I woke up this morning still dreaming about the chicken hand pie I had for lunch yesterday at Creswell Bakery. The brownie too! I would be 100lbs heavier if I lived near this bakery. Literally everything was delicious!! It's an order, grab and go method. Seating is outdoors, so plan for that when you get out of your car. There were signs about open during construction, but we didn't see any construction, however, the road looked freshly paved to so likely that was the construction that the signs spoke of. This little bakery and cafe is wonderful! I've been twice now, once today and once a few years ago. It's only gotten better! Today I got the bacon and egg sandwich on ciabatta, the turkey special (which I took home for lunch), a croissant, a cinnamon roll, and an Oregon hazelnut sticky bun. The egg sandwich was so good! I was worried the bread would be too hard because I've had hard ciabatta in the past that cut the roof of my mouth but this was perfect. The sandwich was perfectly made and tasted delicious. They have some locally-made goods that you can also buy. I was tempted but didn't get anything this time. I do like that they sell local stuff though. The man who helped us was very nice and friendly. Our hot food came out pretty quickly given how busy they were. You get a beeper when you order something from the kitchen and go up when it goes off. There are a few parking spots right up front but they were full today. There's plenty of street parking so you shouldn't have any issues finding somewhere to park. They have a bathroom inside but I didn't use it. It's not coded though which is nice. The bakery is clean and easy to move around in, even when it's packed. While out taking some photos and learning local history in nearby cottage Grove we made time to stop at Creswell Bakery. We had a bacon egg and cheese pocket, a vegetarian pocket, and a ham and cheese pretzel breakfast sandwich. All of them were outstanding; tasty bread and a nice blend of fillings. The staff were all very friendly and service time was quick. For a sweet treat we had a fresh strawberry scone, a hazelnut caramel roll, and a cardamom roll. Each were possibly the best we have ever had. The sticky bun was easily the star of my show!!!! Nice outside seating available, small gift area including jelly's, coffee beans, kitchen towels and bread bags and some Oregon wine. This is a definite need to stop if you are a bakery person. What a pleasant surprise! The huge I-5 billboard lured us, our expectations were low. So much homemade eye candy. The tomato soup and the ham, egg, and cheese breakfast pastry thing were delicious. If you are ever in Oregon, PLEASE stop and visit it. They had meat pies that were spot on yo. Literally DOPE. I'd rec the chicken pot pie one. My lil bros wanted bacon sandwiches, which is something they didn't serve, but the lady who was taking our order was so nice and helped us figure out what to get so my bros would be satisfied with their lunch. Quick stop as we had heard about the savory pies. We brought home 6 frozen (chicken/beef) and 2 fresh (1 chicken/ 1 beef). And boy...did it live up to the reputation!!! The crust is what makes it. If I was making them I would probably play with the spice mixture, to make it a little more 'bursting' with flavor, however it was great the way it was and besides, if I made it the crust would be flavorless. 5 stars and will be back to try more. read more

Nice people - decent food. I saw the highway signs and I love a good bakery. The location is a bit odd - nestled in a neighborhood with not enough parking. The cookies are great, as was the handheld chicken pot pie. Sandwiches and bread are where they could use some more - something, as the roast beef was great but it needed more veggies and flavor. read more

Arrived about 1 today and ordered a turkey and Swiss sandwich. It is part of their regular menu. The sandwich was in a brioche bun and pretty dry. The sandwich was lightly dressed and pretty blah. My son brought me here for Mother's Day. The bacon egg ciabatta sandwich was worth waiting in line for. The perfect crunch of the bread, gooey egg, house smoked bacon...all perfection. I have been to the creswell bakery a few times and I have enjoyed almost everything I got. We got ham, egg and cheese and bacon egg and cheese breakfast pastries that were full of flavor. We also got a ham and Cheese pretzel that was lovely. We got a 2 berry tarts, 1 with lemon, 1 without and they were the perfect amount of sweet!! The only thing we didnt much care for was the frosting on the cupcakes and I think that jusy comes down to personal preference. The inside it small and cute, very on vibe for the area. They have take and bake stuff that i would love to try on the future. My kid begged for the mac and cheese! Its definitely not going to be the cheapest place. It was around $35 for 4 breakfast pastries and for a teenagers appetite it did not suffice for breakfast. Worth the stop. read more

