Everything bagel with plain cream cheese
Kitty H.

Not a bad spot to grab a quick breakfast. I am avoiding dairy nowadays so I got a sesame bagel with avocado and lox. Delish! They didn't skimp on the toppings. The little one and the hubby got an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. They did not skimp on the cream cheese either. I actually scraped a bit off for the little one because there was so much. You order at the counter and most people seem to take it to go. There are a few places to sit inside but we opted to sit outside since it was actually warm and dry for a bit that morning. There is a rather plain patio with chairs that weren't cleaned off but we found the cleanest ones and it was ok. My guess is that they didn't expect the weather to cooperate that day (which it was just a short period of dry skies). The patio really could be great if they could convince the neighbors to let them paint a mural on the other wall but it did just fine for a quick breakfast.

Jalapeño cheese bagel with cream cheese and lox

I came in, ordered my bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese. As I was waiting for my bagel, an employee came up and told me that they are out of that kind of cream cheese, and asked if I wanted a slice of lox instead. Of course I said yes! And it was delicious. One thing I noticed is that they weren't playing music in the store, so it was a bit too quiet for me- but other than that, my experience was great!

culinary masterpieces!!!

I grab an open face "PEARL" every couple of weeks. The PEARL is the open face smoked salmon with red onions, tomatoes, capers, and plain cream cheese. IT is in my eyes, the perfect bagel sandwich. My GF was with me and she got the biscuit (who orders a biscuit at a Bagel shop) but damn if that isn't one of the best biscuits I've ever had. It is hard envisioning myself ordering anything but a bagel especially being a NY-Native where I was raised on bagels for bfast on the way to the ice hockey rink on Long Island. Once you open the door, that aroma of freshly made bagels hits you in the face with the force of a 2x4 swung by Barry Bonds. That aroma is priceless and immediately has me looking to make sure both onion, and garlic bagels are available as those are my goto.

Turkey pesto bagel

Turkey pesto bagel For $10, I got 1 thin slice of turkey. Not super flavorful for a pesto sandwich. Fairly short wait time. I hadn't been here in a while and it has changed a lot. Probably won't go back.

PESTO MELT
Scott E.

Stopped in and got the new pesto melt & rueben melt. $10 & $11.50 respectively. Pesto was better than rueben. Could not taste the rueben as there was very little and was over powered by the creaminess of the cheeses. I feel like it's not worth the cost. The pesto is much better as the strong pesto flavor can cut through all the cheese. It's very similar however with the lack of meat and we couldn't taste any turkey. Bagels were excellent as usual.

Jalepeno cheddar bagel egg and sausage and cream cheese
Mariah F.

Yummy iced white chocolate mocha & toasted jalapeño cheddar bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, & cream cheese. Such a filling breakfast. Always my go to when I want something a bit more filling than just a toasted bagel. The coffee isn't sweet, and has a richer coffee flavor (for me personally, but still really yummy.) mine had very little ice so it wasn't very cold, but I appreciate that it's not watered down or gypped on the amount of coffee for ice. Always a good bagel stop. Local business always nice to support. They have SO many options for bagels & cream cheese spreads, and other food options as well, but I guess I just stick to what I know I like haha maybe one day I'll get adventurous and try their lox or a different cream cheese, or bagel.. but for now I'll stick to my fav.

Bachelor Sandwich on a Spinach Herb Bagel
Madi E.

I've been coming here for many years and they have yet to disappoint! This was my first time trying the Bachelor sandwich and it was amazing!! The prices are fairly expensive, but well worth it.

Bacon, Egg & Cheese

Highly dissatisfied considering the price, that's not even 1 whole slice of bacon on the sandwich and it's undercooked, small bagels and a McDonald's like egg patty. Cheese was cold Pro: Bagel fresh, enough cream cheese Con: Undercooked and not even 1 whole slice of bacon, bland McDonald's egg pattie, unpleasant cold cheese, bagels are small 13 Dollars for a 5 dollar sandwich

Cardamom latte, absolutely fantastic
Robin F.

