On the side of the building were literally 100 tons of oyster shells. We ended up buying 30 oysters at the amazing price of $1 each. He threw in a few extra samples as well. The oysters we bought were harvested a few hours earlier from the cold waters o Coos Bay. The salty brine was perfect and the oysters were so French and firm. We will go back tomorrow and buy another couple of dozen. This was the highlight of our Oregon trip so far, which has been a great trip. (Qualman Oysters is now called Augustin Oysters.)
