Hello! We really enjoyed our first time at your restaurant! Chelsea gave us great service! She was very friendly, personable and professional. The steelhead meal was amazing as well as the rockfish fish and chips lunch. We will definitely be back! read more

Food was great and the service was awesome. Shout out to Walter he was super cool and friendly

This place is right on the water which is a really nice view. I walked in and was greeted quickly. I asked to seat outside because I had my dog. They said they were dog friendly and should me to my table. Water was brought to me and my dog. I ordered a cup of clam chowder and fish and chips. The chowder was a good size flavorful very chunky with clams and potatoes with two slices of toasted bread with cheese on top. There was four deep fried fish. The fish were crunchy and flaky. The fries had a good flavor and were crunchy too. With the view and excellent food I highly recommend! I don't drink beer so none were tried. read more

We loved the location as it has a great view of the harbor. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Our server was cordial, but not friendly. She did her job, but was otherwise unimpressive. We ordered the fish and chips and the tuna Ruben. The fish was Rock Fish and it was mediocre. However, the sandwich was very good. The beer was good, but they were out of several selections on draft. Overall, a decent meal. But there are better places in town to eat. read more

We normally come for lunch, but we had the pleasure to come in for dinner. The steelhead with a tomato cream sauce was amazing. So fresh with a generous portion of perfect orzo and a lovely creamy spinach with hazelnuts. My husband's halibut was fabulous. So fresh and firm with a delicate beautiful sauce, heirloom rice and perfectly sautéed green beans. Service was top notch as usual. read more

Very nice, attractive and comfortable restaurant right on the bay. Large glass windows line the back with great views of boats going by. The hostess was a bit put out when she tried to seat us in the front room on an interior table and we asked to be seated in the back with a window table. Our waitress, however, was very pleasant and personable. A limited selection of "bar food" with a number of dinner type entrees. We started with a glass of Pinot grits and their house amber. That was followed with the mac n cheese and cod fish n chips. The mac n cheese was very good, nice portion, cheesy with three different cheeses. The batter on the fish was light but a bit bland. Three pieces, decent size. The fries were tasty but could have been crispier. read more

Wow, cut above the rest. Very nice location with nice views. Requested a window seat. Staff was courteous and professional. We did not have a reservation but were seated promptly. Steaks were Excellent. Fish tacos even better. Their craft drinks from the bar were some of the best I've ever been served. So I definitely will be back refer them to others and provide kudos to the place read more

Popped in this ale house for a quick early afternoon lunch. We were immediately helped and seated outside along the waterway. Chelsea are server was very efficient , outgoing and overall fantastic. We ordered a fish and chips and an albacore tuna reuban. Both dishes came out very quickly were hot and delicious. Tons of different beer and mixed drink options. Also numerous food options. Whole experience start to finish , probably took us about thirty five minutes. A little on the pricey side , but a good place to stop and sample beers, have a drink , quick lunch or even a larger dinner type meal. There is indoor outdoor and bar seating available. Newer building and the bathrooms were also very clean. read more

The food is ok but the portions are too small , nothing special about any of it for the price. I love the location, it has a lovely view of the harbor and that's why I keep going back. I can bring guest to enjoy the view. Last month my guest and I commented that we both felt rushed and the food and drinks are unimpressive. I really wish it was better. read more

We love this restaurant. I had the BLT and coleslaw. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the coleslaw crispy with a tasty dressing. My husband had his usual classic fish and chips. But the star of the meal was the calamari. Light, tender and very plentiful with an aioli sauce that had a slight bite. We didn't take a photo of the calamari because we finished before we remembered! Great service and a beautiful view. read more

Consistently delicious and excellent quality food. I always experience wonderful service. The atmosphere is welcoming to all, families just off the beach, a dating couple or more formal. We arrived on a Wednesday evening about 5 pm and we were seated without delay at a window table. Service was professional and efficient. We had Oysters, Calamari as appetizers. They were both excellent. For the main course we had the Steelhead and that was excellent. We also had the large Clam Chowder as a main course. It was mostly potatoes, we joked about finding a clam, however, very tasty but I would not order again. The ambience was fantastic with the window table overlooking the water. The whole place is a modern design and very inviting. It is a Craft Brewery and the beer was excellent. There is a large parking lot. When we left, about an hour later, people were waiting to get in so plan ahead! read more