Ran out of biscuits, wah, wah, wah. Sadly they forgot my cream cheese Bagels were ok. The texture is not the bagel texture. Seemed more dense like a frozen Landers bagel. Cardamom latte was excellent! Love Ocean rolls so this was a great 2nd to the rolls. Will try again maybe an off day.

The coffee is next level--you can really tell they take their roasting seriously and care about quality. The food is just as good as the coffee, which is rare for a coffee shop. If you're in Eugene and want top-tier coffee and great daytime food, this is the spot!

Food portions are huge and so is the building surprisingly, so there's a pretty good amount of seating too (especially compared to other cafes in the area). The parking lot is a little narrow to navigate but I'm mostly grateful that they even have a lot. I think their tempeh is very delicious and flavorful, kind of a sweet maple-y vibe, and again, can't emphasize how big the size of everything was compared to my usual expectations. Their menu is pretty vegetarian friendly and they have pastries, breakfast options, smoothies etc. Price is on the higher side but I do think you get what you pay for. Also tried their seasonal lavender pistachio latte and the regular chai, both drinks were really nice. They don't have a huge variety of flavors in the coffee menu (2 house made syrups) but I was still happy with there being a fun seasonal option. It's decorated well and I love the tall ceilings. Would come again!

My drink was made much quicker this time compared to the first, which I appreciated. Make sure to check out their monthly specials and discounts on certain days of the week! 4)Great variety of drinks! Their iced espresso drinks are to die for! But they also have a variety of teas, hot coffees, and other types of beverages as well! 5)The BEST customer service you will find anywhere. The baristas are incredibly nice and down to earth. Very friendly, but not obnoxious (like they are at Dutch Bros. Lol) Totally willing to answer any questions you may have, and always smiling. The baristas here treat each customer like a new friend. They will make you feel welcomed, and provide the best coffee experience you can imagine! 6)A VERY SPECIAL SHOUT OUT: To the amazingly kindhearted male barista with the Slitherin tattoo... My car battery died in the parking lot (because I was silly and left it running while I was talking with a friend), and he COMPLETELY SAVED THE DAY. Not only did he jump my car battery, he taught both my friend and I HOW to jump a car! He was incredibly sweet and kind. He acted like it was no big deal, but I am SO GRATEFUL. I wish I was Bill Gates or Elon Musk because I would have tipped this gentleman a gaziillion dollars if I could have. He is a modern day hero, and I will continue to come back to this coffee shop and spread the word about how AMAZING the baristas here are. Don't go anywhere else. Sip is the BEST.

Apparently Native Coffee is a fairly new company and they've opened a couple of stands in less than a year so they seem to be off to a good start. I visited about 10 days after they opened this location so I'm not sure if they usually have drink specials or not; it didn't seem like they had any today. Luckily it doesn't tend to matter to me since I don't drink coffee; I'm a chai or lemonade gal. Their chai was really good, and though I don't know for a fact it's not Oregon Chai brand, I'd be really surprised. The chai they have here is really subtle in flavor, whereas Oregon Chai is very very sweet. I was really pleased with this drink. The guy who took my order was super friendly and thanked me for stopping by. I usually don't buy pastries when stopping at a coffee trailer, but I'm glad I asked because they were really great. I hadn't heard of a lemon roll before but yummmmm. Definitely pick one up if they still have them when you stop by, and since they keep them in the fridge for freshness I'd definitely microwave them for 30 seconds or so (actually, warm them up even if you live it at room temp for a bit). Native Coffee is a great addition to the coffee options in Eugene, and worth a stop if you're in west Eugene.

Not only did we use Yelp but we backed up our decision with a google search and that took us to Reddit. Equiano was a top suggestion on both sites. And we understand why. The Camaroon was totally my style with an earthier tone and the Chai was delightful.
