Party of 3 on a road trip. Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon. Greeted promptly and friendly. Found a seat at a both with an awesome vintage storage chest table. Ordered drinks only as we had already ate. All were good. Everyone was happy. Facilities are clean. Definitely stop by if you are thinking about it. read more

Went for the first time and ordered two burgers to go. After 30 minutes, I had to track a staffer and ask her to check my order. Then 5 minutes later, she finally goes to check. I wait another 5 minutes and she had my order and says "oh, it was sitting there in the kitchen." WTF!! I return home and look at my burger... meat is lightly cooked on the outside, raw on the inside. Separated the patty to microwave it. I'll never eat here again. Terrible service and "don't care" cooking staff. read more

Forget tomorrow, service is already dead here. We waited over 40 mins for 2 burgers and a brat. Sat down and ordered drinks, they took at least 5 mins to come and then we placed our food order: wings, a bowl and 2 burgers. We finished our drives and no one came over to check on us. We had to walk up to the bar to order and even after that it took another 15 mins for beers. Food is a whole other story. The burger was ok but never had I waited so long at a brew pun for burger. Honestly, not even at a higher end restaurant have I waited so long for a burger. My kid, who waited over 40 mins for a cheeseburger, and said something to the server, was actually told to go cry in front of the chef cause "that might hurry things along". Pretty absurd customer service. I understand having a large party slam the kitchen but that's no excuse for inattentive service, rudeness or slow beers (at a brewpub much less- doesn't take long to pour a beer). I had high hopes after reading reviews but I'm very disappointed. I do not recommend and will not return after this. read more

Stopped by before I called it a night after driving all day. Server was friendly and I had the amber ale. It was perfect for a night cap. Even though the place is in a random spot, the actual decor and games were fun. read more

We found for tomorrow we die to be a fun place to have happy hour. My sister enjoyed the lottery game room. We sampled some beers and ciders and a few happy hour items. The standout drink was the Spanish coffee. The bartenders flair for creating the drink was a plus. We were new guests and had never been here before. Our bartender went above and beyond to make use feel welcomed. We had a great time! My sister said she went back for Saturday brunch and it was extremely long wait for a table and was very packed. read more

I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. 8 of us made a reservation there on a Sunday evening after the Oregon half ironman and arrived at 630pm. Needless to say, we were hungry. It took the waitress 2 tries and 45 minutes to get our drinks, which consisted of 6 diet cokes, a cocktail, and a glass of wine (not hard). And she refused to put in any food until she had gotten our drinks. When we finally did get to ordered food, they were out of several things on the menu and it was at least another 45 minutes until anything showed up. The first thing dropped off was 1 appetizer (for 8 people). This was followed maybe 15 minutes later by 2 entrees. Which were followed another 20 minutes later by the remaining 6 entrees, at least 2 of which were wrong. I got the burger, which was basically a hockey puck. Overall, it was a miserable two hours with the most incompetent and unpleasant restaurant staff I have ever encountered. Please save yourself the misery and skip this place. read more

Menu looked great with gourmet variations. Welcoming was slow and off putting. They are severely understaffed and have no problem letting you know and waiting. Good luck to ya'all. read more

The sliders were honestly pretty good! We really liked the pickled onion on them. We liked the Brussel sprouts and thought they were the best out of the bunch! We however were unimpressed with their flavorless fries, chalky pretzel and their beer cheese was... just not good. The waitress did take a while to get to us for our drink order and then did not accept and ID. He's literally 30 so we thought it was a bit ridiculous but chose not to say anything cause she's just doing her job. But then the orders got switched around and we didn't get the correct things. Sigh.. whatever we'll deal with it. The setting inside of the building is definitely the best part. read more

This spot is a gem and dangerously close to my climbing gym. They've got a fun setup with games, pinball tables, and just an easygoing, chill vibe all around. Plus, their kitchen is actually a cute little food truck parked outside. I've had the burger a few times and the pork slider, both are seriously tasty. They also have a burger with marionberry jam and peanut butter... I haven't been brave enough to try it yet, but honestly, I'm probably just one beer away from making it happen. Great beers on tap, a full bar if you're feeling adventurous, and the service is always super friendly and fast. Definitely recommend if you're looking for good food, cold drinks, and a place where you might make a few questionable (but delicious) food decisions. read more

Owner is rude. Service is not OK. Food is good. would not bother my time again driving all that way out of town for this type of stuff.

