What a pleasant surprise. Honestly, I just needed a good cup of coffee and a friendly smile after a few days of blahness. I wasn't disappointed in the very least. This cute little inconspicuous shop makes an impressive Cortado along with other cool coffee treats. I loved that it had its own small town charm and personality. I felt welcomed right away even if I looked like someone who was in desperate need of a style change. Erica the lovely owner of this shop has a very kind presence and I loved that she was so happy to share her story of the conception of this place. The coffee is great. The service elite. The town a little closer to my heart. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just remember if you are looking for it you have to go into the historic downtown of Cottage Grove. That's crazy, especially for the poor quality coffee I was served. I ended up pouring out more than half of my tiny cappuccino at the rest stop a few miles down the road. However, the girl making the coffee (I wouldn't call her a barista, she even admitted that she "has a hard time with cappuccinos") was so sweet and friendly that I honestly feel bad leaving this review. But I have to warn other coffee lovers to go somewhere else, I'm sorry to say.
