It was insanely delicious and worthy of another trip soon! "Duckling" ordered a Mediterranean toast which was also excellent. Seating is plentiful if you arrive early enough. This partially sucks to say, because I think Meraki is the best coffee shop in Eugene, but I don't fit in with the crowd. Come here to write (or tbh study - hence not fitting in), for hours. Drink multiple coffees or teas, eat some solid food, realize Meraki is better than on campus - but hate on it so you can keep it to yourself. The problem? Eugene is tiny, and everyone has known about it for a while. Just find a table early to study! And make sure to show your love in purchases. read more

I love Meraki! I make it a point to visit every time this place every time I'm in Eugene! Their coffee quality is amazing, and their seasonal latte concoctions are always something I look forward to trying! It was good and I am definitely making my way there every time I am back in Eugene. My friend has been eyeing this place and she finally got us to go! I love trying seasonal drinks so I got a pecan pie latte with oatmilk and an avocado toast. That pecan pie latte ($6 for 12 oz) had no business tasting so good-- it had the perfect amount of sweetness and pecan flavor! I love it when I can see remnants of nuts in my drink--it just feels more real. For the toast ($9.25) my only regret is not asking for an egg on it. Sourdough had a nice crunch and avocado was well flavored. Went on a Saturday around 10:30a and there was no line. It was pretty full inside but I had no issues finding seating for 4 of us. Staff are friendly and memorize their customers to deliver food and drinks. It's a pretty cool skill, but I was almost given someone's americano on accident. read more

The perfect ratio of smashed avocado, perfectly smoked and flavorful pieces of Lox salmon, and even dash of everything bagel seasoning and chili flakes, on a perfectly toasted sourdough bread. One of the best toasts I've had. So simple, yet so good. The drinks were decent! Nothing horrible, but nothing memorable as well. The Matcha I ordered was very light and I appreciate that I could taste the matcha and was not over powered with syrup. I think it tasted more like culinary grade matcha, I could be very wrong. I can't speak for the cold brew as my partner chose that drink but he didn't have any complaints either. SERVICE: 9/10 Staff were chill and I also appreciated the staff member who helped us at the register. She gave suggestions to different types to Avocado toast options they have as I thought there was just 1 and I always appreciate those types of disclaimers rather than just giving us whatever. Needed a quiet place to work for a couple of hours to meet at deadline and my parking head run out at the library. Looked up this place and saw that it had couches. Luckily found street parking. Ordered a Matcha and a pastry to cover rent, and happily found room on the couch with a table in front of it. Appreciated being able to drink my Matcha out of a real cup instead of something plastic. Service was warm, friendly, and thoughtful. When my drink was ready it was brought to my table. The only drawback was the dude sitting next to me was having a full on loud conversation on his phone. Looking forward to coming back to this place. Just bring your noise canceling earphones in case. read more

I'm all for a classic iced oat milk chai latte! But the atmosphere here is absolutely incredible. I had heard of their extensive renovation, and wow did the wait deliver! Featuring a cozy corner with a salt water fish tank, relaxing music that isn't too loud, clever decorum without feeling crowded, and a simple enough menu to not feel overwhelming. The vibes are lovely. Prices are decent, especially if you're planning on taking a break, having a seat, and enjoying your time in a cute little cafe here in Eugene! I brought a book, and had a lovely time. Would recommend bringing out of towners here too! I learned the owners name is Alex, and her passion really does shine through. I saw the special drink menu and they were sold out of the French toast latte, which at first made me sad but then I noticed the Chinese 5 spice latte. Quaint, cool, sophisticated coffee shop in the middle of downtown Eugene. It's a good size and has a really great vibe; nice and clean with a mixture of individual tables, lounging spaces, indoor, outdoor, high-top, and standard-level seating. The shop has those garage-style doors at the front so that they can open to the outside when the weather is fantastic. The drinks are good. When we stopped here for coffee they may have been a bit behind, because our order took 15 minutes (give or take a minute), which was longer than I expected for a drip coffee, chai latte, one of their special coffees and a couple things from their pastry case. Service was good though, and friendly. But then again I am not a coffee connoisseur so perhaps that's a standard wait time. I had the chai, which was pretty good. It's a house blend. I also picked up a raspberry mocha for my sis; it was something I would have wanted to try if I drank coffee and she said it was good. The pastries were good; a nice fluffy piece of coffee cake with a delicious swirl of cinnamon is not as common a sweet as it once was! There's some parking in the front on Willamette, and then the paid lot just north of the building. I almost paid for it, but there was only 2 hour and up increments and I wasn't going to pay $5 for 15 minutes picking up some coffee. Luckily, I found that behind the building there are some visitors spaces for the 1203 building for free. I would visit Meraki again, it's a great little place to hang out or just pick up and go. read more

They're doing it right over here. You can tell by how much foot traffic this place gets. A friend of mine recommended I come here, and he hit it on the nail. You can tell they put their time into their crafr because everything tasted great. I ordered the iced vanilla latte and my girl got the matcha latte. We loved both of our drinks lol. Almost impossible to find a place to sit, and that's why I'd want to be here. But what I don't like is that I'm not in that demographic and get stares from staff and clients. Really lovely spot. Dropped in while visiting Eugene for a football game and stopped into Metakis before getting back on the road to Portland. Delicious seasonal espresso drinks and some really lovely toast options. We had a cranberry, Turkey toast that I was questioning at first but with one bite I was sold. Lots of room to sit (tables, couches comfy chairs) and tons of college students around working and we enjoyed a really lovely conversation with a gentleman that had just moved to Eugene.
