As two queer people, we immediately felt safe and at home. The decor is fun and the food was amazing. The peanut butter cookies (which are only $1 each, by the way!) are SO GOOD. I also got a breakfast sandwich on a parmesan bagel and my friend got an everything bagel with lox and those were also fantastic. Our coffees were great, the pastries were great, everything was great. There is plenty of free street parking in the area so it's very easy to get here. The space is cozy and very clean. The bathroom was also clean and had such fun decor. They also let you pick out free stickers when you order! We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back in the future.

You literally needed a knife to cut them open and once open they were so dry I couldn't eat anymore. So I was hopeful that the fried burrata would be better. However, it was also over cooked on the outside. But once past the coating the burrata and bread was very good. Our main course came next. We both had the lasagna which came with a small salad that was very light and tasty. The pasta sauce was excellent and full of meat and the portions were very large. Lastly we had dessert and it was the star of the meal. We had a lemon pastry/cake that was delightful. Overall, we were disappointed with the appetizers. But the entrees were very good and dessert was just delightful. We will return to give it another go and hope that our first experience with the appetizers was just a one-off.

The Oriental chicken salad without the crunchy noodles was literally just lettuce, chicken and Mandarin oranges sprinkled with sliced almonds. The chicken was cold and clearly taken directly from a prefab bag. The salad would have benefited greatly from the addition of just some cucumbers, carrots and red peppers. At least the sweet tangy Oriental dressing was tasty. We bussed our own table and left. Not an experience to repeat, sorry!

It had an interesting, eclectic vibe, so I figured I'd grab breakfast there. I ordered a coffee and a gluten-free bagel with salmon which was awesome! Three stars for the food! I would've given more, but considering the circumstances. The employee who helped me was noticeably unfriendly from the start and very monotone and detached. I sat at the counter right by the coffee area and watched her interact with other customers. The service stayed consistently flat and impersonal. She even forgot to give one gentleman his coffee and scone and didn't apologize or acknowledge the mistake, which was surprising. I own a business myself, and customer-facing roles are critical. The person at the counter is the first impression people get. If they're not warm or attentive, it really hurts the whole experience. Unfortunately, that was the case here. The concept of the place is cool and has potential, but they need to seriously reevaluate their front-of-house staff and bring in people who actually enjoy engaging with customers. Without friendlier service, they risk losing business in a town that sees plenty of visitors. I probably won't be stopping back on future trips.
