All grapes grown right there, and they make just one varietal: Pinot Noir. The owners are pouring and they were very friendly. $5 will get you a flight of tastes, and you can apply the tasting fee to a purchase of a bottle of wine. We like Oregon pinots and are happy to have found TeBri. Reasonably priced & a neat little place to visit. Oh - and they also have a lavender labyrinth around a gazebo ~ which was past the blooming season when we visited. What always stirs the strongest memories/emotions are the earthy Pinots of OR's Willamette valley that we stumbled upon in those days. Over the years we found the style elusive, at least for us out of staters. All that changed this weekend - I found the last few miles driving to the property to be inspiring - this is as picturesque as it gets for me when visiting a winery. The setting alone is worth the drive. Tasting the wines makes the trip exceptional. Brian, the owner, is a super swell host. Honest to a fault and very passionate about his Pinots. It shows in the wine. This is what I remembered about OR and what makes me regretful about having left. Brian is what makes me happy to return and inspired about tasting Pinots again. The really special wine is only available to farm family (wine club) members. Today we sampled the 2017 offerings paired with the tastiest morsels prepared in the cottage kitchen. We warmed up in front of the open fireplace and enjoyed the other guests company while Stephen, big beard and all, floated around. The grounds of the property are open for guests to explore, which makes it the perfect option for wine tasting during the covid-era. They have orchards, vineyards, benches and picnic tables, all spread out throughout the property. It's a great place to wander while sipping through your wine flight, whether you come during covid or not. This winery has done a good job following precautions during this season, so I wouldn't hesitate to come in. They are using plastic cups for tastings for the time being, and as mentioned, everything is outdoors and very distanced. I personally really enjoy their Gewurztraminer, and they have a couple of good Pinots as well as some other whites. Bottles are pretty affordable and staff is friendly--they even have a staff dog who of course, loves to receive pets. If you need a quick and easy getaway, this is your place!
