Cute little cafe in Newport. They have all sorts of creative branded products in their gift display so make sure to check those out. Came here for a much needed caffeine kick after a beach day. They have their drink menu on the wall, but a list of seasonal specials at the front counter, be sure to take a look! Ended up getting a latte and a seasonal drink (cardamom and maple latte). Both were great! Drinks were well balanced and had a good amount of caffeine in both. I was surprised that the seasonal drink wasn't too sweet, since at other places they tend to be. Definitely recommend coming here! It even has a couple of tables if you need to do some work. read more

I'm always on the hunt for a good coffee spot when we visit a new city. I'm looking for good branding, a nice aesthetic, and a passion for making good espresso. Luckily White Rabbit fit the bill. We stopped in pretty early on a rainy Sunday and all the tables were taken, a good sign. It's cute, clean, and the branding is on point. The lady at the counter was friendly, especially when I changed my mind at the last second and went for an iced drink instead of hot. I love that they make their own syrups, which is a great sign. I went with an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. I instantly regretted not trying their conejo or brown sugar syrups, but the vanilla latte was perfect. My husband had an iced coffee and enjoyed his as well. They did have a very small selection of pastries, the only thing I could even think to improve, maybe more selection. WOW, just WOW!!!! Their coffee is amazing that we had to come back 2 days in a row. We tried the ube, cookie butter, vanilla and matcha latte and they were all soooo good in their own different ways. Buttttt we LOVED the cookie butter it was insanely delicious, not overly sweet either just the perfectly amount of sweetness. I visited White Rabbit 3 times during my trip along the Oregon coast last week! It was hands down the best coffee my husband and I had in Oregon. I LOVED their signature drink the White Rabbit that's made with sweetened condensed milk! I tried it hot and iced and it was perfection both ways. The moment I saw my barista whip out the traditional matcha whisk and bowl I knew I came to the right establishment, with the right crowd. My wife and I had been in desperate need of just a decent coffee after a previous day of exploring the coast and encountering mid coffee after mid coffee. The logo was cute and the seasonal menu was intriguing so we came here to see what white rabbit had to offer. Although the seating inside is a little limited and the shop was full, it didn't take away from the calm and studious vibe of the place at all. Everyone was quiet and kept respectful distance from each other which I appreciated. Their coffee menu is not endless, which I always take as a good sign of dedication to the quality of each drink---but they still had several interesting and varied flavors to choose from that are completely unique to white rabbit. I first tried the passion fruit matcha lemonade, which blew me away before I even had a sip because of the immaculate preparation and presentation. And when I had my first taste I was blasted with tart fruity flavor that somehow wasn't overwhelming but literally made me drool. I had never had a matcha lemonade but I don't know if I could have another one ever again after this one because it wouldn't live up to white rabbit's. The chocolate covered strawberry coffee was equally as beautiful and gave me the contrast in flavor that I needed after the tropical lemonade, with such a light and creamy foam on top and incredible coffee taste that blended beautifully with chocolate and strawberry. How did the strawberry flavor taste so fresh? I never knew I could have these rich flavors in coffee that don't feel heavy after a couple of swigs, but still maintaining a full depth of flavor. Any way I look at it, white rabbit espresso is a one of a kind coffee shop that I can find no flaws in whatsoever. Obviously the interior should not take as much importance as the drinks itself, but let me tell you; walking inside this modern and well kept shop is an equal reflection of how fresh the drinks taste as well. Also also also, my cashier and barista were so nice, friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome in this space and I was so happy that I could enjoy and explore these unique drinks without having to go through judgmental hipster old men. Ohh me oh my!! This coffee spot has provided me with a completely new, unique coffee drinking experience. Actually, if you think you've tasted all that coffee has to offer, think again. We ordered the choco strawberry coffee and the matcha passion fruit lemonade. Both drinks were so fresh with perfectly balanced flavors! My writing skills are not enough to accurately describe how delicious these drinks were. (It was so good we couldn't even wait to leave the shop to start writing our reviews) Walking into White Rabbit Espresso, you're immediately met with a clean, calm, and cozy atmosphere. Their logo? Soo cute! They do not sacrifice visual aesthetic for quality. Illuminated by so much natural light, it's the perfect place to study or have a little coffee date. The baristas really know what they're doing and are committed to keeping customers happy. The coastal highway has lacked good quality coffee shops for a while, but with the addition of White Rabbit Espresso, that void is now being filled. A relatively newer establishment to the city of Newport, this cafe is doing things differently by being a true "cafe experience" in a town where coffee is mostly served via small drive-thru pop up spaces. The coffee is also crafted, as opposed to "made" - this distinction being in the time taken to curate the drink and the care that was taken in making the space welcoming and a place to build community. We ordered two items, the single origin Ethiopian pour over and the White Rabbit Latte with oat milk. The pour over was fairly good, and the barista was able to extract some pretty distinct flavors from the beans. The latte was also quite delicious. The one thing I would have liked more was having slightly more distinct flavor in the latte. It tasted slightly like a vanilla latte but with some additional flavors. We also got a cinnamon Pan de Muerto that was absolutely delicious. The bread is fluffy and was super fresh. All the other pastries looked delicious as well! read more

Coffee is phenomenal!!!!!! Love everything here the best in Newport but the service is horrible. We come at least twice a week and I can't even get a hello back from most of the young girls who work here. I get it's our slow season and work can be super slow and dreadful but if you don't like your job as someone in the industry try something else! We always tip well no matter the attitude we get and how consistent it is there. Just discouraging to go there as much as I'd like to. Owner is awesome but there definitely needs to be something told to the baristas there. read more

I have to say that this is probably the best and most unique coffee shop I've been to in Oregon! They have a pretty diverse selection which appears to be carefully curated-- Gourmet espresso/coffee menu, tea and even have cofftails! I don't think we even have this in SF. You could taste from their pour over that they are serious about coffee. The ladies behind the counter were friendly. I also liked the vibe inside the shop, lots of natural light coming in. It was interesting to see kids playing a board game on the floor. Overall surprised to find this in Newport but I guess I don't know the town that well.
