a cup of cappuccino

When we arrived, there was a cool young lady making some locals coffee, that she knew were repeat customers. We had to waited patiently in such a cute building. After she made her magic cup of coffee. She expressed it would be hot and strong. Boy, this is what real coffee taste like!

Great little spot on the coast, friendly staff and great fresh coffee, Latin music playing as you enter and they have several options far as drinks and creamers

AWESOME little coffee house on Hwy 101 in Langlois, OR!

Perfect small town coffee shop. 10 outta 10 recommend. The coffee beans are roasted in house. Super friendly staff.

Authentic, unique, great service and a great place to hangout. As soon as you walk in, the aroma…read moreof the coffee beans hits your nostrils. They also have excellent bites such as the turkey pesto sandwich and they rotate their soups every week. You can't go wrong with any coffee beverage you order. But i highly recommend the lavender love and the spicy Mexican mocha. This is a true gem that should be in every neighborhood across the united states.

16-24 months ago, they pumped up their price of whole beans from 15 to 16 dollars per pound…read more Recently, in the last 4-5 months they increased the price of their beans to 19 bucks a pound, (NINETEEN BUCKS A POUND!!) with the owner claiming it's because of POTUS Trump's tariffs'. While I empathize when business overhead cost increases and I don't expect them to eat it, I also am VERY aware that other competing brands of coffee in the PNW are not increasing their prices, and holding the line. Even some more small boutique brewers. I can name 3 or 4 brands right off the top of my head that many would recognize and their prices remain stable that I've purchased in the last week or two. And their coffee remains delicious. When I can get competing, and just as delicious products for approximately 15-16 a pound right now, that suggests it's one of two reasons: Either Rogue Roasters needs to switch suppliers, or RR is using tariffs as an excuse to price gouge- and I cannot say which it is, but I CAN say we are done with Rogue Roasters until they pull their prices back out of the stratosphere.

Just back from camping in gorgeous Umpqua Lighthouse State Park and stopped into Village Roastery…read morefor a much needed cup of joe. I had my 5 year old with me and ordered an Americano. The "barista" barely acknowledged my order and then my daughter managed to discover a bulk cannister row of Jelly Beans strategically placed at child's height level by the counter. She opened one and about 5 jelly beans came tumbling out onto the floor. I'm pretty sure she thought it was a gumball machine that you have to put $$ into and nothing would come out, as she seemed shocked ;) I apologize and the guy says nothing but proceeds to charge me an extra 50 cents for the few jelly beans. He then brings a half gallon of half in half that I request to the counter. By this time, I am holding my daughter on one hip and trying to pour a completely full container of half n half into my coffee cup. I spilled a drop on the counter and apologize. He then wipes it up hastily, all the while with a scowl on his face. Uhhh, in desperate need for coffee or not, I'll never go back to this place. I recommend driving a bit farther to Reedsport, there is a wonderful coffee joint there (can't think of name) and the owners/workers are super nice. Next time, I'm bringing my own coffee pot w/me camping!! BTW, my Americano was pretty decent but nothing special.

Went in to grab a cup of coffee, left coffee-less after an awful experience in the lack of customer service. Dude, clean up your shop, show some pride. If this closes down I think it's best for the entire neighborhood.
