What a great spot! We stayed the night here because this business is in the Harvest Host program and allowed us to park our travel van in their lot. We grabbed a few beers and found out that it was bingo night so we stayed and played. We didn't win but we had a good time. It's a very big facility with seating inside and outside and they have a food truck on premise all the time for food. The girl behind the bar was great! Fantastic service and she ran the bingo! The bathroom is small (just big enough to sit on the toilet) and has pictures of various dogs pooping. I think it just adds to the quirky character of this place. Friendly staff in an open family atmosphere with attention to detail in every way. Tonight's BBQ event for CASA was outstanding. The 5 bbq teams worked for the previous 24 hours to provide tonights guests with both pork and beef presentations for judging. I might say the guests were the winners tonight with all the delicious food and beverages.. but I would be incorrect as the Kids of CASA as the real winners here with proceeds going to charity. We have been planning this for awhile. So glad we finally made it. We love the Music Bingo and their food is yummy too. They do let minors come in, so our kids love coming for BINGO. My favorite distillery and brewery of all time! The chill vibe and relaxed atmosphere matched my soul! We had a great night, first with a tasting of the spirits then hanging out with some awesome regulars, amazing bartender and new visitors. Deluxe Brewing is also Sinister Distillery so make sure you sample those too, they're spot on and lots to taste. The Pineapple Rum won our vote for the night but I'll be returning soon for that gin, it's got a very unique and full flavor. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be returning! read more

We went here for dinner and drinks when stopping in Albany for a night on our road trip! We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was laid back but really cool. They had shuffleboard tables and plenty of seating. The whole place is dog friendly too! They also had a tent outside with seating but we sat inside since it was very chilly the day we went. The drinks were good and reasonably priced- they're a brewery and distillery so they have a ton of options. They have a small food truck outside and the food was amazing! They had a good amount of options and the portion sizes were big! The prices were on the cheaper end for the quality and amount you get! We definitely enjoyed our stop here! read more

I recently was on a trip in the Corvallis area and was hitting as many breweries as I could find! I was very fortunate to have had Deluxe Brewing on my list! It was one of my favorite breweries that I went to. For one I love their movie posters up by the bar... especially the Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill! poster. But I did indeed come here for beer and that's what I got. I had a delightful pilsner that I was extremely impressed with! The flavor of that beer was just fantastic! The taproom is cool too. Stellar beer and spirits in the most relaxed atmosphere imaginable. Food is now available (Tues-Sat) from a permanent truck outside and is awesome. Short and simple menu has all of the hits and vegetarian options. Food is far better than it has to be, with an especially unique chili dog from local Pepper Tree sausages. 'Diabolic' is their newish double IPA that is sharp and hoppy and unexpectedly smooth for a double. Diabolic indeed. Honestly, just here to say I walked in the other day, not one person was masked, including the bartender.

Five stars is a rarity for me. Five star requires excellence in beer, atmosphere, service, and a knowledgeable beer-tender. Deluxe got top marks from me in all these categories. My only disappointment, after looking in the map, was that I thought it would be right on the river. It's not. No big loss. The inside is decorated with all sorts of interesting artifacts. The outside patio is peaceful and pleasant. I know we all differ in our tastes for beer, but I found all 8 beers in my flight to be drinkable, with a few I thought were excellent. Service also was perfect. I wish I remembered the lady's name. She was very enthusiastic and attentive. She came out to check on us several times, though she was working alone and it is a long walk from the bar to the patio... We also went home with the Apple whiskey!! EXCELLENT!!! read more

Deluxe Brewing and Sinister Distiller was a hidden gem! We stayed here as a "Harvest Host", where we park our RV overnight and eat at the restaurant. The harvest host portion was easy to get into, even with our 40 ft. Rig. As far as the food goes, WOW! Don't be fooled by the small food truck that they cook in, because the food was absolutely delicious! The double cheeseburger with secret sauce was juicy, mouthwatering goodness! The fries were crunchy! Pretzel was also crunchy, with solid beer cheese. The beer is definitely noticeable in the flavor, though. The cheese quesadilla was also a big hit. My wife got the cider, which she enjoyed. I had myself double old fashion's, which I will say was definitely a little light on the pour, but the price made up for it (not very expensive). The whiskey itself was pretty good, with a nice aroma to it. The bartender was very friendly. You do go to the bar to order drinks, but they whip out drinks pretty quickly. Starting a tab is easy, but they do keep your card, so just don't forget that on the way out. They do have 2 massive shuffle board tables, which were covered when we came in, but all you have to do is ask, and the manager will set it up, turn on the lights, and even LOAD your table up to with brand new salt for the table--I've been to a lot of bars, and I've never seen a more helpful, awesome experience of a bar setting up a shuffle board table like that. The manager didn't do this for us, we just observed him do it for another patron, but way to go! That was awesome. The place was pretty busy on a Friday night, but there were a few tables available. The crowd was fun and loud, with sports on big TV's. This was a hidden gem and needs to be sought out if you're in the area! Great job Deluxe Brewery! read more

Great spot but beer is always sub par. Always come back hoping for something better. Overheard a conversation recently with the owner and a patron that really rubbed me the wrong way. He was short and rude to a lady and her kids about where they were at in the bar. He could've handled the situation much better considering his staff was giving differing information on where kids could be in the bar. read more

