I hate rating a little business so low, but the coffee that I got here was really bad, and expensive. I ordered a small cappuccino and it came out to almost $4 with tax and a tip. That's crazy, especially for the poor quality coffee I was served. I ended up pouring out more than half of my tiny cappuccino at the rest stop a few miles down the road. However, the girl making the coffee (I wouldn't call her a barista, she even admitted that she "has a hard time with cappuccinos") was so sweet and friendly that I honestly feel bad leaving this review. But I have to warn other coffee lovers to go somewhere else, I'm sorry to say. read more

Stopped by on a whim for my first visit today. Two cars ahead of me resulted in a 10+ minute wait, but I think that's only because there was a problem with the order ahead of mine and someone ordered a large bag of coffee (which likely had to be ground). When I got to the window, the worker hustled and my drink came out quickly. I ordered an 8oz "dark chocolate," which is non-coffee drink that's essentially a hot chocolate made with ganache. I got it with less whipped cream and skim milk and it was divinely rich. If you're a chocolate fan, this is the choice. No questions asked. It was indulgent. I would definitely get this again, or maybe even try some of the flavor combos they use in the espresso drinks as steamers! read more

Probably the best coffee spot I've been to on all my travels. Shay was so sweet and nice to talk to. I got the lavender chocolate because I had never had that combination before and it was so tasty (I will be recreating it at home). My partner got the Borgia and it was FIRE! A cafe local to us makes a Borgia as well and it pales in comparison to Rally. We also had the espresso milkshake and I will also be recreating that at home. I look forward to our next trip to cottage grove so we can visit rally again! read more

Best coffee in town! they have great people working there too. I like their REAL CHOCOLATE coffee. Everything they serve is good. They also have cold brew which is best for me to drink. They roast and sell their own beans. My friend visited from Georgia and loved their coffee so much she bought bags to take home. I also sent her some for a gift. Drive up and dine in, outdoor seating too. My friends and I always meet there for coffee. read more

I was in CG for an appointment. We'd stopped in at Rally last year once while visiting family and had a great experience so I wanted to check in for a repeat. I ordered the Borgia with an alternative milk. Such a treat! Fresh orange zest was a delight. For the trip home to Portland I grabbed an Americano. Nice balanced draw and happy sipping all the way home for me. Owner served me the morning and staff in the afternoon- both frIendly and engaging. This is one of the best coffee places in town. The drip coffee is great, but the mochas are the best. It's a little expensive, but worth it. The coffee is locally sourced and organic/fair trade. read more

The coffee was great but there was this red haired girl working the window who wasn't so great...She was very disrespectful to me and when I handed her my money I watched her pocket it and slam the window afterwards. I work in retail and if any of my employees did this they would be fired immediately. I recommend you guys look further into this, I would hate for someone else to have to go through that. read more

If I want coffee, which is always, and I'm in Cottage Grove, which is hardly, I go HERE, NOWHERE ELSE!!!.... and yes I did get an ice cream espresso coffee at 6 in the morning and no it wasn't too early for ice cream! I LOVED IT! read more

WTF are the other reviews saying "the coffee wasn't too bad" -- it was fantastic. I had a Borgia --- espresso with frothed milk, chocolate ganache, whipped cream, and orange zest (in other words, a high-end mocha with orange zest and whipped cream) and it was amazeballs. It's also a nice looking place with super nice staff. If you drink there you get your coffee in real mugs and cups. Nice little patio to sit and drink at... way better than the usual drive-up places. read more

Very best coffee with outstanding service. They excel in their espresso drinks. The pull is just right. Never a bitter coffee. They bring out the crema even in decaf. They care that you want an excellent drink and make it a point to make it for you--or redo it if it isn't right (and the customer decides if it is right or not). If this isn't enough: no add on prices for those of us who need non-dairy alternatives (of which they offer almond, soy and coconut). They also steam your milk if you don't want it cooling down your coffee. They also offer their own cold brew (aka "toddy") and pour-overs. They have totally spoiled me in coffee-excellence but sadly I live thousands of miles away. As I mentioned, their service is energetically friendly and welcoming. They remember your favorite drink even when you are just in there a few times a year. Yes, they have a mug and get it steamed up just right to keep the drink hot. As much as I prefer sitting in a coffee shop, I will mention that the friendliness means that it can get rather loud. The facility mostly has "bars and stools) with pretty tight quarters. There is only one inside table and a few on their "patio". I would love a larger building with cushy chairs and more space from one person to the next. However, stop or drive through anyway if you love great coffee and customer service. read more

Rally has a very friendly atmosphere and pretty good coffee too. It's somewhat small, but that lends to the atmosphere. Don't be surprised if the person sitting next to you starts a conversation, or if the person working the counter does also. They have a drive up window, and it's not that hard to get from the north I-5 cottage grove exit to Rally, if you need some good coffee to get you through a long drive. read more

Staff is the nicest in all the places around CG. They also make real tasting coffee especially on a hot day when I order a blended mocha and they make it on spot instead of pulling a handle where it comes out of a premade machine. read more