Worth the wait! We got there at prime dinner time and had a wait, but definitely worth it. The views of the inlet/bay at sunset was beautiful. The smoked chicken with the cherry bourdon glaze was Smokey, flavorful, and sticky. The perfect complement to the chicken and the herb roasted potatoes. The sweetness and creaminess of the creamed corn completed the steelhead trout. The greens with bacon was the saltiness that the dish needed to balance it out without over powering the delicate fish. Oh and the braised beef with roasted carrots was the perfect soul warming dish after hiking out in the chilly weather. Very flavorful! Also we are from bourbon country (Kentucky) and their list did not disappoint! The prices were some of the best we've ever seen! Overall the Alehouse is definitely worth stopping for dinner and maybe a drink or two. read more

The place was gorgeous, clean and relatively busy yet people were space out enough that it wasn't loud. The service was decent - our waitress was not bad but nothing particularly special. She had to be called over a few times when things were needed, she took our order, dropped the food and never came back. We had to go up to the bar to get our check and some boxes since we didn't see her and she never came over. Food seemed pretty good all around. Nobody had any complaints except for me, the ribs were the absolute driest thing I had ever eaten. But my dad's fish and chips were delicious, the mac n cheese was so great and my drink was out quickly and delicious. This spot was very pricey, considering what was served I was a bit shocked by the prices. read more

Great food! Wonderful salads calamari is great too! Service was great! Thank You Chelsey

Sarah was an excellent server - friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better! Our table of four ordered two fish & chips to share, and I'm glad we did. The portions were huge - definitely too much for one person. The fish was fresh, flaky, and perfectly fried. The tartar sauce was very good, and the fries were hot and tasty, though the coleslaw was just okay. Hubby started with a Caesar salad that was a 10/10, maybe more! He and my dad really enjoyed their Spindrift IPA, and I appreciated that the ice water was crisp and refreshing (always a win since that's all I drink). Beautiful location with a view of the water. I just wish we had saved room for dessert - there's a mousse pie that sounded absolutely amazing! read more

We wanted to go somewhere special for my daughters 21st birthday and thought this place would be nice. It was newer, clean and the location was right on the river. We were seated right away and our waitress gave us window seating so we could have a river view. I told the waitress it was my daughters birthday, hoping they would do something special for her later. We ordered a few drinks and made our food order. It took about 20 minutes before we were served. I ordered the burger and fries. My hubby ordered the fish and chips and my daughter ordered the mac N cheese. Everything looked good, however, my fries were lacking warmth and my burger bun was stale. It was not soft and fresh. I ended up not eating the bun, but just the burger itself. My daughters mac N cheese wasn't as great as she expected either. It was bland and dry. Yes, it had cheese, but it was stringy and not creamy. My husband loved his fish and chips. Hot and fresh and looked amazing. I did have a bite and it did taste really good. Note taken: Do NOT order anything but the fish and chips. When we were finished a new waitress gave us our receipt and asked if we needed anything else. I wanted to tell her we needed more water, but we were ready to go. I wish they would have filled up the carafe of water "before" I was about to leave. And..on top of that...no birthday surprise for my daughter. Some places sing a song or give a small dessert. But nope...not here. Oh well...I think I'll skip this place for any kind birthday celebrations. read more

We were in Coos Bay with our dogs for our anniversary and were so excited to be able to sit out on the patio near the waterfront with them to enjoy 7 Devils for the first time. We started with some Fried Calamari, a Blood Orange Old Fashioned, and a Grin & Pear It. Then we moved on to the Smoked Fish Trio and Chili Green Beans. Finally, we ended with the Chocolate Stout Mousse Bar paired with the McCullough Mocha Stout. All of the food and drinks were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and each item on the menu looked enticing - definitely hard to narrow it down! Our server was friendly and accommodating to our needs while we had our dogs in tow. I do wish the music had played outside as well as inside but we had a great experience either way. read more

