Popped in here for some breakfast and goodies to-go. The staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful (and patient - we ordered a lot of things). One of us in the group had a birthday that I casually mentioned when we ordered a cupcake, and when our orders were ready, the whole kitchen yelled out a happy birthday! So sweet! And let me tell you, that was the best damn breakfast sandwich (bacon melt on an everything-biscuit with a fried egg) I've ever had. Lots of bacon, lots of cheese, a perfectly cooked egg (I asked for a hard cooked yolk), and a deliciously flavorful, flaky biscuit. Their cookies are also wonderful (we got several types). We all loved our meals, and I'm excited to eat the extra biscuits we bought. You really need to try this place when in Bandon. I will absolutely come here again. read more

Yelp listing is incorrect - this place is definitely still open. Wish they were open more days like on the weekends, BUT when they are open their food is delicious! The loaded biscuits are a must try (unless you get there too late in the morning and they are sold out!). The homemade gravy is perfect - not too heavy and flavorful and the breakfast sandwiches have the perfect ratio of meat, egg & cheese fillings. read more

I cannot remember where I found this place but I am so glad that I did! It was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. They offer a wide selection of baked goods and hot meals for both lunch and dinner as well as some cool gifts for sale. The interior of this place is awesome, very quaint and homey, which is a nice change from the minimalist cafe's further north. We were not as hungry as we should have been to stop in this place! I got a "Loaded" biscuit with Bacon Egg and Cheese. This was really a treat. The biscuit itself has sausage and cheese baked into it. Then making a breakfast sandwich out of it is a real treat! My girlfriend got Pancakes with eggs and bacon. The pancakes were the best thing we had and it made me wish I had tried the waffles. I did, however, get a cappuccino that came in a massive 20oz mug! Why don't more places do this? The decor in here was so freaking cool. If you are in town searching for breakfast, stop here! read more

This place is really good for breakfast. My family and I ate here and had espresso before we headed out to watch the king tides. Everything we had was great. The biscuits and gravy and protein bowls were hearty and delicious. The espresso was also some of the best I have had. The place is clean and the servers are very attentive. The meals were very affordable and filling. We will be returning this morning before we head home. read more

Absolutely the best biscuit that I've ever had anywhere even a tad better than butter cloud bakery in Medford, and their biscuits are delicious. I had the loaded biscuit with egg, bacon and cheese. It was perfect in every way. There was even a little bit of crunch on the outer parts. I hope this place does good business for years to come so I can enjoy even more gumminess in years to come. read more

What all the raves are for, I do not know. We got there about 8 am Tuesday and there was about 3 others there. Very limited selections - coffee cake, biscuits and mini cupcakes. First the coffee was very good but it was down hill from there. We ordered biscuits, eggs, sausage, hash browns, bleh. The whole meal including the coffee cake and lemon blueberry biscuit came to about a 2 or 3 stars while the hash browns were horrid and undercooked - they were bland and - crunchy! What a disappointment after reading all the 5 star reviews. read more

UPDATE: I finally got to try this place. After the issue in 2020, I gave them a second chance in 2021 and they were closed the whole week I was in town for Covid. Now, the Oregon health department doesn't require closing when a restaurant has a sick employee, so either everyone on the staff was sick or they were being over-cautious. Strike Two. This year (2022), I finally found them open. [Third time's a charm, I guess.] And, let me say - the food is not overrated. It was delicious. I had a "biscuit bomb" - biscuit dough wrapped around sausage and cheese and baked. Amazing!! Also, I got a lemon/blueberry biscuit for breakfast the next morning. Spoiler alert - it didn't make it that long. It was equally as delicious. What they can do with biscuit dough is incredible. I am told by my local friends that their other options are great as well. They have a full coffee menu, so I ordered one and they do a great job with that as well. read more

The place is so cute, and I was super excited to try it out. It was really the only place with what we were looking for. The laid back vibe was super welcoming, at first. It wasn't but one minute of standing there reading the menu, that the pompous manager/owner walked by me making a rude, demeaning "joke" to me. Trying to be funny or not, this is a restaurant and I didn't come here to have you comment on my appearance. Not to mention, in front of the many people. Be it 3-4. That was still too many to see my utter embarrassment, and deflation. I handled your snide joke with about as much grace and confidence that I could muster. I don't appreciate the way that that you picked on me, joking or not. I should have spoken up, and told you how wrong and rude you were for that but I was shocked. The food however looks amazing. And it was GREAT! So go, but don't dress differently. Thanks guy. Had to delete my original post, as so employee decided to pick it apart and further embarrass me. So here it is again. Had a very tasty raspberry truffle mocha while passing through Bandon. It wasn't pretty like the poster, but it was tasty - good chocolate flavor with the right touch of raspberry (and it tasted like actual raspberry fruit, not syrup). I'd love to try more drinks next time I visit Bandon! The food looks good, but not much to eat if you don't do meat and dairy. I remember the Rolling Pin from its prior tiny location in old town... Shame they don't make their own chai from scratch like they used to, but the coffee is good and the service is friendly. read more

This place is like walking into someone's beautiful kitchen. The people behind the counter must be family. The decor is beautiful and fun. The cupcakes are gorgeous. We had loaded biscuits with ham and cheese. Divine! Also biscuits and gravy were not at all disappointing. My only wish is that this place were open more. We've come here several times on a Thurs and it's been closed. But, if you happen to be in town on the days they are open, go here. Even the coffee is really good! Update: came back a half-year later. This is the place I'll go for coffee now. Their lattes are consistent and their loaded biscuit with ham and cheese is amazing. read more

What a find! Freshly made, tasty, clean, friendly. First time to Bandon, needed breakfast food. Highly recommend, The Rolling Pin did not disappoint! Menu is limited but will satisfy. Offers breakfast and lunch. They offer Veggies Sliders now! Due to COVID, all items are to go. We ordered a Protein Pita, a Protein Bowl and sweet muffin. Wow! Delicious! Protein Pita is prepared with 2 eggs, cheese and 2 veggies (I chose spinach & mushrooms). It was served hot, eggs fluffy, not dry, veggies cooked perfectly. A winner! Protein Bowl comes with 2 eggs and choice of homemade sausage, bacon or ham, chose homemade sausage, delicious choice. Generous with amount of sausage. Served hot in a bowl. Sweet Muffin, excellent! Not dry, gummy, packed with blueberries. They will heat your muffin and add butter at no extra cost. Bargain, yes! I will put The Rolling Pin on my 'must see' when near Bandon. They were not freshly made, microwaved BS with the smallest excuse for a piece of bacon on each of them. Wasting $30 bucks plus an hour of my life on 2 lousy coffees and 2 very mid breakfast sammys put a huge damper on the rest of the day for my friend and I. My guess is lousy owners equals lousy employees. Zero stars.

My favorite drinky things mixed together? Could not resist! So I got an almond milk latte with the mud and it was like the world's earthiest dirty chaicolate, very hearty, nutritive, and warming to body and soul. Neither sweet nor light but enjoyable for what it was - mud is a good name for such an earthy brown concoction. Jen's offers organic sugar, among other options such as honey, if you want to sweeten it up. The lady working there was super friendly and also cooking food. It looked and smelled sooooo good! I'd love to revisit to try the food and more drinks too after the great experience I had here today! Not sure what the food options are like from the perspective of vegan/vegetarian/dairy-sensitive needs (since what I saw being cooked was a bacon-and-eggs affair), but the drink menu at least has you covered with some alternative milks.