Enjoyed this place a couple times now and lived it both times. Not a huge menu, which usually indicates their focus is quality, and that has held true for us. Pulled pork, hamburgers, grilled cheese, and salad have all proven delicious and drinks have been above average as well. Also, dogs are allowed inside, which is lots of fun! Last time we were there is was quite busy so service wasn't fast, but we weren't in a hurry so it didn't bother us and they are always friendly. Recommended! read more

Great beer! Great food! Great service! The Trifecta of places to go for enjoyment, highly recommend. Appealing ambiance.

Beer was good, but we waited almost an hour for our appetizers, only got 3/4 of them, and what we got was not hot. Cool vibes, but don't bring kids you expect to be able to feed. read more

Was in the area and searching for a late lunch. This spot is super cozy, and the staff are all super friendly. I got a tasty beer flight which was good across all styles from their IPAs to their oatmeal stout. I got the pulled pork sandwich with the side salad. The pulled pork sandwich had good flavor and spice. I liked that the side salad had a bunch of gun textures. Would totally come back some time! read more

Solid beer, food, and environment. My fiancee and I had 2 beers, samosas, and tots, and we were greatly satisfied. The house beer (Griffin's Gold) was $6, rotating beer (Ciderboys Pineapple Cider) was $7, tots were $5, and samosas were $10. The Griffin's Gold was a pleasant sipping ale without any bad notes but nothing great that stands out. The cider was amazing. You get a good mound of tots and choice of sauce with each order. An order of samosas comes with 3 pieces and an amazing sauce. We ended up dipping the tots in that sauce, too. (I believe all of their recipes come from the Taproot.) The booth we sat in was cool. Pew-like benches around lounge-style tables that look like storage chests. There's outdoor seating and a mini pinball arcade area. read more

My husband is always finding breweries in out-of-the-way places... Here we are at For Tomorrow We Die. The ambience is stellar. Beautifully appointed and very pleasant. Our waiter was Luis. I ordered the brussels sprouts with the bacon, goat cheese and balsamic vinegar. With a sauce I'm not sure of the name. I really liked the combination of flavors with the brussels sprouts. However, some of the bacon was so tough that I couldn't chew it and some of the brussels sprouts were not cooked enough and I had to get a steak knife to cut them. My husband got the Bangor to Die For. Over all we like this place a lot and we will be back. read more

The service was great. People were helpful, friendly, and timely. The atmosphere was very relaxed and easy to be in. The food was very clean feeling and tasting. If you are wanting a greasy burger this is not the place. The pulled pork sandwich was good, but the bun was very soggy. Had to eat the entire sandwich without the opportunity to put it down. The nachos looked fantastic, but lacked in the savory beer cheese taste. Could have used more protein which is am extra cost. If I knew I wasn't going to get much chicken, I wouldn't have added it for an addition 4.50 read more

Situated in the old SAW Brewing site, this establishment has improved upon the layout of its former tenants. The feel is warmer, more aesthetically pleasing, and just generally has a cooler vibe. With some foliage, a nice blend of steel and wood, rugs, and music droning non-intrusively in the background, I instantly felt comfortable here. My Porter was excellent. And the service was stellar. This is a new place, and like all new establishments, it's gonna have some growing pains, at least in theory. But I didn't feel them. I'm really looking forward to see how they grow in the future. read more

