Amazing! Neil & Sue are wonderful hosts and the wine is delicious. Thank you Harvest Hosts for introducing us.

Great view from the Bluebird Hill Winery.

Had a really fun tasting with Alexis. Great wines and thanks for the tasting lesson. She was very knowledgeable about the fermentation process.

I had the unique opportunity to both stay and taste the wine at BlueBird Hill Farm & Cellars. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. They have two rooms that they rent out of their beautiful large rural home that is set on top of a hill with amazing views overlooking their fledgling vineyard first planted in 2013 and area mountain peaks. The home is picturesque and the rooms cozy. There is a lovely wrap around porch where you can take a sit and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset, or relax inside in the beautiful downstairs living room area. The sunrises here are phenomenal and worth getting up early for. Their dog will be the first to greet you and provide you companionship while welcoming the start to a new day. The bathroom is shared, but quite large and spacious. The breakfast in the morning is continental and delicious. They graciously accommodated my food sensitivities. I just mentioned it to them while I was booking my stay online from their website. The area is growing and has several wineries within a short distance. This is the perfect place to relax and take a breath to escape the business of life. Neil and Sue are the owners and Bobby Moy is the winemaker. Neil and Sue are amazing hosts and I felt like I was saying goodbye to new friends after our stay. I enjoyed some lovely conversations with Sue while hearing about their passion for the area and wine. Definitely be sure to take time and enjoy their tasting flight for a nominal fee. Their wines are fantastic! Their Pinot Noir was elegant, and definitely tasted like the Burgundy style Pinot Noir that Oregon is famous for. The 2014 Barrel Select Pinot Noir, 2015 Chardonnay, and 2015 Walnut Ridge Pinot Gris were my favorites. I now follow their news and websites and wish all the best for Neil & Sue. Their passion for life and following your dreams is contagious.

Vineyard out of season on a cool, foggy afternoon. Can't wait to come back and see these vines plump and full of grapes. Bird house in front

Their breakfast spread is lavish and on our last day there, Sue made an extremely tasty banana nut bread.

All grapes grown right there, and they make just one varietal: Pinot Noir. The owners are pouring and they were very friendly. $5 will get you a flight of tastes, and you can apply the tasting fee to a purchase of a bottle of wine. We like Oregon pinots and are happy to have found TeBri. Reasonably priced & a neat little place to visit. Oh - and they also have a lavender labyrinth around a gazebo ~ which was past the blooming season when we visited. Guess we'll have to return to Oregon for the lavender festivals next year....... and to drink more pinot! Cin-Cin ~

What always stirs the strongest memories/emotions are the earthy Pinots of OR's Willamette valley that we stumbled upon in those days. Over the years we found the style elusive, at least for us out of staters. All that changed this weekend - I found the last few miles driving to the property to be inspiring - this is as picturesque as it gets for me when visiting a winery. The setting alone is worth the drive. Tasting the wines makes the trip exceptional. Brian, the owner, is a super swell host. Honest to a fault and very passionate about his Pinots. It shows in the wine. This is what I remembered about OR and what makes me regretful about having left. Brian is what makes me happy to return and inspired about tasting Pinots again. If you are lucky, you'll be able to meet Nettie and Willow, their well behaved happy dogs. Cheers to TeBri! P.S. The place reeks of lavender :)