This is a review I should have typed weeks ago. Sue and I came here on a day trip down to Albany the day after Christmas and it has been going around and around in my head since that time. We love checking out breweries wherever we go. We had been to another brewery in Albany a year or so back and would have gone back there had Deluxe not come up on our Yelp search. Deluxe is actually a "brewstillery" which means they do beer and hard alcohol. Well, not hard alcohol yet, but they will be soon. Can't say I had ever been to a brewstillery before, but now that word is a part of my vocabulary. Not much for food here aside from chips and salsa and free pretzels, but they allow you to order food in and apparently many places in Albany will deliver. There is also a BBQ cart outside in the back and a few of the people we spoke to while we were there said it was good including the woman behind the bar who told us she was originally from Texas. They usually know their bbq. Great big space here. They have live music on occasion. It is mostly acoustic as the place is large and loud music just bounces around. The beers were very good. Sue and I each did a flight of what they had on offer. On the day we were there they had a Pilsner, Schwarzbier, Hefeweizen, Amber Lager and a Dunkelbock. Would love to come by this place during the summer to see what that is like. Maybe they will have some of their gin ready at that point. Looking forward to it. read more

Flat out fantastic brewery in Albany, Oregon. What a find while camping in the area. The gal beertending was so nice, and it was great conversing while sitting at the bar. We had a flight and tasted all their beers, and there wasn't a single one we didn't enjoy. Usually I'm not a Mexican lager fan, but their Nine Juan Juan was really quite delicious and I had a pint after the flight. We also ordered their cheese sampler that comes from a local quessorilla, as a recommendation of the beertender, and it was truly unforgettable! It's a big old warehouse will an awesome vibe, shuffle board, corn hole, and ping pong. I wish we had a brewery like this in our town. Can't wait to visit again someday. read more

I had their Wild Beaver Amber Lager and Resurrection Pilsner. Both are very good beers. I've definitely become a Bend/Sunriver beer snob, because the choices seem infinite. Deluxe is in a totally different class, though.................in a good way. I could taste the difference and was amazed. The pilsner was extremely refreshing and would be perfect on a hot summer day. The lager was full of hoppy flavor, but not too much and wasn't "heavy" like some darker IPA's that I've had. I appreciated it's smoothness...................probably too much, because it was very easy to drink and I had at least a few that I can remember. :) Good job, Deluxe! The brewery is small, and has a personal feeling. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. I even met the owner/brewer and he was friendly as well. He welcomed me into the brewing area and talked about the process. Stop in sometime, I highly recommend Deluxe. read more

Where to start with Deluxe Brewing? Hmmm... They don't brew a vast variety of beers. But Deluxe is a stickler for their German-style brews, which is pretty bold considering that so many Oregon brewers are beginning to up the ante for creativity. However, when you think about it, the idea isn't a bad one. They honor hundreds of years of tradition, and that is to be commended. If you are familiar with mainstays of German brewing, then you know what Deluxe will have in store. Their beers are, on average, excellent, if not really original. But they don't appear to be aiming for originality points. Really what Deluxe does is provide an alternative to the Bud and Coors heavy watering holes which dominate Albany. Being just down the street from Calapooia promises some fun Friday nights. My only gripe is the lack of food options, and that being so spacious the bar can get chilly in the colder months. It is basically an empty warehouse with a brewery and bar. However, in total, they are a must for anyone with a taste for good beer sailing through the Willamette Valley. read more

Stopped by Deluxe to get some 'Dunkel the Halls' - a beer we tried and loved at the PDX ale fest. We were lucky enough to get some (they are on their last keg - so hurry and get yours, too!). We were double lucky to have sat next to the owner, who was the most genuinely humble and unassuming guy. Seriously. Super nice guy. We've come here several times in the past. Barkeeps are super nice and friendly. And, we love the beer. It's lower in carbonation than other beers - which is great for me. I love beer, but can't drink much if it's heavily carbonated. first of all, the venue is just amazing! it's a huge warehouse with old tables, a shuffleboard, a ping-pong table, and a big bar it's a perfect hangout, especially in the summer, and you can order takeout from anywhere in Albany and and stay for a while (they even have all the menus) the service is kind and makes you feel at home their beers are perhaps a little simple in style, but overall good, and their gin is great, if a little expensive (35$ a bottle) read more

A very chill and fun place to relax. We've gone as a group multiple times to be greeted by the same bartender. The Wild Beaver we had at another establishment is what caused us to check it out. After trying a sampler, we really liked 10/12 beers. We don't like IPAs, and even their IPA is great and well balanced. They don't have a kitchen, but provide a list of nearby places that deliver, or you can bring your own food! There is plenty of seating, some shuffleboard, and large tables for big gatherings. They also use the large wooden wire spindles for outside tables. So on those nice Albany days you can hang out side with your beer. The closest thing I can compare it to is when you go to a friends place to hang out. Deluxe Brewing and Southpaw are two regular spots we go to when we go to Albany. Last time we went, a couple patrons had their dogs with them, so it makes me assume they are pet friendly, but haven't confirmed. read more
