Enjoyed the place, food and customer interaction between the workers and patrons. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and get a coffee and a breakfast burrito.

Great coffee and one of the best gluten free pastries I have had in a long time. The atmosphere was warm and casual, the music playing was perfect for a cloudy coastal morning, they know how to set the vibe. Service was great too.

Vegan Pablo Breakfast Burrito

Just DoorDashed! Honestly loved the Vegan Pablo Burrito and having an amazing ice oat milk chai was just the cherry on top. My roommate got the biscuits and gravy dish and honestly loved it! Also bonus points because it didn't have an option to take off anything, but I put a note for no green onions and loved that it was accomplished. I haven't gone inside and tried, but I'm excited for the experience!

Cozy/small coffee shop. Iced mocha was okay, but the breakfast sandwich on a house-made bagel was delicious. Note: dogs are not allowed to sit inside, outdoor seating was available.

Avo toast with goats cheese and chives

I LOVE this place when I'm in the area. It's clean, the coffee is great, and the avocado toast (goat cheese and chives) is the number one avo toast in my mind!!!!!! I love how the barista knows the people who come in. Such a great local small business.

Cute coffeehouse that has an artistic vibe. We had hot chocolate, cold brew, a latte, and their specialty insurgo for our drinks. We shared homemade blueberry muffins and the breakfast burrito. I may have missed a description but I believe this is a vegetarian/pescatarian restaurant as there were no meat options for the burrito so it was missing a little flavor. Saw tuna melt and lox and bagel as a menu option. We would come back, and want to try the cheese bomb. The barista/cashier was friendly and helpful.

butterbeer

less ice gets you 75% cup of ice for $8 butterbeer tastes like milk infused with a touch of caramel syrup. didn't try any good yet here but would skip coffee, it's nothing different or better than a hotel room brewed stuff.

Stopped by for the first time and was impressed by the cozy environment. There was a local artist performing in the morning. I saw cookies selling $1 at the cafe. I ordered an oat milk latte and liked the temperature.

Love the vibe! Great service! Swedish Cinnamon Rolls is my new favorite! Coffee is great!

Biscuits and gravy

The biscuits and gravy was phenomenal! Vegan house made gravy with a cheddar biscuit. Hot latte was delicious and you can ask for it to be served in a mug. The pastries are good with great prices. It's busy here and for a reason. We are on a 101 roadtrip and glad we stopped here!

Coffeehouse with flair! Fantastic coffee in cute little downtown location. Obviously a local favorite. Loved my generous portion of avocado on my avocado toast with chives and goat cheese. And my husband's breakfast burrito was gone in a flash it was so good. We went with our dear friends Eric & Cheryl (who live nearby) and it had that's "Cheers" feeling as the barista knew Cheryl's drink preferences without having to ask. Interesting art on the walls, framed adds from local theater shows and all around colorful and interesting decor. Always a favorite in Coos Bay.

Take it all in with an excellent cold brew nitro.

If you're from out of town and doing research to decide which coffee shop: this is the one. First, a cozy and kitschy interior with a large window to take it all in. When weather permits there's ample outside tables. Staff is very friendly. The cold brew on nitro is one of the best I've had and I order them frequently. Definitely on the strong side. The homemade airy cheese biscuit was delicious, get it heated. Great spot!

pretty solid coffee here. i like that it's themed on kurt vonnegut, the book slaughterhouse 5 kinda changed my life perspective. so it goes.. i had to knock off one star though because the barista wrote my name as "daniel". my name is danielle, i'm a woman. this happens to be all the time and i don't understand how people miss the "le" lol. it offends me. but regardless it was a chill place in coos bay oregon coast and really fit the vibe of the neighborhood. eclectic and homey ..

So much fun

Yummy coffee, paired with a loaded Avocado toast. Waited a very long time for it but it was worth the wait. Small shop with friendly staff.

Thank you again Yelp community…read more I was not a coffee drinker until I moved to Oregon. Coming from Florida it was Not so in your face as it is here. Every Human Bean I have visited here in Oregon has the happiest employees Ever... Maybe it's because of their ages or just the coffee. Probably a mixture of both. I have never visited this place without the employees being genuinely interested in you and your story! As someone from the East Coast I rarely came across such enthusiasm from an employee. As far as the Coffee it's self it's really really good. I'm only giving my opinion on 2 drinks. The MexiMocha and the Java Chip. Both 5 stars. My Bride drinks the house coffee and she says it is also a 5 star. So to sum up my review... Employees 5 star. Coffee 5 star.

This coffee shop and the one in Albany makes your drinks the correct way. 100%…read more I have been to multiple Human Bean coffee shops both in Oregon and Idaho, they are not all consistent. Don't go to the Human Bean coffee shop in Bandon! They are rude and don't make your drinks correctly. This location is good! They are nice. And my Irish Creme Breve w Chocolate (blended) was delicious! For the 1st time - I also tried the Spicy Sausage, Pepper jack and egg Jalapeño biscuit. Wow! If I would of known how good this was I would have ordered it a lot sooner! This breakfast sandwich will be a new "go to" for me. The sandwich also has a nice kick to it; so a heads up to those who have a tongue that it heat sensitive. .... will be visiting my local Human Bean coffee shop to get this breakfast sandwich.

This is a very attractive dining area, with a variety of seating arrangements. There was a group of folks doing Bible study in the back. I think this would be a good coffee hang out but I cannot recommend the food. Water station in front area was leaking everywhere. I ordered a half-sized oriental chicken salad with no crunchy noodles. Husband ordered the half Italian salad. Both salads were under $10. The Italian salad was acceptable, with sliced meats and shredded cheese over greens with tomatoes and pepperoncini. There was a creamy balsamic dressing that looked liked thousand Island but wasn't. The Oriental chicken salad without the crunchy noodles was literally just lettuce, chicken and Mandarin oranges sprinkled with sliced almonds. The chicken was cold and clearly taken directly from a prefab bag. The salad would have benefited greatly from the addition of just some cucumbers, carrots and red peppers. At least the sweet tangy Oriental dressing was tasty. We bussed our own table and left. Not an experience to repeat, sorry!
