    Everything bagel with plain cream cheese

    Not a bad spot to grab a quick breakfast. I am avoiding dairy nowadays so I got a sesame bagel with avocado and lox. Delish! They didn't skimp on the toppings. The little one and the hubby got an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. They did not skimp on the cream cheese either. I actually scraped a bit off for the little one because there was so much. You order at the counter and most people seem to take it to go. There are a few places to sit inside but we opted to sit outside since it was actually warm and dry for a bit that morning. There is a rather plain patio with chairs that weren't cleaned off but we found the cleanest ones and it was ok. My guess is that they didn't expect the weather to cooperate that day (which it was just a short period of dry skies). The patio really could be great if they could convince the neighbors to let them paint a mural on the other wall but it did just fine for a quick breakfast.

    I came in, ordered my bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese. As I was waiting for my bagel, an employee came up and told me that they are out of that kind of cream cheese, and asked if I wanted a slice of lox instead. Of course I said yes! And it was delicious. One thing I noticed is that they weren't playing music in the store, so it was a bit too quiet for me- but other than that, my experience was great!

    I grab an open face "PEARL" every couple of weeks. The PEARL is the open face smoked salmon with red onions, tomatoes, capers, and plain cream cheese. IT is in my eyes, the perfect bagel sandwich. My GF was with me and she got the biscuit (who orders a biscuit at a Bagel shop) but damn if that isn't one of the best biscuits I've ever had. It is hard envisioning myself ordering anything but a bagel especially being a NY-Native where I was raised on bagels for bfast on the way to the ice hockey rink on Long Island. Once you open the door, that aroma of freshly made bagels hits you in the face with the force of a 2x4 swung by Barry Bonds. That aroma is priceless and immediately has me looking to make sure both onion, and garlic bagels are available as those are my goto.

    Turkey pesto bagel For $10, I got 1 thin slice of turkey. Not super flavorful for a pesto sandwich. Fairly short wait time. I hadn't been here in a while and it has changed a lot. Probably won't go back.

    Stopped in and got the new pesto melt & rueben melt. $10 & $11.50 respectively. Pesto was better than rueben. Could not taste the rueben as there was very little and was over powered by the creaminess of the cheeses. I feel like it's not worth the cost. The pesto is much better as the strong pesto flavor can cut through all the cheese. It's very similar however with the lack of meat and we couldn't taste any turkey. Bagels were excellent as usual.

    Yummy iced white chocolate mocha & toasted jalapeño cheddar bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, & cream cheese. Such a filling breakfast. Always my go to when I want something a bit more filling than just a toasted bagel. The coffee isn't sweet, and has a richer coffee flavor (for me personally, but still really yummy.) mine had very little ice so it wasn't very cold, but I appreciate that it's not watered down or gypped on the amount of coffee for ice. Always a good bagel stop. Local business always nice to support. They have SO many options for bagels & cream cheese spreads, and other food options as well, but I guess I just stick to what I know I like haha maybe one day I'll get adventurous and try their lox or a different cream cheese, or bagel.. but for now I'll stick to my fav.

    I've been coming here for many years and they have yet to disappoint! This was my first time trying the Bachelor sandwich and it was amazing!! The prices are fairly expensive, but well worth it.

    Highly dissatisfied considering the price, that's not even 1 whole slice of bacon on the sandwich and it's undercooked, small bagels and a McDonald's like egg patty. Cheese was cold Pro: Bagel fresh, enough cream cheese Con: Undercooked and not even 1 whole slice of bacon, bland McDonald's egg pattie, unpleasant cold cheese, bagels are small 13 Dollars for a 5 dollar sandwich

    Ran out of biscuits, wah, wah, wah. Sadly they forgot my cream cheese Bagels were ok. The texture is not the bagel texture. Seemed more dense like a frozen Landers bagel. Cardamom latte was excellent! Love Ocean rolls so this was a great 2nd to the rolls. Will try again maybe an off day.

Let us begin with the triumph. The buckwheat pancakes arrive not merely as breakfast, but as a composition. A stack of admirable loft and structure--evidence of a properly developed batter, handled with restraint and precision. The crumb is airy yet resilient, each bite yielding gently before dissolving into a delicate nuttiness inherent to buckwheat. A caramelized banana sauce pools generously, glossy and fragrant, its sweetness tempered by the cultured tang of crème fraîche. Toasted coconut chips scatter across the top like crisp punctuation, lending both aroma and texture. This is cooking that understands balance--sweetness checked by acidity, softness lifted by crunch, comfort elevated by technique. It is, quite simply, a five out of five dish. We had the buckwheat pancakes with caramelized bananas, dates, and pineapple syrup which was sweet but not overly so since the pancakes underneath were not touched by the syrup ended up being a really nice balance. Bacon was like a cross between pork belly and bacon (very thick) but really tasty. Breakfast Sando was good with in-house ground pork and a nice aioli. We also tried the savory macarons (Brie and truffle) which are delicious. Creamy and a tad sweet. Not too much truffle. Coffee was a bright tangy pour over-not my favorite type but some people really like that style. Oh, and we had a blood orange mimosa which was really good Overall an excellent experience! Definitely going to again when we are in town!

In addition to American breakfast classics they offer Mexican-inspired dishes such as Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles. Our server came by and welcomed us and took our drink orders. In addition to the natural offerings of coffee and assorted juices they offer specialty coffees ranging from a standard iced coffee to white mochas, cappuccinos, dirty chai tea latte's and Mexican mochas. As we began to peruse the menu we immediately noticed their prices are extremely reasonable, which is always appreciated. Everything on the menu sounded really yummy and we each made our selections. Our table ordered items including the Linguica Scramble, Pancakes, and Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. The restaurant had a good steady stream of customers but they appeared to be able to handle the amount of people and we didn't notice anyone wait more than a couple of minutes to be seated. We also observed a good amount of to-go/Door Dash traffic. Our orders arrived in a timely manner and looked delicious. I will also say, I worked in restaurants for almost 8 years and I am VERY understanding of costs and the possibilities of off days. But this place is honestly ridiculous. First of all, I did a to-go order, so my review is completely about that experience, the food, and the cost. I do not have a review of the service. $18 dollars for a breakfast burrito sounded crazy, but since it was my bad not checking the prices, I went through with it. The food was not at all worth $18. It was bland and soggy, not moist or juicy from the sausage, just soggy. The flavor of the sausage was good but other than that the burrito was completely bland. The home fries on the side were pretty tasty but I didn't even want them and would've preferred them inside the burrito or not included at all for a lower price. My main reason for leaving 1 star and not maybe 2 or even 3 is that they charge a 10% gratuity on to-go orders which, to me, is unacceptable. I generally tip about that much on my own for to-go (20-35% if I eat in for people who think I'm awful lol), but given the food is ridiculously overpriced I was unsure if I would this time. Them making that decision for me without any heads up ensures I will never come back here again. A small note on ambience; the place is stinky. As I said, I didn't sit down so take this with a grain of salt, but when I walked in I was blasted with a musty and kind of dirty smell that would've had me not wanting to stay for a meal. I honestly feel bad writing this review but this place does not deserve the communities continued business unless they SERIOUSLY up their game. I don't believe I will ever be back but hopefully they improve and actually live up to the 4.1 rating that they have. There are many, many better tasting and more affordable options throughout Eugene, even places with much lower ratings.
