wow, this place should be on everyone's radar. the parking lot was close to full at lunchtime on a tuesday which should tell you how popular it is. i got the order to go for three of us: two blts and one club sandwich. i had asked that one be marked without cream cheese and that's how it was when taken out of the bag. service was great-super friendly! and the sandwiches are A-MAZ-ING! super flavor and the whole sandwich is so big that you can totally get two meals out of a whole sandwich unless you're super hungry. now that i know about barry's, when i'm back in town, i'll be making sure to stop by if not for a sandwich, then a baked good. read more

In my opinion the coffee was very basic. I did like that they have plenty of pastry options. We had the cinnamon roll and the double chocolate cookie which were delicious especially if you like sweets! Personally, I wouldn't go back for their coffee because I noticed that used Torani syrups which I don't like and I only mention this because had I known this I probably would have went with a different coffee shop. read more

I had heard that the reuben sandwich here is one of the best so I stopped in to try it because I love reubens. I was really disappointed with Barry's version.....more bread than anything, a very meager amount of meat and sauerkraut. It wasn't grilled; just put into the panini machine and warmed for a minute. This just isn't my idea of a $12.00 sandwich. The rye bread was 2 inches thick, the pastrami and cheese perhaps 1/2 inch at the most. Walking in I can see that this local bakery and coffee shop provide a welcoming and inclusive experience. The staff was friendly and despite the morning rush, people were kind to one another. Not too sure what the buzz is here. The Rye Bread they use is absolutely the best. Pastrami was lacking something and had a chocolate chip cookie that was what I would term as bland and, again, missing something. Maybe I hit them on the wrong day or something. Oh man, this breakfast sandwich was DELISH and the challah roll was soft. Wowow my friends all got soup bc they said Barry's always has yummy soup (which also comes with a slice of challah yum). The staff were friendly and attentive, and seemed to have a good system to take orders and ensure people were served in a timely manner between sandwiches, the pastry case, and drinks. Robert got the Tuna melt- it smelled great & it was gone quick- aka- he loved it Eddie got the roast beef & it smelled so good- I grabbed a bite! Delicious again Plus I got cookies! On Wednesday January 10th I Finally found a place here that makes onion bialys. It was delicious. It was so good, I ate the whole Bialys before I thought about taking a picture L O L. Barry's is the only Jewish deli in town. They make a great matzo ball soup (extremely dense matzo balls if that is what you prefer) and Hungarian mushroom soup! They have a lot of delicious baked goods, including items like hamantaschen, bialys, and varying types of rugelach among a sea of other choices. The service isn't very warm and the seating area itself leaves a lot to be desired but I think it's mostly on par for what you'd expect at an order at the counter deli. read more
