Outside view

I got the 2012 Syrah and enjoyed it quite a bit, even though I'm not too much of a red wine person. The staff were great, giving a nice glass recommendation and also explaining the individual glasses to each patron. The place itself is nice, with a great little souvenir shop for tourists, even with some classic books that you can sit and read while you sip. Now the most important part is the view. There's a back door patio area that lets you see the devil's punchbowl area from a side that you cannot see normally. Even if you don't go to wineries, go here just for the view alone. One of the most beautiful places ever

I loved everything about this shop. When you first walk in, it's a cute little gift shop area and the wine counter. The owner and the person working the counter were both incredibly charming and lovely to chat with. Our favorite part, by far, was sitting out in the back of the shop while sipping wine. An absolute hidden gem!

Flying Dutchman Pinot Noir

Horrible!! We basically bought a $50 bottle of water! I taste tested 2 wines which they charge $4 each for. I went with the Pinot Noir which the subtract the tasting fee for that wine only if you purchase it. We are on vacation so we popped it open right away. It was definitely not what I tasted earlier! What a joke. I'm pissed! And the guy could've been nicer that sold us the wine too. Not only was it a waste of money but now we have no wine. This is literally grape colored water. Thanks for punching us in the gut Flying Dutchman!!

Cute place for photo in the back outdoor seating area

Two of us had a little wine tasting, it was different, she just poured them at the front desk and we stood and talked with her. I thought she was so amazing, so kind and informative. She also had her handmade jewelry, we bought two bracelets which are really cute. The winery itself is very small, the outside area with the view is very cute and the view is so gorgeous. Depending on what you like/expect, this is a really cute place to visit. If you like more high end experiences, probably skip this one.

Tasty wine with this killer view.

Lovely little winery with a fantastic location. During COVID-19, they allow one party in the tasting room at a time. What we did was seat ourselves at a table in their patio area and send one member of our party into the tasting room to bring back tastes for everyone. The view from the patio area is fantastic and we really enjoyed our stop. We left with several bottles of their tasty wine!

Enjoying some Pinot Gris with an ocean view!

A very nice winery! I was here with family and they really enjoyed the red wines that they had. I went the white wine route and got a wonderfully refreshing Pinot Gris. A family member had the risling which was very good as well but my heart lies with the Pinot for sure. The tasting room has a outdoor area in the back where you can enjoy the wine and at certain tables enjoy the ocean view. There is a very nice gift shop at the front of the building with all kinds of wine themed gifts and postcards. Service was friendly making our time here all the more enjoyable.

Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Thought it was cute, the wine was good, the ladies were nice. Views were beautiful!

Outdoor seating area

Such a cool stop! We've visited Otter Rock for years and never knew the winery was there. A friend gave me a bottle of the blackberry wine from here and I knew I had to visit. A hidden gem. If you are a fan of sweet wines this is a great stop! I also had the 2012 Syrah and that was good as well. The outdoor seating is beautiful. Very relaxing with wonderful views of the ocean without the harsh wind. I will definitely be back. We left with half a case of the blackberry and raspberry wines. It's not the traditional wine tasting experience, but I enjoyed being able to go enjoy the views in the outside area.

We stopped here to have a small picnic and drink some sweet wines. The views are amazing and their are multiple picnic tables in the back. The winery doesn't serve food but allows you to bring your own. We tried 2 reds and a white and were pleased with them all. The pricing is not bad at all, very affordable to buy a few bottles to share with a group.

Wine was very tart. Not much complexity at all. Server was a bit rude. Only busy because they are one of the few tasting rooms around.

Depoe Bay Winery - Hanging bills & wine tasting.

We drove to Depoe Bay from Lincoln City to check out their winery. At first I was expecting it to…read morebe much larger, but it's actually really small nestled between two different businesses right on the bay. The winery is inside a small cave with so many dollar bills hanging from the walls and the ceiling. You can actually hang your own dollar bill on the ceiling/wall and decorate it with sharpies that they have on the counter. We really don't carry any cash these days so we didn't have anything to hang on their ceiling or the walls lol. The nice gentleman behind the counter showed us what kinds of wines they had available upon our entry. He explained to us that if we did at least three different tastings, then we would be able to buy a wine bottle for $10 off, in which we agreed upon. We tried the following wines - Chardonnay, peach, pear, and apple jack. My absolute favorites were the Chardonnay and the apple jack, while my boyfriend enjoyed the peach and the pear. The apple jack was kind of like apple juice but with alcohol mixed in. I loved the apple jack so much that we decided to buy a bottle of it. We were told that Depoe Bay Winery is able to ship their wines to Las Vegas, where we're visiting from, and the best part is that there's no sales tax involved when we buy from them when we get back home! Amazing! This is definitely something I'm looking forward to. Will highly recommend this winery to everyone visiting the Depoe Bay area. Great customer service and absolutely great tasting wine.
