Don't get me wrong the food was delicious but they don't start cooking until 8am and it was never noted on the website. I ordered it at 7:30am and it wasn't ready until after 8:15 so you can see my frustration. I am from out of state so I didn't know what time they started cooking and feel like they need to notate it.

I went here with a couple of friends for brunch today and it was amazing. This is such a cute and lovely spot and I'm surprised I only just learned about it. When we arrived the line was long but it moved quickly. You mostly have to wait outside when you're in line but the weather was nice and it was on the patio so it was covered. I ordered the Parisian egg sandwich and a hazelnut mocha and they were both so good. The coffee was some of the best I've ever had! The sandwich was also delicious and the bacon on it had the best smoky flavor. I also ordered a croissant, orange hazelnut spiral, chocolate caramel core cupcake, and a carrot cake cupcake to go and will be enjoying them at home another day. The people working here are so lovely and friendly. They do their best to get food and drinks out in a timely manner. There is limited indoor seating but plenty of patio seating. The parking lot extends to both sides of the building with an alleyway in the back. Parking gets a little tough on weekends but it's absolutely worth the struggle. Without a doubt I will be back here. Everyone should go here! Take your friends and family when they visit you. It is amazing and you will not regret it.

An amazing place that was recommended to me by multiple people. The absolute best chocolate chip cookie I've had all year, really solid, espresso, and a delicious ham and cheese, croissant pastry to get my day and weekend going. The staff were awesome, and a breath of fresh air during my long weekend in Eugene. If I ever go back, this will be my first stop!

Delicious coffee, great indoors and outdoors sitting area, amazing bread and pastries. I ordered the BLTE sandwich to go.

How does this one-of-a-kind bakery not get a 5 star rating? After visiting back in February this is July and I still cannot stop thinking about this place. Throw in cooked brunches on their menu--which you can enjoy at indoor or outdoor tables (with a fireplace in the interior part) in addition to the exquisite selection of baked breads and inventive rolls. People of Eugene don't know how good they have it. Traveling here from Los Angeles I lamented there was no equivalent bakery with the finesse/sophistication in the sprawling LA metro area (I'm over the standard Mexican bakeries, they're the same old things repeated.) At Hideaway the rolls and croissants were inventive, caught my eye for playful flavors, and tasted superlative. The coffee was complex and delicious. The brunch was absolutely delicious with good quality vegetables, flavorful cooking, subtly done eggs. YUM. Go here and don't regret missing out on one of the West Coast's top five bakeries ( in my humble estimation). Extra brownie points for the staff not putting on posh affectations despite their sophisticated menu. This place is down-to-earth and exciting, both.

We were in Eugene visiting our son at UO. We hung out at Hideaway every morning for three days, drinking tea, sitting by the fire, waiting for the college students to wake up. The food is delicious. Loved the pain au raisin, sweet potato hash, pesto hash and the blte sandwich. We brought our son and his friends and they declared it their favorite breakfast place in Eugene. I agree. We will definitely be back.

Located in the same parking lot as Mazzi's, you can also inside where it is warm, and the fireplace is making it cozy, or outside at the picnic table. Awesome coffee and pastries with the best cafe staff on earth. Friendly, and warm, make you happy that you came in. This is a really great place to come by yourself, meet a friend, have a meeting and a few people were working remotely. All around great neighborhood hang out spot. Check it out!

Fully expecting to wait on Father's Day, but we waited two hours after ordering before we received our food. When we inquired after an hour the staff was beyond rude and threatened to cancel my order. The food was okay; but definitely not warm and not worth a two hour wait. The pastries were dry.

Great food cooked to order. Clean, open, covered, dog friendly patio. The bakery has both gluten and gluten-free options (and a few vegan ones). Really friendly staff. What more could you ask for!

The first time I came here was with friends, and there was a food-trailer on the back-side of the seating area and you ordered at the same spot for food & coffee but they came out in different areas. So, I'm glad I had friends there to help guide us! That might have been a summer-thing or they re-shifted their kitchen but either way it is different now. But, regardless the food is just as delicious! Their actual food items are delicious. And, their baked goods are amazing! I also have tried many different of their coffee drinks. It is a unique spot off of AMazon Parkway, I recommend checking it out!

