Been coming here for years and it's still a really solid breakfast spot. Today we had the eggs Benedict with honey bacon and the Rustic Scramble. Slightly spicy hollandaise sauce, perfectly poached eggs and the sweet bacon on the Benedict pearched on house made biscuits. Scramble was healthy with chopped asparagus, pesto, scrambled eggs,sun dried tomatoes, honey bacon chunks, excellent combination of ingredients. May 2026 Nye Beach, OR Small little café along the streets. Only eight tables in the whole place. Very clean. The table near us ordered breakfast and it looked wonderful. I opted for the grilled cheese with an iced tea. My husband ordered the clam chowder with garlic bread. As I look around at all the tables near me all of the food from the hamburger to the salad looks delicious. The front door is open and the restaurant is warm. Outdoors it's only 54°. Kitchen is in the back of the restaurant, but there is heat radiated throughout the small restaurant. And loud noise of fans. The service was quick and polite. The food was delicious. The restaurant kept busy with people sitting at the tables outside as the lunch tables inside were filled. This is a small and cute place to have lunch. The wait staff was kind. We left our jackets in the restaurant and the waitress came out and found us still sitting in our car and gave us our jackets. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond. Came here for brunch on President's Day and the food was outstanding! I had the baked French toast with bacon and eggs; the French toast a masterpiece! The wait for this was considerable - half an hour; I even considered bringing this down to 4 stars because slow service is slow service, but it was so delicious I now consider it worth the wait. It's a relatively small space with a few tables and there was a wait for a table when I got there. It was a rainy day in the 40s and the front door was left open, maybe to create some ventilation with the cold coming in.... I see opportunity for an upgrade but would go again to try more food. read more

Visited on a Wednesday around noon and there was a 30 min wait for indoor seating but not for outdoor. Had the corn, beef, hash, the baked French toast, and chocolate chip pancakes. The corn beef hash was definitely my favorite. It's very different than most corn, beef hash egg dishes. The beef and vegetable pieces were large and flavorful. One of the best I've had. Spanish themed menu, I went with something NOT Spanish and ordered the baked French toast. Consists of two pieces of bread and they put egg and some nuts on top and BAKE IT. Then it has marrionberries on top and whipped cream. It was good but not great. Will get a Spanish themed item next time. Got a side of bacon and it was over cooked. Great breakfast! A small eatery that I am sure will be very busy on the weekends. We showed up mid morning on a Thursday in October. We got one of the last tables. This place makes all their breads from scratch as well as their biscuits. Everything on the menu looked amazing and it was hard to decide. I got the John Denver three egg omelette. It was stuffed to the gills with veggies and meat. I didn't care for the hash-browns, I wish I would have gotten the potatoes that came with the hash. My husband got the corned beef hash and that was amazing. The corned beef melted in your mouth. There was a great selection of hot sauces. Coffee comes in cute handmade mugs that are for sale. Would love to come back again when we are passing through. There are so many things I want to try. The service was quick and friendly. read more

I made it back again and had a great Sunday lunch. Funny enough, I got the same thing I got last time! Turkey, bacon, and avocado grilled sandwich. It came with a side a chips (mini bag of Kettle chips). My kiddo ordered a cup of chowder (one of her favorite things) and she devoured the whole cup. They helped me out by adding the chowder as an upgrade to my meal so it came out cheaper than ordering is separately. Love a place that helps me save money! Great little place nestled in Nye Beach. Luckily, today was unseasonably warm outside, so we chose one of the two picnic tables. Waiter came out right away with menus. Order the shrimp salad and cup of clam chowder. Food came out fast and fresh. Two people could share this salad! It was arranged perfectly on a large plate, with plenty of shrimp and toasted cheese bread. Great salad! The cup of clam chowder was thick, hot, and tasty with visible clam. I've been several times in the last couple years and this last visit did not disappoint. My Blythe Breakfast burrito was absolutely delish -- who knew pairing polenta with eggs, beans and avocado would have such a great mouth feel? Hefty, too; it's my new fave. Wifey's breakfast sando (the Jude) was off the hook as well. This place is usually busy for good reason - plus they make their own bread. We stopped in for a Saturday midday brunch and were pleasantly surprised. There were only a few other diners when we sat down but the place was packed when we left. The menu is very extensive, my wife ordered the huevos rancheros and I got the spicy tuna melt. We finished everything as it was del. Biscuits are homemade and the jam is real fruit in-house made as well. Hash browns were a bit undercooked, but still edible. Coffee was very good. The cups are made by a local artist. AMBIANCE // Eclectic beach vibes meets boho. They pull it together very well. Spacious with just enough tables. Small ball area that serves alcoholic drinks as well. And a breakfast bar. Nye Beach Cafe was a wonderful surprise for us on our final morning in Newport. The indoor tables were all full, but it was just warm enough to sit outside in the shade, so we opted for that. The service was friendly, and as fast as can be expected for having a busy dining room. I wasn't wanting anything too heavy, so I decided to go with the Breakfast Bowl -- a mix of pinto and black beans, Spanish rice, roasted green chiles; and served with two scrambled eggs, salsa, sour cream, and corn tortillas. It was perfect. The flavors of the beans were totally authentic Mexican, and the tortillas were thick and flavorful. I topped it all with the salsa and some hot sauce, and my taste buds were dancing. The breakfast was definitely filling, but not so much that it prevented me from strolling around Newport. We'll definitely try to hit this spot again, next time we are in the area. read more

Yum! I ordered Jude's Breakfast sandwich. The homemade bread was delicious and perfectly grilled with scrambled eggs, spinach, cheese and avocados. So good! My husband had the Blythe's Burrito and enjoyed it as well. Our friend ordered a fruit bowl and 2 pancakes. We had the corned beef can't remember the name but it was mixed with peppers and onions and was topped with two fried eggs! Service was also top tier the cook even came out and gave us the most delicious hot oil to top the eggs of! The coziest little cafe super packed which is always a great sign!
