    "Wedge" salad
    Michelle R.

Awful Took forever to get greeted when walked in, I asked if we can seat ourselves outside they said "just give us one minute", they did say it nicely but the restaurant is dead. Ordering was quick but they were out of the blueberry beer I ordered and the iceberg for wedge. I took the recommended peach cider and got the wedge with romaine I will say my salad was really good, ranch was made in house and was fire Peach cider tasted like flat rose lol Fried Mushrooms were subpar - no real flavor Friend got salon tacos with beans, she said beans were good but salmon lacked flavor as well Lastly, my other friend got burger and fries, burger tasted frozen to quick cook and fries were old and hard like under heat lamp for awhile. Table would not level and even had napkins under legs to hold in place, was incredibly annoying I don't recommend and wouldn't come back sadly Server was sweet Fried mushroom

Good food but they did get my burger order very wrong. Appetizers were probably better than my entree, drinks were delicious though! Big space with indoor and outdoor seating, but lacks parking.

Great lil spot!! Ambiance was nice and full of energy. Our server was engaging and personable. Food was good pub food. Nothing spectacular, I had the Firehouse burger with a Brioche bun. Great Smokey flavor. Fries were okay, nothing spectacular. My only issue was the beer, out of my flight of six beers, I only thought two were good enough to finish. The awakening was too coffee forward and bitter. The saison flavor seemed muted and lacked balance. The Blueberry lacked any berry notes and the barrel aged was way too Smokey and lacked depth of flavor.

The restaurant at Gilgamesh Brewing is a welcoming, rustic spot where you can enjoy great beer and good food in a laid-back atmosphere.  The look and feel of the venue belies the fact that it's situated in an industrial park area of SE Salem, right near a busy road.  The deck in the rear is shaded and covered with lots of seating and tables available.  Both their beer and food tasting flights are first-tier! Tip: The Campus is Galgamesh's flagship restaurant, located just one door down from the brewery. We've visited here a couple of times recently, and, very much enjoyed the attentive, friendly service, not to mention their excellent food and beer.  My go-to meal as of late is: - Fire House Burger (1/3 lb. Wagyu beef pattie topped with red onion, house pickled jalapeños, Tillamook pepper jack cheese, peppered bacon, avocado and cayenne aioli on a grilled Teleera roll. - Stoney Fries (Stoney's hand-cut fries topped with chipotle sour cream, shredded cheese, peppered bacon and green onions). When the weather is warm I prefer their outdoor seating area, but there's a very cozy-looking indoor dining room which features a fireplace - I look forward to enjoying my meals here as the weather turns cooler :-)

Drunken mushrooms, Gorgonzola burger, and chicken strips and fries

We stopped by on a Friday night on the way down to Bend and we're thoroughly impressed with everything- the staff, the food and the facilities. The fried mushrooms were awesome. And not just button mushrooms, like REAL mushrooms and the ranch they came with was awesome as well. The Gorgonzola burger was massive and perfectly cooked. The chicken strips were pretty good as well, but I wouldn't come here for them. The fries were great and portions were huge. The beers were pretty delicious. I'm not an IPA person but my partner enjoyed them. I had two of the special tap beers and liked them a lot as well. We would love to come back for an event on their lawn sometime. The staff was super friendly to our dog and even fed her a cup of whipped cream with bacon bits on the top!

Another stellar experience earns the all coveted, 5th and FINAL star. Came in tonite to find that their card system was down. So the fam grabbed a table and got settled in while I ran down the street for cash @ the nearby ATM (this kid only does electronic pay). Our server Addi was super sweet and kind, gave us just the right amount of time and space to figure things out... couple kids in tow and all (lol)! We grabbed some fried green beans and some buffalo wings to start. The youngins had the ginormous cheeseburger off the kids menu (awesome burger and value) and wifey and I shared the chimichurri steak. I had to grab a flight of their brews to sample... variety is the spice of life, right? All were filling, delicious and on point! When the bill came, the flight was there but with a zero $ amount. I pointed it out to Addi to get it corrected (integrity is a trait I hold dear). She was super cool about it and explained it was like that on purpose and that she appreciated us staying to eat even though their system was down... her way of going above and beyond to take care of us given their card system issue. These are the kind of gestures and level of customer service deserving of extra stars even if the food didn't match...which is not the case here. For all this and more, this place is absolutely earned MY 5 STARS!

