Meat????? Shredded and minuscule portions.

Nothing I hate more than ordering coffee $3-$5 and getting "0" Refills. *Coffee was weak and watery *It almost 20 minutes before food arrived and finally got a refill (water/coffee). *Stuffed french toast was disappointing. Small vs Yelp photos by others and Minimal filling. If it didn't contrast with cream cheese and bread you'd never known it was an ingredient! *Currently eating Reuben..You can see from pics there's not much to eat. The side of thousand island I requested saved it. I got sweet potatoes (bad decision on my part) which didn't pair well AT ALL. Bad combination Our waitress was VERY friendly but only two of them on a semi-busy day. It will be my first and only visit.

French toast special and the chicken fried steak breakfast with biscuit
Michelle M.

We got the 2 2 2 special (2 pieces of fat French toast, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon or sausage for $15) and the chicken fried steak breakfast with biscuit. I had the special and the eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. The French toast was unique and I appreciate the innovation (see picture of how they used a thick French bread hence the "fat" title of the toast) but I think I prefer traditional width French toast as I found the crust a bit tough and there's not enough of the delicious eggy exterior which is the most desirable attribute of most French toasts. My partner got the chicken fried steak which was reportedly crispy and good and the biscuit was a bit crumbly and it was suggested it could be improved by being held together a bit more. Although it was very busy on a Friday morning (clearly a local hot spot) with a couple of servers working very hard they were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. It's a cute, sort of retro gas station vibe cafe. The floor was a bit greasy and could do with a deep cleaning. Overall I'd recommend this place for a classic simple breakfast.

I was excited to try biscuits and gravy. It cost me $20. and was not as good as Dari Mart.

Excellent food, service, & atmosphere. Tons of car & gas station related items on the walls & hanging from the ceilings.

Had friends in town and wanted to bring them to one of my favorite spots in Springfield -- Lovely…read more Best latte around, hands down. I originally started coming here because of Emily. She's a local and has worked at some of the best coffee shops in Eugene, and you can tell. She knows her craft always great service. The coffee art is always on point, and the service is consistently great. I actually check to see when she's working because I know it'll be dialed in. I'm vegan and there are plenty of options, which I appreciate. I had the Lovely Bowl this time -- fresh, flavorful, and filling without feeling heavy. Their juices are amazing too. Everything tastes clean and fresh. Kudos to the kitchen for how efficient they are -- food comes out quick and well done every time. I've had both breakfast and lunch here and it's all been solid. Sat outside with my dog, who loves hanging out and chilling while I drink my coffee. It's a clean, relaxed space and just easy to enjoy. What a lovely place. I'll keep coming back -- especially when Emily's behind the bar.

No complaints from any family members, and my meal was absolutely delicious. I got it to go since I had the pups with me (great place to take them out for a walk). Clean streets. Lots of grassy area and art sculptures in the back of the building. The restaurant has indoor sitting, outdoor heating and not heated outdoor area. Two bathrooms. Parking lot and street parking available. Busy during our visit but they had lots of sitting and games to entertain the family. One thing I really appreciated is that a lot of the dishes let you add avocado instead of it being automatically included. Since I can't have avocado due to an allergy, having it as a side option was perfect. Meanwhile, my kiddos love avocado, so they happily added it. Everything we had tastes fresh. Overall, it's a great stop when you're traveling to the coast--easy, family-friendly, and satisfying.

We wanted Cool Beanz :/ Update: we tried Native and it's good - fast, the employees were friendly, and the speciality coffees were tasty. I would just love the yelp page to be updated ;)

Short: Super Friendly, quick, and great variety of flavors. Support this local coffee stand!…read moreVisited week of Dec 10th 2022. I walked up and was instantly greeted by both employees at the stand. The menu is right next to the window. The Drink & Food: I ordered a 10oz Steamer [Kid's menu]. A steamer is basically hot milk with flavored syrup. Cool Beanz has an amazingly long list of flavored syrups; you can mix them up! An employee said, "the limit is only your imagination." I recommend coming if you want to be creative with your drinks and be out of the box, they would totally cater to it! I chose hazelnut and toasted vanilla. The barista accidentally poured too much syrup and asked if I wanted it to be extra sweet. Along if I wanted it to be a kid's temperature. I said yes to both, and he obliged. I bought a chocolate jumbo muffin too. It is a basic one from Costco. The Price: The 10oz steamer was $2. The jumbo muffin was $1.50 (pretty sure cheaper than the Dari-mart across the street; same Costco muffins). I think the menu prices are affordable compared to Dutch and Starbucks. Maybe only a few drinks actually reached $5 in price. Extra: They do have coffee specials. They have dog treats! Also, they do fill refillable cups. (I couldn't see the price menu for that too well. But it was about $0.50 off the coffee size on the menu - nice discount and saving the planet!) Overall, if you want some change in your daily coffee, definitely stop by Cool Beanz. Plus, they are local, so you're helping out the community!