When I was still at UO I would schedule my entire week around when I could get my next BLET cause it was the absolute best breakfast in town. Not only is it made fresh with the in-house bread, the price and portion cannot be beat. The entire menu is absolutely stacked, as well as having some of the best coffee pastries and bread in town. Although the wait time is usually pretty significant, they now have a dependable online ordering service so you can time what you want from the kitchen, which is always going to be separate and much longer than anything from the counter. The parking lot is a bit tight, but there's also lots of other available areas.

Chilaquiles

staff is so fun. Food is insanely good. I mean, just look at those chilaquiles. The environment is so lively and such a wonderful place to be especially in the sunny months. I will say, it takes about 30/40 minutes to get your food after you order **on the weekends**, I can't speak for normal ticket times throughout the week but these wonderful people get so so busy so plan to have a bit of a wait for your meal. I always tell people to order a pastry to snack on while waiting for your actual food, so problem solved ;) 10/10 recommend !

Osteria DOP - Calabrian pizza

Wow! This food is insanely delicious! As we knew that we would be passing through Eugene yesterday,…read moreI started looking up restaurants. I was enticed by the pictures of fresh salads and wood fired pizzas. We ended up getting a few pizzas, a couple different pastas. They were all so flavorful (not salty) the texture of the gnocchi was so soft and absorbed the flavorful sauce. We were all blown away. We used QR to order, and were advised to order in waves. Drinks first. Everything came out promptly, even though the restaurant was pretty full. The last few days we ate at some incredible restaurants. Cold Springs Tavern in Santa Barbara, Nepenthe in Big Sur, then we come to Osteria DOP and all agreed the food here was unmatched. The best. For driving many hours, I liked that the atmosphere was casual, but it still looked modern and nice.

Their food really does live up to the hype. The pizza has a perfect airy, charred crust with just…read morethe right amount of crispy and chewy. The pasta was a nice al dente and had a good coat of sauce. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the food came relatively quickly! The restaurant has limited tables, so expect a wait! There are also bar seats and seats that face a wall. There are QR codes at tables to scan and place your order, and the waiters that bring/bus food were super friendly. All and all, Osteria DOP was a great experience! I will be back to try out more items from their menu.

If you've ever wandered the streets of Eugene, Oregon with a little nostalgia in your chest and a…read morehunger in your gut, you already know there are some places that aren't just restaurants they're landmarks of memory. And Track Town Pizza... well, that place doesn't just serve slices it serves time itself. Let me set the scene. I'm posted up at the Hayward Inn, a stone's throw from the sacred ground of Hayward Field. Every visit, no matter how many years pass, there's a ritual: lace up the memories, walk the same streets, and end up right where the legends linger under the warm lights of Track Town Pizza. You walk in, and there he is... Steve Prefontaine... staring down like he never left. Not just a photo more like a reminder. Now here's a little flavor for the soul: Track Town Pizza opened back in the late 1970s, built right in the heartbeat of what folks call "TrackTown USA." It became a hangout for runners, students, dreamers anybody chasing something. And yeah, over the years, plenty of local characters passed through bartenders, staff, regulars who became part of the story. Guys like Steve Fontaine? They weren't just pouring drinks they were part of the era, part of that gritty, analog Eugene vibe. We're talking decades back now roughly 30 to 40 years ago when this place felt like a clubhouse for the track-and-field faithful. But for me, this isn't just history it's personal. When I was younger, I didn't have much... but I could run. And like a lot of kids trying to find their lane in life, I found mine looking up to Prefontaine. The way he pushed, the way he talked "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." That stuck. Still does. So every time I walk into Track Town Pizza, it's not just about grabbing a slice it's like shaking hands with that younger version of myself. The kid who believed grit could take you somewhere. And let me tell you the pizza? Still hits like a victory lap. Old-school, no nonsense, loaded the way it should be. No gimmicks. Just honest, legendary pies that have fed generations of runners and late-night thinkers. So yeah... five stars doesn't even cut it. Because this place isn't just my favorite spot near campus it's a time machine. It's a shrine. It's a reminder that dreams don't die, they just wait for you to come back and visit. And every time I'm in Eugene, I do just that.

Like if the pizza gods held the Olympics and awarded gold medals for cheese, crust, and pure happiness, this place would sweep the podium. The crust? Perfect. The cheese? Glorious. The toppings? A majestic avalanche of deliciousness. One bite and I briefly considered moving to Eugene and building my entire life around being within a 3-minute radius of this pizza. Honestly, if aliens landed tomorrow and demanded to know the pinnacle of human achievement, I'd skip the pyramids and just hand them a slice from Track Town Pizza.