I cry tears of happiness. We came in at 10 pm at night, Salem is a sleepy town so it's hard to find a sit down place that's open late. We were nervous for coming in an hour before closing because we didn't want to be THAT customer, but we were also starving and didn't want fast food. The person working was so kind and didn't rush us at all. Even bantered and joked with us to pass the time. FOOD Bomb. We tried the brussel sprouts to start with, OG burger, and pulled pork. Quite honestly, Salem is hard to find good food joints (sorry don't @ me, from LA). Brussel sprouts serving was massive, and highly recommend getting them loaded. The goat cheese? blue cheese? went so well with it. So kwispy. So yummy. The OG burger was perfect for people who didn't want super rich like the pulled pork. The patty was so yummy, I like my food on the saltier side and the patty had the perfect amount of saltiness. Not to mention the onion rings were awesome. The pulled pork was also good for the richer side. The pickled vegetables inside were a great balance to the heaviness of the pork. And the twisted fries were awesome and fun to eat. Oh and the dipping sauce it comes with was delicious as well. PLACE Ambience was super cool. Really big and thematic. I imagine this place gets really busy on weekend nights. Check it out if you're in the area! read more

A team of instructors visited this brewery after having completed a somewhat difficult day of teaching in Salem. It was a little bit difficult to find the brewery, but fortunately I was in a different vehicle following other instructors. We were seated promptly upon our arrival. One of the appetizers is one of my wife's favorite, loaded Brussels Sprouts. She has them for her main course at other places we eat, when they are available. She really enjoyed them. The selection of "tasty adult beverages'" on tap did not leave any of us "wanting." I found a very tasty IPA and was happy with my selection. The dining area was clean, open, bright, and "airy." Our server was knowledgeable about the products and helped with the selections. Bottom line: I would recommend this place for a casual dining experience as long as you enjoy beers, ales, etc. read more

If I could Give this place 0 stars I would. It was my very first time at this brewery I actually came here because of the great reviews. Great Brewery and food!!! Next time I'm in town gonna stop by for sure!. Locals need to definitely check out this place. Our server Matador was awesome and all his recommendations were spot on delicious. Burger and seasoned fries were some of the best I ever had. We have been here a few times and it's always been great except for the lunch we had on 10/27. We arrived at around 1:30 to have a bite to eat before heading down to Eugene for a family get together kater in the evening. We ordered about 15 minutes after seated, we started with a beer flight and fries. We did not get the fries until about 2:20 ish. We finished those and waited for our waitress. She came back to us around 3pm? To take our order for dinner. At around 3:50 we decided after waiting for over 3 hours to eat something, that we changed our mind. The waitress we had threw this tantrum and started yelling at me and bursted through the door while saying "I'm getting you to go boxes then!" The other customers asked if we were okay, if she was okay in to which I just kind of stood there in shock. She came back, threw the two boxes down and said "since yall are in a hurry I'm waiting TIGHT HERE" I told her we're paying for everything but we do not want the food anymore She then reached crossed aggressively and took the ticket and loudly announced how stupid this was. She came back to us saying "SO FOR FUTURE REFERENCE, IM HERE BY MYSELF IF YOU NEEDED TO BE SO.EWHERE TELL US IN ADVANCE" we weren't in a rush..we just didn't know we had to plan to wait over 3 hours to eat. Everyone else who were there after us were fed and almost finished. I didn't get the young ladies name, she has brown hair, maybe late 20s early 30s. I have never been spoken to before this way, and coming from customer service would never ever do anything like this to a customer. Unfortunately we won't be returning back, and will be telling others who we reference to go here about what happened, which I'm sure that was the waitresses end goal. read more

Worst, slowest service. 3 wait staff and the "manager" and only 12 clientele and still cant get someone to come to the table for an order.

Been here twice within a 4 day span and both visits were great. The vibe felt welcoming and just good all around. Their in-house beer is tasty, specifically the hazy. They also do cocktails and have guest beers on tap. Food seems to be from Tap Root Lounge, which supplies vegan yummies if you have dietary restrictions. They allow pups!! Or at least a worker had theirs there and it was adorable. :) Will definitely be a spot we will visit often! read more