It's been a minute since I've been down to Coos Bay, and this strip mall has just popped up here on the waterfront. A great many businesses, and this eatery stood out as a place to try. The service was excellent, and the staff was very helpful. It was nice to be able to look out on the water and enjoy the view. I had the house-made veggie burger, which was great. I ordered it with a salad, which was also very artisan in appearance. All in all a great meal and I will definitely stop by when in the Coos Bay area. read more

There are two 7 Devils locations in Coos Bay. I am glad we ended up at this one. It's located on a body of water in a small collection of modern looking shops and restaurants. The menu is clearly marked for gluten free items and there was a decent selection. The kids menu was decent too. They are kinda elevated pub food. We had the sausage board (delicious!) and a big salad as our meal between us. They had a great beer and wine selection and we went with the house red and white. All good choices for us. The kids Mac and cheese was a little fancy with cheese and breadcrumbs baked on it. Great flavor but my picky eater wasn't having it. I hope your little darlings appreciate a crispy melty Mac topper. The server was friendly. The place was bus but we didn't wait long for anything. Great spot for a date or a group dinner. read more

The food was fantastic! We actually went to their other location on accident and they were so friendly to point us to this location on the waterfront. The other location has a smaller menu and is in the city, this waterfront location has a full menu with entrees, and an incredible drink menu. The service was delightful, drinks never empty, and nothing was forgotten. Food was timed properly also. The ambiance was great, fancy enough to feel like money was well spent, but not so fancy you feel out of place wearing normal clothes. The Mac n cheese and steelhead bites were on a happy hour special and were perfect serving sizes to get both. Clam chowder was delish, albeit not New England clam chowder (it never claimed to be NE clam chowder). Drinks were out of this world amazing. The burger was so fresh, fries too! You've gotta try the ranch dressing. Fish n chips was beautiful and tasty. I'd definitely return! read more

While dogs are welcome outside, I would not call it dog friendly. The hostess gave our dog a communal dog water bowl despite me saying we did not want it three times. Communal dog bowls are a common way that diseases are spread. I was not able to get to my dog in time to prevent her from drinking from the water which was visibly dirty from other dogs drinking it. Very disappointing. Also, the outside patio is VERY small and narrow which can be difficult if there other dogs who are territorial. Food was ok. We got the strawberry salad and fish and chips. Main waitress was very kind and helpful. View of the water was nice. read more

My wife has severe Celiac disease, and for an honest brew pub, the server Cameron was extremely knowledgeable and all the staff conscientious and helpful. The food was excellent. No issues. Service excellent, clean, soft relaxing music, window seating. Hamburger good, not a traditional style, yummy coleslaw.Fresh cut fries with peel, tasty. Only 3 stars because of the classic fish n chips. Do not order! Fried, mostly batter, very little fish. Disappointing for $23. read more

Service was great and the food was a little disappointing and expensive, but that was to be expected. We shared the albacore sandwich and thought it would be OK, but it tasted like a glorified tuna sandwich, we also shared the calamari appetizer and that was good. We ordered dessert to go and that was not what we expected from the high class restaurant. My dessert was kind of like layered pudding, had a lemon flavor. When the waitress brought it out it was in a glass which showed all the layers, however if I wanted it in the glass, then it would have been an extra $5, I told her I didn't want the glass so she poured the dessert into a to go box, that was unappetizing. For the price we paid, we should have got the glass free. Next time tell me upfront about the glass or start putting the dessert into a plastic glass. read more

Delicious brew, fish, and coleslaw on the nice waterfront. Great waitstaff and ambiance

Food was great had ceaser salad, mac and cheese, and calamari and not a single thing was done incorrectly great view and service was good.

No photos, but the sauce that came on the orzo with the steelhead might be the best thing I've eaten here. Great waitstaff as usual.