5 years later it finally hit me that my best Jennifer stopped here to load up on the baked goods during her road trip. I remember her saying they bought a bunch of bread. Truth be told I can pass on bread but baked treats I'm here for it. We stopped in today for a late morning snack. I'm sooooo glad we did! The chicken pot pie and ham and Swiss croissant was perfect for our road trip. They're easily can be eaten when driving. Of course we had to grab some cookies and a lemon bar. Their dough is light, airy. and so delicious! Well, prior to our 3.5 hr journey back home, I ran to the restroom where accidrntly left my phone. Did not even notice until I got home. We stopped to grab lunch while we were down for an Oregon golf event and were disappointed. There is a reason there is a line out the door!! We grabbed two roast beef sandwiches, a turkey sandwich, 2 cookies (snickerdoodle & chocolate chip) and a cinnamon roll to go. Service was fast and the food was delicious. This is some great bakery in Creswell. Confession: every time I'm traveling South, I stop here and load up. I mean like a really good, honkin' cookie. Like a little, cheery cupcake, the one that makes me smile. Or like a blueberry, almond, peach tart - incomparable. After coming here for years, I finally tried the chicken pot pie. The chicken pie has a little more pepper than I like. The crust is still the same awesome pastry crust and the other veggie components are par for the course. The flavors are really good. I did find the chicken meat to be a tad dry. My favorite is still the meat (beef) pie. The seasonings are working just fine with beef. This has been my favorite for years. The main dining room has been closed since Covid I believe. Too bad, it was nice to be able to relax inside and enjoy a proper meal. Now it's pretty much just grab and go. Their products are so good though that they are always busy. read more

On a road trip from Portland to Cali. Noticed the billboards advertising Creswell Bakery. Who doesn't love a cute lil bakery? Upon our arrival it appeared that the bakery was in a small culdesac area, with homes on the same street. The entrance was inviting, with table benches for patrons to eat and chat. Follow a path to double doors. The inside is small and cute. They def have a brand, showing off their merch and other goodies (Maybe from local vendor's?). Ordered sandwiches, roast beef and turkey. I had the roast beef, cheese with chipotle mayo. It was okay. The mayo added a good amount of flavor along w the red onion but it wasn't saucy enough. The bread was soft and we'll made. Also ordered a chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies.. again, just okay. The texture was great but where is that classic butter flavor? Not sure they use butter in their cookies. Overall, a good experience. If I were passing through Creswell, I would stop again. Who TF am I? Go for yourself. . read more

We drive from Portland Oregon about 2 hrs to get there. We love the cardomom buns and the orange coconut rolls. The multigrain sour dough pre sliced bread is excellent for sandwiches. Hand held sandwiches are very good. Almond filled breakfast pastry. Well worth the drive to buy wonderful baked goods. Also nice to sit in the yard at tables to eat the yummy food. !!!! read more

I came in here yesterday afternoon with my husband and was so disappointed and I find it sad. They have what is called a "late" menu, which is just premade sandwiches and a few other items. Nothing fresh, and that disappoints me. I had to wonder how long these premade items had been sitting there waiting for us and if they were actually safe to eat or if I was risking food poisoning. My husband decided we should take the risk and we got a sandwich and something like a meat pie. This was not a good idea, and I'll tell you more about that in a bit. Employees were definitely not the A Plus squad either. They all had the defeated "fuck my life" attitude and facial expressions. Like they wanted to be anywhere else besides serving pathetic pre-made food to customers expecting far more than that. Their "hot" food is hilarious. It's still premade food sitting in a cooler just waiting for you to choose which one you want. Then they give you a pager while they microwave it, then throw it on a rack for you to find. They can't even be bothered to hand it to you directly. Ambiance is fine, if you're outside and not watching how pathetically depressing their employees are. The energy inside just feels heavy and sad to me. If we're being completely honest here, I can get a premade sandwich a block away at either Dari Mart or the gas station, and get better customer service from either place as well. At least employees in either know how to smile. Neither my husband or I felt well after eating here. I have no idea for certain if this was the cause, but we only eat together and the same food a couple times a week. So generally speaking, when we get sick at the same time, it's likely this is the culprit. But since I can't prove that with absolute certainty, please take this portion of my review with a grain of salt. Remember how I said their premade food felt like a risk to me? That concern seems to be pretty legit. Would I return? Probably not. If I get anything from them again, it'll likely be at Saturday Market and not the bakery itself. I was beyond disappointed trying to support a small local business and finding them failing miserably with the offerings and customer service. They can do so much better. read more

Stopped for Hand Pies. Beef and Chicken. Both are so good. Worth the drive every time.

We just recently moved to Creswell, and one of the first places we tried was obviously the Bakery. The interiors Bakery is so quaint and beautiful, everybody is so friendly and kind and let me just tell you about their hand pies! They have a beef hand pie that I have tried and a chicken pot pie hand pie that I've tried, and they are absolutely delicious! I've also tried their Strawberry cupcake, which was exquisite. They also offer fresh breads, I have yet to try these, but they always look fresh and beautiful when we come in. read more
