I wish I could give this place six stars. I took my family of six here, and what a hidden gem this place is! It's clearly a locals spot. Everyone is friendly, and the couple that run it will make you feel welcome. It reminded me of going to my grandmother's place when I was kid. Everyone gathered at the table and talking. It's a very small place and doesn't support many people which adds to the charm. I primarily rate a place on the quality of the food, which is absolutely amazing here, but the owners are what make the difference at this place. And yes, it's slightly on the expensive side, but considering all the food is hand made in house, it's worth every penny. Wait, every nickel, pennies are out of circulation now. Hands down, BEST breakfast my husband and I have ever had. We were so lucky to find this place during our weekend trip to Oregon for a friend's wedding. Beyond yum! This is truly a hidden gem with small town charm. It's quaint and cozy- tiny but warm and friendly- i wanted one of everything but settled for the traditional eggs Benedict- and it did not disappoint. The hollandaise sauce was on point! Generous heaps of ham, perfect poached eggs. I should have gotten the rhubarb crumble because even hours later I'm still fantasizing about it- and could have had home made ice cream with it! They're only open 830-11am, Fri-sun, so you gotta be up early and quick, but it is so worth it. The young boy at the seat next to me was extolling the virtues of the biscuits and the solo diner to my left enjoyed her hash- her first time trying it (sounds like she's a regular! I feel so lucky to have happened upon Arr Place on Sunday morning. The road it's on is more like a driveway and the restaurant is the ground floor of a house. There is no signage, just a chalk board that says that they are serving food (or not, if you go any time but Friday, Saturday, or Sunday mornings). There are 14 bar-type seats, and there is a friendly, but not cliquish, vibe. Everything is made in-house. I was lucky to visit when they offered eggs benedict with beef tenderloin (house-made english muffin and hollandaise, of course). My companion had a waffle with a scoop of home-made vanilla ice cream and real maple syrup. We also had a mocha chocolate chip scone to go. Quirky, friendly spot with amazing food. read more

The boys went with homemade ice cream and scrabbled eggs, because if you are making your own ice cream, why would you not have it for breakfast? This place is a true locals spot, and has a welcoming feel the second you walk it. The kitchen is open for viewing by the bar, and brain teaser games and books are all over the store that you can enjoy while waiting for your delicious food. My boyfriend had eggs and biscuits with potatoes. The biscuit was freaking amazing! Like I wanted to steal it from him. They also qualify eggs over easy as having a runny white, so if you want your white firm and yolk yunny you want it over medium. I had the huevos ranchero, on top of a polenta cake I believe, on top of beans with magical sauces melding together in a perfect harmony topped with cheese! I also had a grapefruit cheesecake with strawberry puree sauce, the acidity and blend of fruit flavors went wonderfully with the richness of the cheesecake. Love their slogan "eat dessert first because life is short" and I am not a dessert person but I did get one to go! It's all true. It's a house. You have to look closely down the path to see if they are open, but I walked unsuspectingly into one of the best breakfasts of my life. First off, the French Press coffee is a fool proof zinger of a start to your day. Complete with timer for proper steeping. We couldn't decide so we got BOTH the Huevos Rancheros and the Eggs Benedict. The Huevos is a total work of art. The masa cake with the eggs done perfectly with the avacado drizzle and not some runy ranchero sauce but more of an artful ancho sauce of perfect construction. Finally, I have eaten 1000 eggs Benedict in my life. Fancy ships, bistros, and they nailed it perfectly with noticeable lemon in the Hollandaise. Extraordinary baked goods. Found this amazing hidden gem on yelp , wasn't too sure what to expect. This house has a neighbor vibe you can kick back on the couch while you are waiting for a seat. There is about 3 tables and seats at the kitchen bar area . It's defiantly worth the wait to see this husband and wife team up and make your mouth water with anticipation. Play with a puzzle and check out all the knick nacks and books . They make all there ice cream and they suggest to start with dessert while your meal is being prepared, we tried the chocolate hazelnut! Yummmmm . I had the eggs Benedict which was seriously AMAZING.
