Two Shy Brewing was such a fun stop for us in Reedsport. We met up with friends here and ended up having a great time hanging out, tasting beers, and just enjoying the atmosphere. They have a solid selection of beers, and we tried several different ones--all were really good. We also picked up some cool bottles to take with us, which we loved. Huge shout-out to Leah--she was incredible. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and honestly the best salesperson. She helped us with merch and other purchases and really made the experience memorable. This was a random stop on our way down the coast after seeing a must stop review. The atmosphere was great. We felt welcome immediately. Our bartender, I believe her name was Taylor, was knowledgeable and we had a great conversation with her and another local at the bar. The beers were wonderful. They had some very traditional styles, but also fun, creative things like a tangerine/peach Hefeweizen. It was amazing! So were the traditional styles. If we weren't flying home rather than driving, we'd absolutely have left with a few take home packs. We tried all but one of the IPA's and they were fantastic. We stopped by to start our weekend getaway with a drink. We tried the a cider and IPA. Both were so good, we bought a couple of cans to take with us. It was mid day so a little sleepy but the woman working was super friendly. We'll definitely be stopping here when we pass through next time. read more

This is a great little venue on the Central Oregon Coast. The owners also have a brewery/Taphouse in Roseburg, Oregon. They just are having their grand opening and don't have any pub fare yet, but it's coming. You can get a charcuterie, wraps or order pizzas from a nearby vendor and have it delivered. The owners are a very friendly couple. Kids and dogs are allowed. If you like beer, this is the place! They have over 20 of their beers on tap, local wines and hard ciders. read more

This place is a hidden gem for craft beer enthusiasts. The establishment we visited does serve food so the entire place is puppy friendly . If you get hungry during your visit the local pizza place delivers (the pizza was yummy) . Now for the beers fresh, cold and on point and they offered per packaged beers to go . They serve beer, cider, wine and sodas and juice. Family friendly and well behaved dog friendly. Seating inside or out. Bring your own food or order from the nearby local Pizza to Go. Hot and delivered in short order. Charcuterie, wraps and salads are available in house. Limited days/hours currently but working toward a more regular schedule. We've enjoyed this brewery/location for the last few years. We were sad to see the previous place didn't make it but excited when we saw Two Shy move in and keep the "downtown" of Reedsport alive. I wish more travelers would take some time and stop here. They have a decent list of beers to try and they do have pre-made food you can buy from the coolers but also, you can order delivery from a local pizza place just down the road. We've done that in the past but I wanted to speak to this specific trip. We had our two dogs with us in mid-December after spending some time at the beach. The weather was amazing and some people just don't know how good it can be on the Oregon coast in winter because it was dead. We came in without the pups first to see what the status was, because they have reactivity issues with other dogs. I asked about if the outside area was dog-friendly and they said the inside area was! We were excited to see how they would do. We sat in the room off to the right and my husband tried a couple beers while we snacked on some of the ready-made wraps they had in the cooler. Two things to note about the wraps - while they weren't bad, they were a bit soggy probably from being in the cooler a day or two, and they were a bit spendy at like $12 a piece if I recall. The husband really enjoyed their drinks and the dogs did great. It was nice to be set off out of the main entry so they didn't have that extra stress. They do have a doggie bowl of water off to the side of the bar as well. Before leaving, we bought some of their to-go cans of beer. Husband tried them a few days later and they had gone quite flat, something to keep in mind. The man at the bar (the owner perhaps?) was very nice and helpful. read more

Great experience! We traveled to the surrounding area from San Diego and my family and I were excited to try out a local brewery. Great selection of beers, great ambiance, and even better service. My wife and I arrived during our toddlers nap time, so his cranky level was at an all time high. The owner made us feel comfortable by bringing us snacks and juice while we waited for our pizza. We tried a few of the IPA's which were awesome and took home a 4-pack of a variety of types that we didn't have time to sample while there. We will definitely be back! read more

Very happy to see this brew pub back open after a couple years since the founders, 'Defeat River Brewing', closed their doors. Best things about the Pub: local downtown area in a quiet, quaint town, good tasting beers with a good selection, interestingly decorated inside. Not so good: odd hours of operation and rather expensive pours ($7-8 per pint). Also, no food offered on-site other than to carry food in or have it delivered. The beer isn't currently brewed on-site although there are remnants of the Defeat River's original brewing tanks and such. Pizza-To-Go in town offers good pies and other Italian dishes and is located very nearby making deliveries quick and efficient. 4-Stars, could be 5 with food on-site, better open hours and better pricing. read more
