I love supporting businesses that use high-quality, ethically sourced organic coffee, and I don't mind paying $10 for a coffee--but I do expect to receive the full size I paid for. Unfortunately, this has become a recurring issue. Every time I order a 16-ounce coffee through DoorDash, it arrives significantly underfilled. This last order measured only 10 ounces. What disappoints me most is that Rogue Roasters just isn't the same as it used to be. The care and consistency that made me a loyal customer seem to be gone. I hope management addresses this because it's becoming the standard, not the exception. I'll probably just start buying the beans and making my coffee at home.

The "barista" barely acknowledged my order and then my daughter managed to discover a bulk cannister row of Jelly Beans strategically placed at child's height level by the counter. She opened one and about 5 jelly beans came tumbling out onto the floor. I'm pretty sure she thought it was a gumball machine that you have to put $$ into and nothing would come out, as she seemed shocked ;) I apologize and the guy says nothing but proceeds to charge me an extra 50 cents for the few jelly beans. He then brings a half gallon of half in half that I request to the counter. By this time, I am holding my daughter on one hip and trying to pour a completely full container of half n half into my coffee cup. I spilled a drop on the counter and apologize. He then wipes it up hastily, all the while with a scowl on his face. Uhhh, in desperate need for coffee or not, I'll never go back to this place. I recommend driving a bit farther to Reedsport, there is a wonderful coffee joint there (can't think of name) and the owners/workers are super nice. When I visited in July, live dungeness crabs were the catch of the day but changes per the fishing season....tuna, halibut...etc. The captain fishes at night and sells his catch that very morning until sold out. The prices were super reasonable too. What a great place to pick up some fresh/live seafood and cook it up at home / campsite. The Charleston Marina is a beautiful boat basin lined with fishing vessels and crabbing boats where you can walk as well as crab off the docks. This is a must stop if you are in the area.
