I have never been wine tasting in the Willamette Valley before and was recommended Lingua Franca by a friend and I truly can't say enough about this experience! Each tasting is $40 but you get a price tasting inside an adorable yurt with snacks and a host to walk you through your tasting. We were lucky enough to be paired with Andrew and he completely blew our socks off. We walked away truly feeling like wine experts. The wine was delicious and the atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. We went to another winery after and it was hard to compare after this winery set the standard so high. Will definitely be recommending this spot to all.

This is a startup winery in Willamette Valley started by a master sommelier with a long record of working in the restaurant industry. Mr. Stone's first vintage was 2105 and received rave reviews from Wine Spectator. They have no tasting room at this time. You must schedule an appointment. Wines are light and lean, very Burgundian in style. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Somewhere online they mention that this place was dog friendly, I just wanted to confirm before hand?

Yes! We happily welcome well-mannered dogs in our tasting room.

Honeywood Winery was a great stop! When I went in I saw a nice wine selection but I was on the hunt…read morefor mead and they indeed did have some. In fact I had an idea they sold it (but don't ask me how and where I got it) so it wasn't really a shot in the dark that they would have it. I got a bottle of the Wild Mead which is more floral and kind of keeps the honey flavor more present. They had plenty of other flavors... berry flavors some I think but this particular one was what I wanted. The service was friendly and I had a nice conversation with the two employees there. The mead itself was wonderful! As I said it is more of a floral flavor with the honey presence at work. Refrigerate it and you got a very refreshing and flavorful beverage to sip with at the end of the day.

I first came across their brand at some tasting rooms on the coast and the Made in Oregon store but this is the first tome going to their headquarters. They do 4 tastings for $10 and have unique varities including some west coast berries like Huckleberry, loganberry and, our favorite of the tasting, Olallieberry. The bottles are also really affordable at around $14. Service was super friendly and great about describing the different flavors.
