The best Rye Bread! We used to buy this at Long Meat Market but sadly they stopped carrying it so we drive to Springfield now.

The rye bread is delicious! Get there when it opens because they are limited with inventory.

The bread is wonderful and made with several varieties of local flour from the Camas Mill.

We walked in and there was no employee to be found for a solid 5 minutes, and the shelves were pretty bare. But it was late in the evening, so this didn't surprise me. We picked flan and tres leches from the cooler and waited. Which we took to go and ate at home. The woman who cashed us out was warm and kind. The store itself is clean, bright pink in color, and a pretty decent size space. The food... both the flan and tres leches cake were beyond overcooked. It was like chewing on a bouncy ball in terms of texture. My flan also had almost no sauce to go with it. The flan at El Taco across the parking lot is far better. Would I return? Yes, but earlier in the day when they have more selection, and I'll skip the flan, which I can make myself at home, or get from El Taco. There was nothing egregiously wrong with this place, which is why it gets 3 stars. But sadly there wasn't anything fabulous here either, but I want to try again in the hopes I'll be more impressed on the next visit.

We got some baked goods and a couple of pina colada milkshakes. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the milkshakes! They were so fresh tasting and had shredded coconut in them which we enjoyed a lot. The space is big but not busy. There's a cabinet with baked treats on one side and a large menu on the other. No public bathroom that I could see. The prices were extremely reasonable and there was a good amount of selection to choose from. We would definitely go back!

It was super busy when I visited around 9:45am on a Monday, so you know they're good. I was greeted immediately and placed my order quickly. The girl working the register was super helpful and friendly. I wanted to try the seasonal banana bread cold brew, but I can't have caffeinated drinks so I asked if it could be made decaf. She said she can do it as a decaf latte instead and I agreed. It is SO good! It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. You can taste banana and cinnamon, perfectly balanced. I was worried the banana flavor would be fake tasting but it's not, it tastes like real bananas. I also got the Sasquatch sushi because I had to know what it was and it was amazing. It's a pbj with banana, in sushi form! It's such a cool idea and tasted fantastic. My partner was also super entertained by it and he loved it too. I got the Sunbreak breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. Everything I had here today was fantastic! I love this little cafe and will absolutely be back. I already recommended them to two of my friends as well. Go here, you won't regret it!

They probably didn't believe us, but we are people of our word (when it comes to food, anyway). I was vascillating between the croissant and the palmier. I agonized over getting the croissant or the palmier. I couldn't get both because I was too full from our Cuban lunch. "Save one for later", one might say. To that I say, "Pshaw". My SO put me out of my self imposed misery by ordering a croissant, which afforded me the opportunity to get the palmier. Palmiers are one of my favorite pastries/cookies (which one is it?). My SO once bought me a half burnt palmier and I quickly ate it without one compaint. I never buy those containers of mini palmiers at Costco because they would be gone very quickly and I would feel very guilty. I know my palmiers. Croissants, on the other hand, are how I judge a bakery, if they happen to make croissants. I don't think I'm super snobby, but I know a good croissant when I eat one (good for me, anyway). Noisette's croissant had buttery flaky layers on the outside with a moist and tender inside. This was as awesome as a croissant gets. The palmier was different from any other I've had. It was almost one inch thick (which is about twice as thick as your standard bakery palmier). The innermost layers were slightly tender, sort of like the inside of a croissant, but not quite. What a wonderful and new experience in eating my beloved palmier. Thank you Noisette's. Oh yeah, all the other pastries and food looked pretty darn good too, haha. Please keep this place in business for the next time we're back in Eugene.
