend call ahead to confirm they open and hours before heading over. When we arrived at 1pm, there were only 2 tables with patrons: one with 4 next to the drink shelf to the left of the front counter, one with 2 on the middle table to the right, both of these tables could seat 4 people max but tight. Our party had 3 and a service dog for panic attacks for my daughter. The staff asked for paper and we didn't have it with us, then he went on and asked what services does the dog serves. He went on at sat us 3 at the table right in front of the restroom that only designed to fit for 2. My husband had to pull a chair and literally sat on the hall/wall space for a few people walked back and forth to use the restroom. I understood the need to had us sat separately to a side since we had pet with us but really disappointed that there were 6 other open tables which were not in front of the restroom hallway and door. A lot of things on the menu were either not available or sold out. There were no soup at all, or soup of the day, or the Grandma Chicken soup. Most pastries and bake goods were also gone. I hope this was a sign that business was good and items were sold out because they were delicious, not because the menu was ambitious and they don't cook or make full menu everyday. We ordered Eggs Sardou for me, Dijon Chicken for my husband, Breakfast Sandwich for my daughter, a lemon curd with toasted coconut flakes cupcake since there were only 2 of these left and a tray of velvet available, and a croissant. Our total was $69.50. Eggs Sardou: the hollandaise sauce was too sweet for my taste, the poached eggs were nicely done and the artichoke bottoms were a nice touch with a hint of pickled flavor. Thick and quality bacon to balanced the overly sweet hollandaise sauce that I didn't much care for or touch. I scraped most of the sauce off the best I could. Dijon Chicken: came with an okay tossed green salad, there was not much flavor on the chicken. Breakfast sandwich: very typical and average, not much to comment on. All our order came with house baked muffins and bread. There were dried and a bit crispy on the outside, but too much dough and lack flaky texture, included the croissant. The cupcake was dry and forgettable. The Eggs Bardou and Breakfast Sandwich both came with a tiny fruit dish with few cube cut of cantaloupe and honey dew. The staff was attentive and checked on us a few times. It was nice to have this option while visited the area and a break from fish and chip. However I would not make a drive Or special trip for it. P.Y. (Post Yelp:) Provides toilet seat covers and clean! There is free and big public parking next to the right and EV charging station!

It's pretty small inside and definitely has an antique shop feel. There's lots of different styles and things around. There are a few small tables scattered throughout. The lady at the front was very kind and happy to walk us through their options. They have one small case that's mostly savory and one small case that's sweets with a tiny truffle case on the counter. I think the move here is the cinnamon roll, but when we arrived they were still baking, which meant it smelled delightful, but were weren't able to try one. We ended up trying the breakfast muffin, which was really unique. It's a muffin with cheese and spinach baked in, along with an entire strip of bacon just under the surface, and an entire egg baked in the middle. It was good, but I'm not sure I would order it again. I'm not usually a scone fan, I prefer a muffin, but their scones looked good. We tried the blueberry lemon and the cranberry orange. They were both really flavorful with a good texture, not super dry. The blueberry edged out the cranberry for me because the blueberries were fresh, whereas the cranberry were dried. This is a cute small shop, clearly making everything from scratch with passion. I'd stop back in for a cinnamon roll for sure!