The portions here were plentiful and the food was great. I had the Mac and cheese tossed in Cajun sauce with pulled pork and bacon. It comes with green peppers and onions but I asked for them without. My girlfriend got the butternut sauce ravioli and loved the sauce and taste. And best of all? That's just the food! This place is a brewery. I had a Turkish coffee stout that was amazing. Portion was fantastic for my Mac and cheese and average for the butternut squash ravioli. Prices were pretty moderate as well.

Great beer and food with a beautiful outdoor patio. They serve Oregon wines too. The beer flight is the wait to go. 4 oz pours! The Mac and cheese is rich and creamy. I had my chicken sandwich minus the bread. They are following COVID protocols. Plenty of parking in the attached lot. I wish they served their desserts with ice cream.

Stopped by on Mother's Day. I was delighted with the service and speed on a busy day. The atmosphere was great with inside seating that looked inviting and plenty of covered outdoor seating. I had the mamba, it is great. It has a refreshing taste and is unique, which can be hard to find these days. My husband had the Doug Firocious. We had to buy a six pack on our way out he loved so much. The food was great. I had a chicken and bacon burger and tomato spinach soup that tasted great. Only drawback was the plating. It tasted great but looked, well plain. Definitely coming back

Ambience, live music , the service, try the stoney fries. Get yourself some wings and Mac n cheese. Toss in a cold brew and your set.

    Are pets welcome?

Yes they are allowed on our patio. But not in the covered area if there are other patrons dining. In summer we take down the covered area.

    Gluten free burger options?

There is a gluten free bun available.

The house-made tartar and fry sauces were very good. A full house kept the staff busy, but they were still attentive and friendly. A band was about four songs into their set when I left. The house sound system does a great job of making sure everyone can hear the band, but the overall noise level was such that folks had to shout to have a conversation. They do post an entertainment schedule, so if you go there to visit with friends, do it when there are no bands playing. From prior experience, I highly recommend the "Dave's Insane" sandwich.

It wasn't crowded when I arrived, around 3 or 4pm. Service was very friendly and relaxed. It had a comfortable, friendly vibe. It seems this place has a lot of regulars, because a couple groups came in after me and were greeted by name. It was Tuesday, which meant the Happy Hour menu was available all day. The prices were quite reasonable, and we got plenty of food. We ordered the Korean Street Tacos, and Curried chicken lettuce wraps and the cheeseburger with hand cut fries. Everything was delicious. The Korean tacos were a nice mixture of fresh veggies and rich meat flavors as well as some heat. The wraps were generously filled with a great classic chicken salad with curry, and had a great crunch. The burger was juicy and rich, was a good size and had a yummy brioche bun. The fries were cooked well and the ranch was creamy with a dilly kick. This was some solid food at a great price. Apparently Tuesday is trivia night, but we left before that started. This is a great place for some great food. I can see why this place has regulars!

Cozy and not too loud. Their specials menu of select food and drinks was nice, but I was a but disappointed to learn that the only non-alcoholic offering was a canned golden beer (and soft drinks, water - haha, per our server). They did have a decent selection of draft beer. I shared that many restaurants are offering mocktails and that they're missing an opportunity there. The table ordered a sampling of the menu; Korean tacos, Caesar salad, Mac & Cheese, Burger and fries, and Lettuce wraps. Drinks included strawberry lemonade, draft beer, wine, and ice tea. The Korean tacos were good, but not excellent. I think the shell could be improved upon, maybe a fried won ton? Maybe some chili sauce on the side? The Caesar salad was very good, but the mac and cheese was bland and disappointing. Overall it seems like they're working through some kinks. The server could've used some help, as he seemed to have the only one working all of the tables. No ketchup on the table for fries or offer of any. A condiment station might help, but the place is relatively small. I'm glad we stopped in and will certainly give it another shot. It's nice to have an affordable family friendly spot in Salem and I wish them the best of luck!
