Thank you again Yelp community. I was not a coffee drinker until I moved to Oregon. Coming from Florida it was Not so in your face as it is here. Every Human Bean I have visited here in Oregon has the happiest employees Ever... Maybe it's because of their ages or just the coffee. Probably a mixture of both. I have never visited this place without the employees being genuinely interested in you and your story! As someone from the East Coast I rarely came across such enthusiasm from an employee. As far as the Coffee it's self it's really really good. I'm only giving my opinion on 2 drinks. The MexiMocha and the Java Chip. Both 5 stars. My Bride drinks the house coffee and she says it is also a 5 star. So to sum up my review... Employees 5 star. Coffee 5 star. read more

This coffee shop and the one in Albany makes your drinks the correct way. 100%. I have been to multiple Human Bean coffee shops both in Oregon and Idaho, they are not all consistent. Don't go to the Human Bean coffee shop in Bandon! They are rude and don't make your drinks correctly. This location is good! They are nice. And my Irish Creme Breve w Chocolate (blended) was delicious! For the 1st time - I also tried the Spicy Sausage, Pepper jack and egg Jalapeño biscuit. Wow! If I would of known how good this was I would have ordered it a lot sooner! This breakfast sandwich will be a new "go to" for me. The sandwich also has a nice kick to it; so a heads up to those who have a tongue that it heat sensitive. .... will be visiting my local Human Bean coffee shop to get this breakfast sandwich. read more

The girl taking orders this morning does not listen in the slightest. I said "large bright energy with raspberry and vanilla" the girl said "raspberry coconut?" I said nope raspberry vanilla NO coconut." She proceeded to make me a raspberry coconut? Be so for real how do u mess that up? read more

We ordered 4 drinks 3 of which were supposed to be iced. Only one was made iced. It took 2 more times to get them iced and correct size. But one of them was supposed to be iced chocolate chai was made as a watered down chai, AWFUL!!!! read more

Ordered a caramel hazelnut coffee and it tasted like the nastiest and weakest coffee one would typically make at home with a cheap coffee machine. My husband's black coffee wasn't even espresso. It was brewed and weak. Disappointing to say the least for a coffee shop that is supposed to be well known. read more

So read my post about the Human Bean in Bandon and how horrible the drinks were that we could not even drink them on our way to Coos Bay from Port Orford. So we pulled in to this Human Bean to re order our drinks because they are tasty and we have had good luck with Human Bean. When my partner described what had happened and how bad our drinks were, this Human Bean made our drinks and gave them to us at no charge. I highly recommend this business just on their customer service and the drinks were Great too! I am not saying to expect a free drink, but great drinks and great service! Thanks! read more

Thanks, Human Bean, for having such a shiny new facility at the southern entry to Coos Bay. Yeah, I know you're really in Bunker Hill. But still, where most people driving into Coos Bay first see abandoned hulks of old motels and restaurants and dilapidated houses right off the highway, we'll take credit for you. This is weird, though. People may not be able to actually find you. Linking to directions from the Human Bean corporate website, it takes you over by Mingus Park. On the other hand, the Yelp* map shows you down by Hwy 101 and Shinglehouse Rd. And Google maps thinks you must be in Bandon. Or maybe in downtown Coos Bay. We live about 15 minutes out of town, so every single time we come into town we swing through here on our way in and get drinks. I was grateful to find drive-thru coffee and bagels during my travels. I ordered a cheese bagel with cream cheese and caramel hazelnut mocha. Yum. They did a great job, and my only regret is that there was no way to tip them with a card. That sucked since I was leaving the area and wouldn't be coming back. The staff was friendly. The bagel was toasted perfectly. If I ever go back to Coos Bay, I will visit this little coffee shop and come with cash for a tip. read more

Mr. & Mrs. Picky stopped by at 4:30 (8/11/15) for coffees and had to wait for the two young ladies to finish a long conversation before the light haired young lady came to take the simple orders. Good coffee. But her "care less" attitude was a real Tip Turn Off. We were bothering her. She acted put out with us. After handing over the coffees she Immediately turned away and the short dark haired young lady looked at her as if making fun of us and laughing at our transaction. I am from Grants Pass and have been a Human Bean drinker from the start! I stopped at this location during my little Oregon Coast vacation and let me tell you that this location makes the *BEST* blended german chocolate drink out of every HB locaton I have hit! Not sure what it is they do differently but they must inform the other locations ASAP! I was able to hit this location twice, afternoon and morning, and each time it was spot on perfect! read more
