For me, I like this place because it has breakfast options all day, whether croissant, bagel, or plate. I usually buy the croissant or bagel option, and it is fresh and delicious. This place is on my short list of breakfast places, though I know it also has plenty of lunch, juice, and coffee options. Based upon my experience with them fixing breakfast, I would have confidence in their other options! I am not a demanding person so my rating may be generous; still, consistently meeting a satisfactory experience is a good thing. Lots of good seating and parking since it shares with multiple large office buildings. It's on the bottom of a large medical building and has its own entrance and area apart from them. It has a lot of tables and chairs inside to dine there or take it to go. Everything was made to order and served fresh. We took our food to go and it took about 15 mins waiting for a breakfast sandwich and chicken Caesar wrap. We enjoyed our food and filled up from it with enough to enjoy later too. There were lots of people coming and going enjoying their coffee, tea, and lunches while we waited. Seemed like a good variety menu for food and drinks. The quiches were steamy and made fresh in the case when we walked in and looked delicious. I forgot to take a picture of our food because it did take a while to get it and I was starving!! The delicious smell drew me around the corner to find this Bistro. I've never been a big fan of cafes, but sometimes a well run business can win you over. As I walk in, the first thing I see is a huge picture display of what the differences are between a latte, breve, cappuccino and so on. (Thank Gawd!) That visual gave me an understanding and such a sense of empowerment that I was able to painstakingly create my own fantastic Breve while making 15 decisions to create it! Fun! We also tried some of the food as the smells are what dragged me over in the first place. The breakfast burrito was a stocky affair with egg, chunks of well cooked potatoes and cheddar cheese. Meats are optional. The burrito was large and cut in half, perfect for sharing. It came with a side of mild salsa. Then I had to try the ham & cheese croissant. It had Black Forest ham with cheddar and Swiss. I was surprised when the barista brought it to our table because it had been squished flat in a panini press and was nice and hot! It. Was. Perfect. Very buttery and surprisingly flaky, the combination of the melted cheeses and the ham were perfect. The croissant held together very well for as flaky as it was. Oh, the staff... very nice, polite and humorous people. They seem to enjoy being there and are enthusiastic about what they do. For a cold stormy morning, the atmosphere inside was a warm welcoming one with plenty of room to mill around and take a table. The person that served me that was quite rude. I got a dirty Diana add bacon, and it was cold. For coffee I ordered a 12 oz vanilla latte and my milk was oversteamed and the espresso was bitter. The barista had added a ridiculous amount of syrup. I was sick to my stomach the rest of the day because of it. The cafe itself was dark and cavernous and the floor was sticky. This is surprisingly a really nice lunch spot with super yummy grilled wraps and sandwiches. My husband loves the turkey pesto grilled sandwich and I love the Cesar salad grilled wrap. Both come with choice of soup or salad, and everything is always fresh and tasty. Reasonable prices: $12 for soup and sandwiches. There's an array of freshly baked goods, cinnamon rolls, cookies, bagels, etc... and some vegetarian options. The cafe is set within Chase Gardens medical center, so it's convenient if you have a doctor's appt and can grab a bite around lunch time. I can always count on this being a good, quiet place to come do some work. Although people are steadily coming in and out, not many actually stay so there is always a table available. They share a parking lot with the hospital which can get busy, but I have never had issues finding a spot. They have a fun selection of lattes (like a Snickers inspired one) and carry a good selection of Tazo tea. I have popped in here a few times over the years. Their drink selection has all of the coffee shop basics and their food menu consists of soups, salads, sandwiches, and wraps. The ingredients in the food are fairly basic, but nevertheless a delicious choice for a quick bite to eat. Their chai is made in house and is a complimenting blend of spices. My grandson highly recommended this place. I ordered their Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap which was very good and the Classic Cobb Salad which I had for my dinner that night. I went to your coffee place today and ordered an Americana. I waited, went to the restroom came back and then they started working on it the gentleman behind the counter, I informed him I needed a lot of cream so to put more in and then I'm waited more unfortunately when he set my cup down I needed to see if there was enough cream in it when I open it was so full it spilled all over me the counter and then I notice it's full of coffee grounds as well. I am frustrated and just want a refund. They act as though they don't know what to do I say I want a refund again, the gentleman I'm using that term loosely reaches into the till takes out $5 hands it to me and says go fuck yourself. I'm not sure what your customer service is and whether that is a manager but obviously is very unacceptable. Lots of the sandwiches included ingredients that I was unfamiliar with. I asked what was recommended. They suggested the roast beef, with bleu cheese, veggies, etc. ( I believe it was called the 'Pey Day'). That sandwich was the best I have had in quite some time. We ended up at this place because we had the Groupon. I wasn't expecting much, I was thinking... small café, cheap food, etc. HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised at what we found! This place is suuuuuper clean and I loved the little inspirational quotes all over the place. The staff was very welcoming and warm, even after we told them we had a Groupon (I've experienced some negative 'tudes towards the Groupon...). We each had a wrap, I had the Voodoo and it was incredible! Chicken, bleu cheese crumbles, spinach, tomatoes, and bacon. They even toasted it, yum! I had the veggie lentil soup, it was okay, but I'm not much of a soup person so I think it was a real winner if you love soups. My boyfriend had the beef soup, and he ate it in about 2 seconds flat. He LOVED it and was very impressed with the nice chunks of beef. We also got a couple of drinks with our deal, so that was a bonus. Overall, I would definitely come back here. They buy their bagels from a local bagel shop so they are really good. They put the perfect amount of cream cheese on them but they only have plain cream cheese. That's okay if you get the "everything bagel" because it's got lots of flavor. They are fast and it smells good. I would like to go back and try something else. They said you can add extra items to your bagel so next time I want to know if I can have fresh avocado with it. I would give 5 stars if they had other flavors of cream cheese, and it didn't help that the guy who was preparing food dropped a package of cheese on the floor and picked it up and set it in the prep area. I love this place. They have been around for over 10 years and is still a hidden gem. They make all their own pastries and have gluten-free options. Lots of tasty sandwiches. I love the gobble hog or the dirty Diana but I add bacon. Omg their candied bacon is insane. They have a cookie called the chuck Norris that has milk, white and butterscotch chips plus potato chips.
